just want to confirm whether it's possible to make the pattern unlock screen a bit bigger? like with out the unlock screen date and time widget. it does take space off from the screen a bit making the pattern unlock a bit small.
it would be really great if it would be possible to resize to like how it shows on the attachment with the emergency call button below it.
just only want to know if it's possible

Hey, i was wondering if any of the devs here know of a way to make the phone go directly to the pattern unlock screen when it wakes. I really hate how enabling pattern unlock makes an extra step to unlock the phone (i.e. unlocked with the regular sense lock screen, then drawing the pattern). I can't be the only one who this bothers.
I used to have an epic 4g and when pattern unlock was enabled, the stock lockscreen would simply get disabled so there was only 1 step to unlock the phone. Does anyone know if this would be possible with a sense rom.
Also, ive tried disabling the sense lock screen all together (It then defaults to the AOSP lock), but you still need to slide to unlock, then enter the pattern.

This is regarding stock SGS2 i9100 ROMS: both GB & ICS
I'm have being searching for this since ICS went out to our magnificent SGS2 i9100, but haven't had any luck to find something about this problem, which I could call it a ICS bug.
This is what happens, when you set, under settings, the security lock screen to be unlocked with a password, in the previous GB 2.3.?, that we used to have in our beloved phone, it was amazing, you got something like a transparent keyboard which allowed the whole wallpaper to be seen beneath. But, in this ICS when you select the lock screen to be unlocked with a password, under security, when unlocking the phone you get an annoying wallpaper re-sizing and after the PW have been introduced the first screen you get of the home screen is also re-sized. I'll attach some pics to explain better the situation and myself.
Is there any way that we can have the old GB transparent unlock keyboard to insert the password in ICS?

Hello, In settings > Display > Lock Screen Wallpaper... there you can change the lock screen wallpaper and also the home wallpaper...

I was trying to retrace or backtrack as part of a pattern when i was trying out the pattern lock in android as the smudges seemed to make just a plain pattern a bit too easy but as far as i can tell that doesn't seem to be possible. I wanted to check and see if perhaps there was a way around this, or something? I could use a pin but using a pattern is easy/natural, just not being able to to backtrack seems like a bit of a disadvantage.
I have cracked my phone on the top-right corner, which makes me unable to see my notifications. It is such a big issue, I would really like to make my screen smaller, just so I can see them again.
Is there a way (preferable non-root, but if it has to be rooted it's ok) to resize my screen? If you grant WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS to an app you can do things like enable fullscreen in all apps, so is there maybe a way I can make an app that resizes my screen all the time?

Because there is no fingerprint sensor (argh! really?) I now need to use a PIN to unlock.
For some reason the PIN keypad on the lockscreen is so small! Makes it hard to easily type in the PIN for me.
Is there any way to make this keypad larger? The screen is so big and the keypad is about the size of the one on my phone!
