and to answer the post about why i create new threads...the answer.....I create a new thread because this is a new ROM and different from anyone of them....this is honestly MORE sensation XE as far as the files within the ROM goes as well as the programs!
HTC Locations isnt offered on ANY ROM on the CDMA EVO3D and i ported that as well as the SMOOTH Rosie and its Widgets!
Oh yeah BTW...i am AWARE of the force close with the third and smallest friendstream widget....i am repairing it and releasing an update!

AWESOME BATTERY LIFE:
-1 charge battery till full then unplug and use for 5 min then recharge again till light turns green then unplug and enjoy great battery life

Also for those of you who are upset how certain apps are not fully displaying properly on the screen since you purchased an evo 3d, you can go under spare parts and disable Compatibility mode by unchecking it and rebooting, this should fix about 80% of the apps out there that have that problem

good morning my good man , i see your back at it again, hitting them hard with the evo3d roms , i just know this rom is on point , but check this out ,i think you should start making zips we can flash for little things like the blues and purples you like to add to your roms, your roms are always on point and i recommend your work to everybody who say i want my phone to do that,, but if you could when you get some time either a stock zip or a dark themed one will suffice

Hey sacs I see you guys decided to take a shot at using that hdr cam, I saw the YouTube video, I was just wondering how well does this cam work? Considering our cams are only 5megs and that hdr cam has full 1080p options

I assume that the screen scaling script is different than rmk40's OC Daemon. Correct? Also, with the underclock script, if I install setcpu to overclock, does that disable itself? Thanks.

Chad, not sure if this is an error on the kernel side or the ROM side, but every time I end a phone call, the touch screen stops working. The only way to get it working again seems to be clearing the dalvik and cache and rebooting.
The only real clue/hint I can give you is that after the phone is hung up and I'm stuck at the lockscreen because I'm unable to pull the ring up, if I use the volume buttons, it says I'm controlling the media volume, even though it should be saying I'm controlling the ringer volume. Any and all ideas would be awesome

The OP states kernel aiding in WiFi and Bluetooth. Can anyone confirm both music and phone function over Bluetooth?
Im stuck on obtaining IP address when trying to connect to wifi. I'm on newts one s. I know the IP states wifi is working but I didn't know if he meant form one s or unicorn porn. Any suggestions to fix this problem would be helpful

Q: Flashed rom but does boot or get past the HTC splash screen.
A: make sure you pushed the boot.img in fastboot or use flash image gui before flashing the rom if you are still s-on
Q: Some tweaks wont work
A: It is a known LeeDroid issue more or less

Going to give this a try..One suggestion is maybe you could include the default 2.89 kernel and put it somewhere in a file on the sd card kind of like how it is in meanrom. Just so people with the new firmware can flash if they please. Looks promising though, good luck with future development.

Been running for a couple hours. Everything seems good so far. I went ahead and flashed the 2.89 kernel with this, then flashed the 2.89 LeeDroid Tweeks. Everything all good so far.
Running it stock, using sense launcher. I flashed the battery saver mod. Haven't dived into the post boot file yet for fine-tuning (if it even needs it) .
So far, I like it, no problems after 3 hours. Nice job and thanks, babt.

Regarding CPU undervolt&underclock:
R5 introduces multiple CPU profiles to choose from.
Basic profiles are:
-FullSpeed: this profile sets the CPU frequency to 1GHz, no undervolting
-Balanced: this profile sets the CPU frequency to 768MHz
-SuperSave: this profile sets the CPU frequency to 652MHz
-UltraSave: this profile sets the CPU frequency to 576MHz
Scaling profiles have two governors. Sleep governer is ondemand, while awake governor depends on chosen profile.
All profiles also contain governor tweaks. Depending on profile they're tweaked to be battery saving or performance oriented.
Now, before you go nuts saying that's too low etc.
All frequencies have been extensively tested. The ROM runs SMOOTH even on 576MHz!
We all know that saving battery while operating the phone/ screen on, is very difficult. Well this comes a HUGE powersaver.
Because not all users may like this, you have the ability to choose what you want or not want
If you choose a low frequency but wish to play a game, simply open SystemTuner or go to settings> CPU Control, and set the freq to 1GHz or whatever.
The next reboot will reset the freq to your default chosen one unless you specify setting to be permanent.
I personally run the phone with UltraSave, 576MHz everyday. No gaming odc
FullSpeed and Balanced work with stock kernel.
SuperSave and UltraSave do not work because of different frequency stepping.
UV and screenstate scaling also won't work on stock kernel. Stock does not support UV and does not support additional governors.

Unfortunately I lost some of my data then. So I found this zip a few days ago and I thought if anyone still uses GB and this ROM, why not upload it.
I do not work on this ROM anyomore. I uploaded this ROM zip just like I found it. I've made no changes at all.

Root access and minipro camera flash bugz fixes:

Root access issue:
If you should happen to have root acces problems, try flashing this patch: http://d-h.st/VXA [thanX to Blantosz who pointed out the solution]
Steps you can try if you're having trouble with root access:
-Install SuperSU from market
-Find and change follwing line in build.prop to be dalvik.vm.dexopt-flags=m=y
-open ROM zip, and copy /system/xbin/su to /system/bin
Do not move, just copy so it's in both places. Then try to flash the ROM.
MiniPro flash issue:
If you have Mini Pro, if flash doesn't fire when taking picture, flash this patch: http://d-h.st/3V7

R7 is going to be the final version of this ROM I think.... :-/
GB is old news now. Most ppl have moved on to ICS.
Maybe I'll make an ICS X-MoD version?
I will however try to fix any major bugz you may encounter.
So I'm still supporting this ROM, just not developing....
The new ICS like theme and the new lockscreen is thought as a present for all users of this ROM, since this is the final version.
I really hope you enjoy it! I enjoyed making it, as hard as it was. And still there are some bugz -.-
I think X-MoD as a GB ROM has come to it's optimum.
Meaning I made it the best I know, maximum battery life is achieved (one of the best among our GB ROMs I think), while retaining very high performance.
There's nothing more that can be tweaked, upgraded or enhanced for that matter. Except cosmetics maybe. It's finished finally

Installation:
-place xmod.zip on /sdcard
-start phone in recovery mode (CWM)
-make nandroid backup (optional, but highly recommended)
-select factory reset
-wipe system
-wipe dalvik cache
-reboot phone
-select language etc. then reboot again (reboot TWiCE)

I took some thunderbolt! scripts from pikachu01, and modified them a bit
Also supercharger script, sqlite and zipalign scripts.

I tested it with BatteryDrain analyser, on Xkernel.
No extra apps, just a clean ROM installation.
Both wifi and data being off.
EDiT: It may jump a bit higher from time to time because of a wakelock. But in general, that's it.

that tests arent best for testing
u can take screenshots of battery for few days and that way you can see it

That's why I said it's a personal ROM, and not everone might like it.
I've included only some apps, and they all extend or enhance use experience. Let me explain some of them:
EX dialer fits into ICS theme, Easy Browser is THE fastest browser I've seen, sys tuner allows for setting up system, holo locker/ launcher also adds to ICS experience, trackID is sony app, file explorer I think is needed by users who have roorted phones.

Install Instructions
1.) Backup your apps (TitaniumBackup, Appmonster,...
2.) Open the .zip in your recovery
3.) Select FULL wipe in aroma installer (do not update from 3.0.0 to 3.5.0 without wiping)
The installer needs ~15mins for checking system/data partition if you come frome another rom!
4.) Flash a custom kernel if you want
5.) Flash latest Fly- On mod (download uninstaller too if it's not working)
6.) Flash crossbreeder (download uninstaller too if it's not working)
7.) Reboot (takes a while)
8.) Complete the setup
9.) Restore your apps
10.) Enjoy

Very promising features...hope it supports at least 3d video playback and pic like Viper ROM???
If yes...its bright choice to give a try when there is no much sense 4 Roms for our evo

I found one issue: I only have sound on one side of my headphones when listening to music! But I'll fix that as sonn as I can. Btw if anybody has an idea what does that happen ,please tell me

Ok guys I have good and bad news: v6-maniac gave me the permission to use his rom as base. But I'll have to remove some apps like his hub or some apps that also connect to his server, cause it'll screw up his server. Aaand I have to rename the rom
Also a little update on bugs: I found three more bugs that are now already fixed (talkin on phone sounded robotic, auto rotation and the button backlight).

I would recommend you Crossbreader and why no supercharger?
Also is there a reason why the ROM is not deodexed?
And if you could get JB Sense, would you use ION or the old EGL drivers?

Just use the android Version, sense version and the Kernel as title
example: " JB Sense 4.1 Butteredtoast"
