i was able to install certain apps from the market without any problems. but when i uninstall them and decided to install them back, i'm unable to. i get message in market that says that the app isnt compatible with my device... i dont get it! how can i fix this?

sorry it was late when I post this but the runny v3.3 rcmix3d is in the desire hd thread. But yeah it could be in the build prop settings but be careful with the change but im sure it has something to do with the I D of the phone in your file explorer in the sys folder you will see the buil.prop once your their you will see all the way to the bottom stuff like ro.model.= as example. I also have inspire 4g and i had this issue but when Capychimp updated his rom it was fix

hi negrobembon.. i didnt change anything in the build file. but i did install 'font changer'. and this does change the dpi. but, i changed the dpi back to normal and i still get the same issue.

I was getting same problem and it was getting annoying. I fixed it by logging into the android market on the web and tried to install an app that said not compatible. Hope that helps.

Also your market problem is very weird, try to restore and old backup from before u deleted the apps

orb i appreciate your work on xda.. but keep in mind that i put my question in the forum that i thought best. there are many forums here and many times ppl dont know where exactly to put their question or issue. honestly, i dont know the difference between q&a and general forum. to me theyre so similar that theyre the same. i thought i posted my question in the forum that i thought best. you cant ban or punish someone for posting a question in the forum that they thought was a good fit . its not theyre fault.

That’s right, guys. Just download from your phone’s browser and install like a normal app. It’s currently working great on my Evo 3D although I’m not sure if this will work on phone’s equipped with Android 2.1 and lower (per Google) but I don’t think that will stop you from trying, right? Let us know if it works for you! Enjoy!
Oh — and if the new Market ISN’T your cup of tea or starts to act a little wonky, you can always go back to the old Market following these simple steps:
Go into your phone’s Settings
Select “Manage Applications”
Select the “All” tab at the top
Scroll down to Market app and select it
Select “Uninstall Updates”
Now have your old Market back!

yea that worked, but it wont show the picture on facebook, just the info they put on there.... what i need is something that will link the actual facebook contact with the one stored on my phone.... permanently! cuz everytime something happens with my contacts (new rom, hard reset, etc etc) i have to link them!
I get the same problem when I freeze the Fbook app when it never stops running. you'd think contact storage would be left untouched

One of my apps got suspended from android market. The app was a wallpaper app and the wallpapers contained girls, not naked though. Exept for one pic where u actually can see the girls tits..
My question is why it got suspended? I mean, there is A LOT of similar apps out here... Is it maybe cuz I'd put the "Content Rating" to "Everyone", should I maybe have chosen "High Maturity"?

The nips are showing. I don't think google cares about boobs so long as the "vital" bits are covered. This is probably why it got banned.

That's possible. I had an app removed from usa market because in the description it said it was an eight ball type app and mattel own copyright on that phrase. I removed the two words but its still blocked. Google don't give developers chance to defend themselves they just yank the app but they do tell you if you broke copyright as in my case I got a copy of letter to them sent by mattell. So perhaps you have an email un noticed?

Free @ Getjar (www.getjar.com). An updated version has been posted which fixes the "expire" due to leap year but you can also just click back or any button but "ok" and it will still go into the app. The app will NOT show up in the list (no idea why, it runs fine) if you are running an ICS rom so you'll have to download it on froyo, gingerbread etc and backup the apk to transfer if you are on ICS.
*mods* I thought I should add this is not warez. GetJar has several "Gold Apps" which are paid apps available free through their app store.

My Nook Color running CM7 had no problem finding it using the getjar APP and going into GOLD apps. I'm not sending you the apk so you'll have to get it via normal channels.

first of all, it's easier for you to use market enabler to unlock restricted content. thus, you can download anything from the play store.

yes. ME wont work without root.
fresh apk downloaded from the play store using ME method. to dowload it form your pc, you need the Apk Downloader for chrome, but latest chrome broke it already. you need to be on chrome 21 to use this if you need it so much.

For some reason I understand his situation. even thou if he searched before, it's pretty complicated. Is he rooted? Is he able to use the apk downloader for chrome?
For some reason, there are some causes why someone invented the forum. At last this thread will be shown on the search engine for future reference.
