Hey I was wondering if someone could develope, or knows of, a Camcorder application that has a PAUSE feature instead of just stop? I am interested in trying to make some stop motion recordings if it will work right...
+1 for this! I really miss this fuction, 'cause a lot of interesting and scenic things can be made with such a feature!

I think it needs a combination between video editing software and Camera's one !

Anyone else agree? Is there anyone that can do this, or know something that will work? It would be cool and alot easier to do if you could just push pause while recording. I haven't even started making any videos, just thought this would be a kool idea if someone could make it and would be some good motivation.

Everyone knows it:
You're just making a nice vid of the most beautiful landscape you've ever seen with your HD2 ...
... and suddenly you notice "DAAAAMN ... I got to fart!" now you could stop the recording, but the landscape will be ruined and you will have 2 split-files. You could also just fart, but that way you will not be able to show the vid to your in-laws.
So what to do ?
I need this feature. Everyone does!

I think thats impossible, i mean those small compact cameras cant even burst.
Because it has to autofocus and it reading the sensor will go too slow to actually burst. That's what i think, owning both a dslr and compacts.
Haven't been here for a while, anything happenin' on this feature yet?
Bumping this tread, isn't there any devs that could maybe explain if this is possible or not?
Dude seriously, if i had this feature i could be makin some awesome million page view videos by now, and then i could become a youtube partner and be makin some bank, and then i would be able to donate generously to the developer(s) and xda!! ....LOL So c'mon let make this happen!!

I'm pretty sure my old Nokia 3650, when I first got a cell phone, had this feature... Our phones nowadays may be getting smarter, but they sure are losing some of the coolest features and conveniences!!!

Im just chugging this question out there if anyone knows the answer im gonna be gland and also the devs of Plex as this regards.
I bought plex the other day witch is a video streaming app x-platform witch is good and all, but it has problems with the new gingerbread release i only get a blackscreen when viewing videos and need to resort to a workaround witch is explaind in another post here on xda. The thing is it does work on the old firmware ie android 2.1. My question is what has changed in between the two releases that can affect this? is it DRMs or videodrivers. Im a total noob in the area of coding and such but i want to forward this to the plex devs since the X10 is not the only device with this problem.

Hey all Xperia X10 lovers out there, I dont know about you all but Ive been wondering about the camcorder fix. I see developers constantly coming out with new roms every day, but whose trying to fix the video recording aspect. I mean have the developers given up on it or is it really that hard to fix??? No disrespect to you all because i respect you alot and I love your work and your developments I really am. Im sure im not the only one wondering this so if I missed something please let me know...

It was a solution to my problem at first glance,it provides the feature I was looking for
The problem is:After the camera is focused,it loses the focus that it just made and return to recording in a very unclear mode

Dear people. Some of you may know or heard of my channel (link in signature). So Ive been recording rom reviews, fixes etc for lg g2 which I own. But I kinda run out of ideas I could always record more rom reviews but g2 is my daily driver and I cant keep wiping everything and flashing new roms. And also im not earning anything from youtube so I cant kinda buy another phone or something... I hope you understand. Now I recorded some app reviews but havent got much views on that and I wanted someone to recommend or if you have any problem questions etc I can record that step by step for you to understand. So if you have any ideas I would be more than happy to listen to them.
