FLASH AT OWN RISK, i take no responsibility if your device is not working afterwards, as I'm a n00b and not a developer.
How to flash:
1. download zip file
2. rename to PG09IMG.zip
3. put file on sdcard root folder
4. boot into recovery
5. when asked to update use the VOL + for YES and VOL - for NO
6. once complete device will reboot and device will be updated
- Feel free to use and abuse ROM as as you feel like it
Good Luck and Enjoy!

sorry for beeing a noob, but what do i get when i flash this rom, i assume that all the crap that at&t put in dissapears, but do i get extra stuff from htc, like locations?
also, do i have to have s-off?

Is this rooted?

Not rooted

This is just a new version of the ROM from ROGERS so that means it still has bloat ware on it not from AT&T but from ROGERS so IMHO i wouldn't bother.
i put it up here so maybe some dev can take it apart and make some thing useful out of it.
PS< this ROM can be flashed on a NON-ROOTED jetstream as it is a official ROM, just not sure you'd want to if you're not with ROGERS.
Good Luck!

ok, maybe it still has bloatware, but i downloaded the manual from htc, and it looks like it has more programs that's useful, like wi-fi hotspot, and it has htc navigation, if it's like htc locations, then it has offline maps
i tried to flash this rom, but i had problems typing in fastboot commands

has any flash this Roman on At&t jetstream
If yes did you face any problems

First i put the downloaded file on a external sd card, renamed it to PG09IMG.zip, booted into recovery, on the screen i saw a column moving, checking the file.
after a while when it was done, i selected the recovery menu, i got i icon with a phone and a exclamation mark, and after a while it rebooted.
Then i tried to flash it throu fastboot,
in fastboot mode, i typed:
Code:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip PG09IMG.zip
after some checking i got FAILED (remote: 42 custom id check fail)
so i assume that there is some check if i have a jetstream from at&t or rogers.

not 100% sure but do you have S-OFF?
also another thing i noticed different is how it reacted to your jetstream, on mine, i copied the ROM to the ext sd card in the root folder and then i booted into recovery it did a whole bunch of checks and then it asked me if i wanted to upgrade or not. So not sure why you had to go into the recovery menu. maybe try having your jetstream on fastboot and try it again.
Hope it works! Good Luck!

i don't have s-off
when i had the rom on my ext sd card it did the checks like it did on your's but i didn't get the update prompt, i even tried to use a gold card.
so i don't think at&t wants us to update the rom, i think i'll have to wait till we get unlocked bootloader or when we get root.

Your jetstream is at&t so you can't flash rogers rom
I have done all the above mention methods and by using goldcard.

Uploading to 4shared and will have the link in an hour or so.... DONE--> check the OP#1
Thanks for the PM ytwytw, that did the trick to bring it to my attention
Also on another note on data and SIM usage... this ROM is NOT LOCKED to ROGERS although it has a splash screen saying ROGERS, I've tried it with TELUS and BELL and can confirm it works perfectly

I try to flash this stock rom

(via both RUU on my pc and goldcard with PG41IMG.zip), it was flashed flawlessly, but when finished it hangs in that "htc" screen.
I tried to s-off by revolutionary but I can not access the android working screen so that can not enable usb debugging mode, on the pc it just shows

I tried to unlock the bootloader via htcdev (I know my view 4g isn't in the supported list yet, but at least fastboot should read its info, but I was wrong). At step 8, it shows:

(bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!!
OKAY [ 0.007s]
finished. total time: 0.007s

It still boots in to fastboot mode, and I could see that it's s-on, hboot is 1.13. Now I want to make it s-off or unlock the bootloader in order to flash a custom rom.
Can some one please help me with this ?
Thanks a lot,

I don't know what happened to my evo view, I didn't s-off it before. My brother borrowed it and when he gave it back to me, it was just in that situation, hung at htc screen. So I tried to flash another stock rom (actually , it's the rom running in my device) , but I have no luck to bring it back
Are you sure you're using the 1.22.651.1 RUU?
The reason for asking is that the RUU process is detecting that as the version-main on your device but is then saying there is a version check failure which would indicate that that is not the RUU you are using.
I tried the RUU in the first post, also another sprint express RUU 1.18 with no success bcoz of a bootloader error. I download these 2 roms from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1062184
You must use the 1.22.651.1 ROM, can you run that again and collect the RUU log for that version.

I tried htcdev to unlock the bootloader but they do not support View 4g yet.
I tried revolution pre 0.4 without any luck because it asks for the device to enter the working screen. The tool only shows "wating device..."

thanks for your answer. But in order to make revolutionary to work, you have to access android working screen to enable the "usb debugging mode", if not, there is no luck. htcdev tool does not ask for this, everything is working on the fastboot mode. Unfortunately, somehow fastboot.exe couldn't read my device info in the step 8.
@globatron, I'll try to reflash it and upload the log. Thanks so much for joining me
Try pulling the rom.zip out of the 1.22 ruu.
Rename the zip PG41IMG.zip (.zip is the extension not part of the name, some people actually make that mistake).
Place the PGxx.zip in the root of an sdcard and place the card in the device.
Boot the device into bootloader/fastboot and let it read and hopefully it should install and get you back to a running state.
I find running ruu's can most times be a pain than a saviour.

thanks for your advice, I did try it that way with no success. let me make thing clearer in the first post.....
Run the RUU again as I said, with the version I specified. I need to see a log that is definitely for that version.
Sorry for the delay, it seems that the main battery is low, I can't run the RUU right now. It is charging. Sorry for that
when you have enough power to do this, delete all the old log files before running the RUU so only the ones from this run are included.
okay, here it is the log file
ok, that RUU was entirely successful. Does it boot now or is it still the same?
It's still the same, hangs at htc screen
try removing the sdcard and a factory reset (both together) then see if it will boot with the card still removed. If not take it in for repair telling sprint that you tried to take an OTA update then this happened.

Install this:
http://goo-inside.me/superuser/Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip
Worked for me as far as I can tell. My device says S-ON but above that says 'UNLOCKED' and I was able to flash the CWR 5 recovery image and use that as posted earlier in this thread.
The worst nightmare was getting my computer to recognize the phone. I had recently put a new hard drive in my computer, and HTC Sync etc would NOT work. I tried TWO other computers and still would not work. Finally had to dig up the old hard drive, put it back in my first computer (since I had used that successfully to update my Slide in the first place to Froyo 2.2) and do all the steps.
Still can't explain what the problem was, since the new hard drive is the same base OS (Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit) but at least it worked. And now this phone has some life again (despite a failure to replace a cracked digitizer)

You can't S-OFF with the new bootloaders. But at least with your bootloader unlocked, you can do some of the things an S-OFF'd phone can (like flashing CWM Recovery and r/w in /system/), so it's still fairly useful.

I am BY FAR no expert, but it looks as though your bootloader is still locked. You need to submit your Token ID to HTC and they will send you a .bin file that you can use to unlock your phone's bootloader.
Again, perhaps I'm not understanding your issue correctly so I don't want to go into too much detail and steer you in the wrong direction. Hopefully one of the gurus can pop in and shed some more light on your problem.

Also don't you have to be s-off ans super-cid to downgrade?
Thanks again

Try flashing the ICS ruu (Make sure it's not an OTA!) through the computer. This can be done by getting the RUU for your carrier (make sure it's an ICS one), preferrably the 531.3 version or the R2 version if you're on T-Mobile (which you are from the pictures). After you have it, rename it to PH85IMG and then put it in an accessible location.
Assuming you have fastboot drivers set up, open command prompt and make sure your phone is fully charged and is in fastboot mode.
Then type in the following commands in RED:
fastboot erase cache
(If it doesn't allow you due to an error "Remote: Not allowed", it's not a big deal)
fastboot oem rebootRUU
(Please note that the case IS important here. rebootruu WILL NOT work. It has to be rebootRUU. It will load up a screen with HTC text in silver. This is normal)
fastboot flash zip PH85IMG.zip
(Now this WILL take some time, this is why a fully charged battery is important. Oh yeah, also do NOT listen to what the green bar on the phone says, it is usually wrong. You will know it's done when it says "OKAY" and nothing more happens after that (even after 5 minutes) OR when it brings up an error, usually stated in text such as "FAILED". Whatever happens, I would like you to copy and paste the entire output, starting from fastboot erase cache, down to the very end.)
Good luck!

I got the RUU from this website.

EXE/ZIP RUU's M8_ATT Lolli/Kitkat (s-off only)(newest)

As many of you are aware, flashing roms to our phone comes with risk. That risk is dimished by the availability of an RUU for our phone.
I have made this available as a standalone APP (.exe) for PC use as well as a SINGLE zip file for SD card loading.
This is for s-off users only. I repeat...s-off only.
This WILL wipe your phone (internal memory). IF you are able...backup data prior to using this. This works EXACTLY like an RUU for s-off users. Two options exist for using this zip. This will land you on STOCK Lollipop 5.0.2 or Kitkat 4.4.4 pre-rooted with stock recovery.
Option 1
Download the RUU.zip for the OS you would like to land on and Rename file to 0P6BIMG.zip and Copy 0P6BIMG.zip to root of a physical SD. Not internal storage! If you have issues with it getting stuck while loaded simply flash the hboot zip below first using the above method.
Reboot phone to bootloader and follow prompts once RUU is detected by phone.
Option 2 (App/EXE)
For Lollipop, this will be a single EXE with no need to extract. The EXE will install any/all dependencies your pc needs to in order to flash. Simply download the Lollipop exe and run it!
For Kit Kat exe-
Download DOTTAT_ATTM8_4.4.4_S_off_FUU.zip from below. Extract files to folder. Double click ARUwizard.exe. Proceed with prompts until phone reboots (complete).
## expect a good 5 minute plus first boot!
### if you get a side by side application error install this and the fuu again.

Baseband here. I honestly forgot to check hboot but it's likely 3.19 like the other m8's.

This looks like the OTA that came down from AT&T this past week? If so it comes with a new radio that switches the AT&T APN to something called "nxtgenphone". This has been found to have issues with ROMS like CM12, in which no data signal is present and you are not able to set a new APN to resolve the issue. As far as I know it's actively being worked on by the CM team, but I haven't seen any updates in the past 24 hours or so. I do not know if this new radio has adverse affects on other ROMs.

thanks for the heads up! Sounds like the same crap we have been going through over on the VZW devices for some time. We have sim card unlocked phones from the factory but the APN selection has become a huge pain in the arse. You cannot edit them and have to use what shows up (which varies based on the sim card used and they only ALL show when a vzw sim card is inserted!)
Do we need stock recovery installed in order to run these?

So is this an RUU or an FUU? The two are pretty different and I'm not sure if I should use this or not?

Both are full RUU. One is just the zip version and one is the EXE. Both are pre-rooted.
I am currently on a stock custom rom that's on 4.4.2 with Philz recovery. Can I just run this ruu to update? I realize I may lose data but I've got that backed up.

Yes. You may need to separately flash the hboot if you do the SD card method.
@dottat
Nice to see you over here bud.
Just an FYI for those coming from 4.4.2. I was on Skyfall's custom stock 4.4.2 with a ton of xposed mods. I followed the sd card method for install and then did a data only restore from a twrp nandroid. Everything restored fine except for my notification ringtones which I had pushed to system. You will have to reinstall the xposed framework for the modules to kick back in.
Question, does one have to be CID specific to flash this? I am currently SuperCID and don't have a computer with HTC drivers at my disposal right now.

Super cid should be ok as long as your mid matches.
took me two tries but the 0p6bimg.zip method worked for me to revert from GPE conversion. The first time it said it failed, booted to a red triangle screen. Manually booted back to hboot and that had reverted. let it update again and it was fine.
Thanks for this.

Gpe uses a much smaller system partition. When converting back to sense the best method is to flash the latest sense firmware and factory reset from hboot or recovery. That format puts your system partition back to the stock size of around 2.6 gigs vs the 1.2gigs of gpe.

SIM/Carrier unlock help needed!

Ok so I'm trying to setup the HTC Desire 601 (Alltel) for my mother on Straight Talk. I was told that in order to get it on ST, I need to SIM unlock the phone. I tried inserting a T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, AND even a Sprint SIM card and I can never get the SIM unlock menu to come up. I already have the code, the phone is S-OFF thanks to Sunshine. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
I've already spent money on the unlock code, Sunshine, and the Straight Talk kit so if there is a free way to do this, that would be awesome! Thanks everyone for your help!

Is the phone running the stock rom or a custom one? The unlock screen will normally not show on a custom rom.
Otherwise with s-off you can probably sim-unlock using the SIEEMPI method:
https://www.sieempi.ro/blog/2011/09/22/universal-sim-unlock-for-s-offed-htc-devices-536
Btw rumrunner s-off works fine on the desire 601 and cost nothing (I know its to late)

It is running stock unrooted. Thank you so much for the SIEEMPI link! Wish I would have researched rumrunner lol. Oh well, jcase is a great Dev and deserves the donation. Thanks again for the link, and I'll post back with my results later.

Yep let me know, if its not working with the config.dat file on your sd card there is another method to do it using an Y-USB OTG cable with a external hard drive.

Well on the first try it said "sd init fail" so I put the file on an sdcard and tried again. It said everything was a success except for reading some other files, but then it said it passed. However, after rebooting it looks like I'm still network locked to Alltel. I ran an IMEI check to make sure the phone isn't reported as lost/stolen and it came back clean so I don't know what's going on. The only SIM card I have tried after trying to unlock though was the T-Mobile SIM card that came with the Straight Talk kit. I'm wondering if that would even work though since this is a CDMA device?
Code:
SD init OK
Reading config.dat files [37]Bytes
Read MCCMNC file success
Open CID file fail
Open IMEI file fail
Open atsdeb file fail
Open SF file fail
Open NAME file fail
Get device IMEI success
IMEI checking ...PASS!
Process done, reboot device?
^^ That's what it shows after I select "SIMLOCK" from the HBoot menu.
I wonder if the phone also has to be rooted?

Root doesn't matter, the OS is not even booted when in bootloader so how root would change something
So your phone is CDMA.... I'm not sure it will work on CDMA phones, I'm confident it should work on GSM devices (model ending with U or UL).
Everything you are seeing on your phone is normal btw. Should look like this:

You might want to try the other method using an external drive like described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53590360&postcount=606
But again looks like everything worked fine in your case. That might only be caused by your phone being a CDMA variant...
Just tested; works with a different SIM. Mine is UL though.

Yeah I think I'm just going to give up on it and cut my losses. I'll just buy her a different phone. I've bought enough for that phone and don't really want to buy an OTG cable.

Walmart had a pre-black friday sale where they had a Straight Talk LG Sunset for $24 (normally $100) so I just got her that. Thanks for all the help though guys!
Actually once you are s off, reboot bootloader and type the following.
fastboot oem writecid 11111111
---------- Post added at 03:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:59 AM ----------
This is called supercid, your phone now does not identify one particular network as home. In essence, your phone is simunlocked until you change this.
