Devs planning on Modding? - HTC Rezound

I'm trying to decide on the Rezound or the Nexus, what devs are planning on this device? Also, any interest in starting a fund to buy one for Slayher, he said he'd get CM9 up and running if he got a phone?

Ics is garbage on here without the devs. But i guess once we get a good aosp rom ill have to stick with speed rom... Htc no more after this. I don't consider it a phone. I use way less than 100 minutes a month. This is my computer that I can alo use as a phone. Your analogy doesn't make sense for me. I give a crap about call quality or anything phone call related really.

Jelly Bean??!

This is not a rant or a complaint thread by any means, just curious. What's the deal with Jelly Bean? Months ago it was stated that JB would be an easy jump from ICS once we got kernel source. Is this not the case? Is nobody working on it? Any insight would be appreciated.
Once again, not a rant thread just trying to sift for information.

Ditto. Take a look at https://github.com/intervigilium for the pieces of Intervigilium's Sensation port and do git diff on files between branches to see what he changed. The only thing you'll need to do extra is to update the RIL for the new android_frameworks_base.
I'm almost inclined to do the Jellybean conversion myself, but at the moment I'm just too lazy.

Are you sitting on a bunch of build fixes?
Because after messing with it, it looks to me that we need the updated msm framebuffer headers to get the latest libhwcomposer and friends to compile. The modified ABI means the kernel needs the updated driver to actually work, and that entails a lot of other intra-kernel dependencies, too.

Leaked list of updates to JB, Rezound nowhere to be found

Not surprised. The Rezound was automatically excluded from receiving JB officially when HTC posted that any devices running JB would be on Sense 4.x, which they already made clear would not happen for the Rezound back when the One series came out.

The HTC one x, HTC Hero, and HTC Evo 4g had lots of development. This phone has quite a bit support, but it's mainly from the international side. So far I prefer running their work on our phone. The way things look, international will be where all the attention is focused for our phone. Maybe if s-off happens it will attract more Att dev, but who knows.

I find it troubling you seem to have this elitist view of what is or what is not considered development. Scott pours tons of effort in maintaining all of his roms across many devices. Some feel it is worth to have him dev on this phone. Do you really feel the need to dismiss Scott's effort and someones request to get this guy a free phone?
TLDR: Get off your high horse. Its embarrassing.
