Bootloader - Motorola Droid RAZR

So how do I check if we really got an unlocked bootloader here in Canada? I got my RAZR today and love it.

These instructions describe the process:
http://www.addictivetips.com/mobile...a-xoom-bootloader-for-flashing-recovery-roms/
If it works could you please confirm your build number.

Enter fastboot mode (power + vol down)
Then fastboot oem unlock from pc
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App

Locked in my Case. Purchased Phone Monday, Sim Unlocked Tuesday, popped in new sim card with Fido and Voice and Wireless working 100%.
Data, not working, not getting correct APN settings (and, haven't figured out how to change or modify yet for my carrier Fido). Haven't Android since pre 2008, so a little rusty.

can't send receive calls/txt but mobile net works?

Hi, i got a locked on three phone, i used one of the apps on the market to unlock it and debranded from from three with latest open europe update.
When i put in my T-mobile (UK) sim it boot fine, not unlock code needed, and i can use for mobile internet, but cannot make or receive calls or txt?
I phoned T-mobile and they tell me the phone is not blocked?
any ideas?
cheers
Follow the rules post in Q&A| please .
Your APN mobile network settings correct for TMobile's network ??? In other words have you set it up for TMobile network .
What is open European update ????
jje
Apologies for wrong forum, mod please move.
Update is from
sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=1&m=GT-I9100&r=1#regiona
I9100OXAKL1
When i go to networks i choose automatically select preferred network, this connects me to T-Mobile. Checking the APn i see T-Mobile with green light. Selecting this and checking the details, all looks good when compared to settings when sim is my HTC Desire HD!
Though the layout of settings and detail types are not the same on both phones, the setup details are.
cheers

Hi, ok tried two different uk stock roms from link
I9100XWKE2_I9100XXKDJ_I9100XEUKD1
This worked the same as previous, can register on network and get mobile internet, but no txt calls.
I9100XWKE1_I9100XXKDJ_I9100XEUKD1
Tried this as KE2 reported to have some issues with orange. T-Moble, Orange share networks.
Same KE2, can get mobile net no calls/txt
Later version
GT-I9100_XEU_I9100XWKI4_I9100XEUKH2_I9100XXKI1
This one registers on network, but no mobile internet or txt/calls.
Really don't know why as phone is not blocked by network, or so they tell me. Checked imei number on checking sites and it come up clean too!
any ideas?
many thanks
hi, i am thinking this maybe a hardware fault as checkmend give it full clean bill of health.
All the settings seem fine in Settings> About Phone and in Setting > Wireless, Networks.
Have good signal, services are all connected.
Now when i do
*#*#4636#*#*
I see that it is set to GSM/CDMA auto PRL, (My desire was set to WCDMA) even if i change this it always reverts when i enter the screen again. In wireless, networks it stays at GSM/WCDMA automode
Now when in *#*#4636#*#* screen i also see one thing that may give clue to issue with output from

From searching the web i found these setting below for T-Mobile. The main problem i can see if try and create or edit APN on S2 is that there is no WAP Protocol setting, and APN settings is limited to 3 choices, none which are same as on my Desire HD settings.

[Q] updated ICS 4.0.3 on galaxy s2 but 3G data package services are not working

I was using the XXKH3-Deodexed-Zipaligned-Rooted-CWM-Busybox ROM and I have updated my GTi9100 with ICS 4.0.3 I9100XXLPB rom.
After updating the ROm, the 3G data package services are not working.
If I am trying to download an MMS, it says download failed. The carrier is ETISALAT UAE.
Anyone who can help me sownload the correct ICS ROM file??
But not from multiupload, i think the site is not working in UAE.
Regards,
You don't need any ROM files. What you need is your carrier's APN settings.
Google for the proper settings for your carrier and then go to Settings/Wireless and Network/Mobile networks/Access Point Names and press menu button. Add a new APN and enter the data there. Do the same for your MMS.
Edit:
I had some time so I found the settings for you.
First APN for 3g as follows:
Name: 3G
APN: etisalat.ae

MMS port: <Not Set> .. leave it as it is.
MCC: 424
MNC: 02

[Q] Telstra.Corp APN won't work

Hi,
I'm trying to set up Samsung Galaxy Note to connect to a private IP WAN via the APN telstra.corp but after I switch to this APN and restart the device the H/3G icons don't appear. Attempting to connect to internal websites fails instantly with a "Web page not available" message. Other applications won't connect either.
It isn't the SIM or the account information as this works when the SIM is switched to a different device (forbidden fruit 3GS). I don't have another Android device to test it with.
Thanks for your help, any suggestions will be graciously accepted – including suggestions as to where else I might be able to look!
