I can confirm. Without the original bootanimation.zip I can't really resize it for mdpi.

just install the apk and all instruction was in that apk..

no, you use traditional way of rooting x8 (unlockroot and etc.)
best choice you use flash tool to root. more save and without problem.
You can't do anything without usb cable,LOL! So it's better to root phone through flashtool!
