[Q] Gamecube emulator for the futures Android? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What do you think would be enough to emulate requirements in Android?
It is said that ll drk Raziel (nullDC) is creating one now.
I would say with a nVidia Kal El of about 2 GHz and 1.5 Gb Ram would probably play the Gamecube, as this new processor is faster than a Core 2 Duo and 5 times greater than a Tegra 2.
PS: I mean the Gamecube, not the Wii.

I don't even think it would take that much. The dolphin emulator's min. specs is a pentium 4.
Oh and the Gamecube and wii are not even that far apart tech-wise. Dolphin runs both of them.

So correct me is not true that the Core 2 Duo is faster than a Pentium 4.
If not, then: tell me how much RAM and how many GHz must have the nVidia Kal El (Tegra 3) of an Android device?

[Q] Current Android phones?

I saw Android phones today with cpu like 2.2 ghz quadcore or something.
As I can remember I was able to play PCSX2 smoothly with a 2.9 ghz dual core PC before, as well as a laptop something like 2.4 ghz.
I'm planning to buy one, are current smartphones capable of running emulated consoles smoothly? (PS1, PSP, DS, maybe PS2)
If yes, can you suggest what phone?
If no, are the hardwares not good enough or is it the emulators not perfected yet? (will current hardwares run them well in the future)
Thank you~

PC's and Phones use different architecture that is not directly comparable or compatible.
PS1 Games are playable with an app called FPse here:
Other games are playable if they have a specific app with a GPL port like Doom 3 or Jedi knight. Other older games can be played using other emulator apps like Dosbox Turbo but performance is limited.
ps2 emulator
so is there ANY ps2 emulator for android|?
You can use FPse for PS game, PPSSPP for the PSP game. As to DS, their are different DS emulator, among which Drastic is the fastest, most game can run with full speed.
Awesome. I think PS1, PSP and DS emu are more than enough
I'm picking between Note 3, Nexus 5 and Xperia Z1. What do you think is the best for gaming especially for console emulation?

The HD 7 is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz MediaTek MT8125 processor with 1GB RAM. It's not the same as the Tegra 3 chip powering the original Nexus 7, but it delivers performance that is largely similar in most applications. Where it does falter, however, is gaming. It only managed 14 frames per second in the Taiji graphics benchmark and intensive games like N.O.V.A. 3 really tripped the HD 7 up, with load times in excess of five minutes and barely playable frame rates. General system performance is reliable and relatively speedy, matching the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and besting the HP Slate 7. Web browsing scores were surprisingly solid, with a Sunspider score of 1470 milliseconds and a Browsermark score of 2191. None of these scores, however, can come close to the new Nexus 7, which absolutely dominates the MeMO Pad HD7 in the performance department. Navigating the system and launching apps didn't yield anything beyond your typical Android stutters and occasional lag. If you want the absolute best for reasonable money, that'll be the Nexus 7. If you want good enough for the least money, that'll be the HD 7.
For the Aionol Crystal: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Ainol-Novo-7-Crystal-Quad-Core-Tablet.92243.0.html
The SoC is built by the Chinese manufacturer Actions Semiconductor and is dubbed Actions ATM 7029. The manufacturer's website specifies four ARM Cortex A9 processors in this SoC, which would be a considerable powerhouse for this price. However, the cores' clock rate of 1 GHz is not very high. Ainol's Novo 7 Crystal Quad Core only offered a poor performance in the synthetic as well as processor benchmarks and constantly placed itself at the lower end.

[Q] GTA Sanandres support for tegra 2?

I run an acer iconia a500 dual-core 1ghz 1gb ram tegra 2 cpu. Gta sa doesn't work, it closes after social club screen. I heard only tegra 3 and above cpu is supported, true? If not, any solution? I'm running paid version also.

Is it possible to run nvidia shield (tegra x1) games on android devices?

I was just wondering that nvidia shield tv is based on android and has some natively running awesome console games like resident evil 5 and Metal gear rising so maybe it is possible to run the games on an android device by fooling the game about the phone gpu or something else. I think adreno 530 found in snapdragon 820 is powerful enough to run these games. Has there been any successful attempts?

Can't use DirectX 11

Ok, this may seem kinda stupid but I did some research about my GPU which is a Geforce 8400 GS Rev. 4 1GB EVGA Edition, the specs said that the graphic card could use DirectX 11 but still I can´t seem to use because the drivers are for the normal version of the 8400 GS which only supports DX10, so what can I do?
P.D: I downloaded Warframe since my pc can run it and so do my GPU but the drivers doesn´t let my GPU work with DX11 as it's stated in the specs.
