[Q] stock cm7 music player - Optimus One, P500, V General

can any of you upload a stock music player of cm7? im on dax's themed rom and i kinda don't like its music player..plz upload anyone

It's in the attachment. But I strongly reccomend to use Google Music/PlayerPro/Cubed/doubleTwist/PowerAMP.
Cubed (3) and doubleTwist are free, but if you like the stock one you should use PlayerPro.

thanks +1! you saved my frustration..

stock music player is good, however google shall add some nice features and new glorious look,
bad thing is that it does not have equalizer =(

is anyone having beat skips on any player other than stock player..
i tried winamp and Mixzing, and in both all song skips at 2-3 parts..

I was getting BZZZT noises all throughout songs in random places with the stock music player and Google music beta app. I switched to playerpro and I'm not having any issues.

It's called noise reduction, if you have noice in stock player than either there is a problem with your device's audio playback or your music is noisy. In most cases it's the second one.

try ttpod! best ui

O MY GOSH, thank you SO MUCH for the Cubed (3) recomendation... this is the ONLY music player so far i have found that has the ability to CLEAR the now playing list... so you cant press pause/play and have music play at any time.

anyone can please upload stock camera flashable zip file

[APP REQEUST] The perfect music app for X10 mini

Dear devs,
I have a little problem and hoped someone could help me out.
I have searched all over for a music player with a nice widget for smaller screens, and now I have finally find one.
Its actually the official gingerbread android music app(search the market for gingerbread music. Its actually (almost) the same one as provided in slades rom.
Only there is one problem:
The shuffle and repeat buttons dont fit on the small screen, but in the one from slades rom they do.
So my question is could someone recompile slades music with the widget from the on provided bellow? This would be freaking sweat cause than I can call my phone 'perfect'. I will attached both players below.
Thanks in advance!
Gr, Matthijs

Try these other apps instead:
PlayerPro (market, paid)
Google Music 3.0 (market, free)
Winamp (market, free)
TuneWiki (market, free)
Songbird (market, free)
RealPlayer (market, free)
DoubleTwist (market, free)
cubed (market, free,[its name is the cubed symbol])
and there's a lot more that I haven't thought of at the time of writing.
Best music player so far is PowerAMP...its worth the buy, still you can try demo from the market its time limited, dunno for how many days Best player from all of them, best performance, built in EQ, supports BT headsets got a separate widget pack that is ideal for the mini, easy to use, tag support, etc.. The best one for me and i have tried about 20 different music players...
http://www.powerampapp.com/
Give it a try...
Yeah, the most recommended
Google music, simple but effective
Winamp is my choice..
do any of those support changing music tracks by using the headphone's button? because i really miss that. its annoying to have to unlock the phone to change tracks while i am running
Winamp does. You might need to check a box in the app settings. "control with headphones" or something like that. I like winamp, except it's a little heavy on the battery. The wifi-sync with desktop-winamp is great though!

hm.. will try it then. thanks!
I'd just like a music player with a full set of lockscreen controls.
left button: previous track
Middle: play/pause
right button next track
and a search bar on the screen itself to search songs in the library.
ALL lockscreen!!
Try UBERMUSIC! is a beta but is working pretty well is theme based and it is awesome
Astro Player is the best! It's playing music directly form a folder, making alphabetic playlist from songs in a folder and updates the playlist automaticaly when songs are added later inside the folder.
Real player perfect ^^

music player

3d/cubed....pretty cool!

Player Pro does this.
Agreed +1 on player pro (current player with sense skin)
Also use the folder option as well...so that option won me over entirely
I think there is like one more player that offers a folder option (trust me I went through them ALL) but cant think of it to save my life...might of been miui player??? idk?? dont hold me to it...
I think Mixing had folder option as well. I started using Player Pro a couple years ago and never looked back.
It's good but i prefer poweramp
Sent from my Motorola MB855 using XDA App
It has a nice interface, but messing with the EQ too much causes it to hang. And if music is playing, you can't control it in any way, the only solution is to force close the app.
I usually just use Amazon MP3 to play music. The stock Blur player leaves a lot to be desired, and Google Music doesn't (seem to?) differentiate between cloud and local playback. With Amazon MP3 it's real easy. Plus, I buy music from them and I've ripped and uploaded my CDs to their cloud (and to Google's, it's nice to have options, heh). It isn't a great player, but it's reliable. And while I enjoy music, I don't play it on my phone often enough to need a fancy player.
But, thanks for the link, it was fun to try out.

[Q] Stock Music Player on CM10.1

I have installed FUSION v8.0 ROM which i believe is using CM10.1
The music player which comes along doesnt support folder browsing and also the volume is quite low.
Is there anyway to use music player which comes from samsung on default.?

Samsung music player needs Samsung TW framework, hence no way. Maybe try one of the thousand other music players in the Play Store?
Yeah if you can put a slight amount of money aside to buy poweramp, you won't be sdisappointed.

Thanks for suggestion. Very nice music player indeed.
But still m missing the loud sound of the stock music player. Is there any way this rooting is creating this issue?

Thats one of the great things of poweramp, you can make it loader.
rooting itself will not affect volume. It's probably a ROM thing. Custom Kernels such as Devil (link in my signature) will allow you to increase headphone output to.

[Q] Music player recommendation with specific requirments

Hi,
I'm looking for a music player which:
1. Has a nice looking clean interface, Google now like. A good example would be Shuttle player.
2. Will not display the same album multiple times. Some music players put most songs on one album and the rest on another due to various reasons. On some music players, this doesn't happen.
3. IF possible - a music player that does not cause mediaserver to go nuts.
Thanks.

Thanks, downloaded it and it looks nice once you apply a light theme. Also doesn't have the annoying duplicate albums.
One thing no one has commented on, is there a music player that eliminates the mediaserver problem?
How about nexmusic+ , apollo, and Now playing. Shuttle is pretty great already, just wish thy would add scroll animations.
Hope this helped.

really good sound
dsp manager and apollo make by far the best sound for my music, I immediately noticed the difference, I downloaded other music players and by far nothing beats apollo and dsp manager and tbh I am not particularly fond of how apollo player works, i dont like the fact it doesnt have the ability to play music by folders and when you are searching for a particular song it wont give a drop down menu with pre-search matches like most other players do, it is clunky to make a 'play list' not really great for helping you search the song you need to find (specially when you got 10gigs of music in your sd card) but I just cant leave apollo+dsp player due to how amazing the sound quality is, and I know prob some musicians or sound experts out there can get better sound quality with other players that have the advanced features to tune different sounds but I am not a sound expert and I dont really know how to 'tune' this players to what I get out of the box with apollo+dsp manager.
Does anyone know of a player that syncs with dsp manager as well as apollo does, I tried a few but no cigar

Try Play music,,
Now I am using Viper4android with toggling between Play music and xperia walkmaan Music player... It is awesome..
Just buy a decent pair of in-ears (what I prefer) or buy good headphones.
Also it's a bit of a personal thing, others want more bass and less treble.. Also depends on what kind of music you listen.
Personally I like and have the Sennheiser CX-400 Precision, it produces a ''Lifelike Sound''. It all sounds really natural.
Also depends if you buy/download the song in ''Original state'' MP3 file in 320kbps or FLAC (around 1000kbps) or rip it from YouTube. Want to mention that you almost can't notice any difference between MP3 and FLAC when listening with normal speakers, with good headphones/in-ears you do but not a lot, but you can hear the sound is a bit more sharp.
The worst thing you can do is rip song from YouTube because it's already converted once while uploading it so audio quality isn't as good as the original copy, and then you are gonna rip it from YouTube and than it becomes again a bit worse, even if you convert it to 320kbps, it is already not a real 320kbps one anymore.
About the music players.. I'm stuck with Poweramp, with his features like cross-fade which you can set per ms, the themes you can apply for a nice KitKat/Jelly Bean or whatever you want interface, and the ability that you can long-press the song you're playing at the moment and get a pop-up of,
1) All the music from that specific artist.
2) The whole album of the relevant song you're playing.
3) The map where the file is in.
Good audio quality depends on multiple things.
Peace.

Yup most my music is either 192 or 320kbps just because I 'suffer' from real fine audio detection in my ears and it bugs the **** out of me when my music doesnt sound crisp and detailed with each instrument noticeable within the music. I call it 'suffering' because when I hear the fukin radio or some other low quality audio source (Pandora on low bandwith setting blaawhh).
So I immediately noticed when I played music through Apollo with the DSP manager in the settings I preferred. I have tried power amp, google play music, and many other players and equalizers in the Play Store and around the web (viper4android) and its just not the same for MY preference of audio. Granted I am not an audio engineer so it is prob me not knowing how to tune the different audio tools but for my low level audio exp Apollo+dsp manager in android kitkat has been by far my favorite.
