Since it was confirmed that the thunderbolt battery fits in the rezound, would something like this work? I had something like it for my incredible and it was so much more convenient to just swap out the batteries.
where did you find the 3 battery deal? i could only find 2 batteries and charger.
When I put my TB battery in my Rezound I received an Exclamation Point in the battery icon. The phone worked but had the error listed. The only thing that I noticed was that the TB was 3.7 and the Rezound battery was 3.8 Volt.
I am holding off buying anymore batteries for this phone till I can verify if it causes issues.
I found it on ebay by typing in "thunderbolt battery".
I found the same thing for the sensation XE 1900mah 3x batteries with charger. I remember seeing in a different thread that the phones use the same battery. Has anyone tried inserting a sensation xe battery into a rezound?

I recently bought a T-Mobile G1 and flashed it to:

I currently have a PowerGen battery, which came with the phone.
I do not have a data plan, so I run with WiFi off & autosync off when not at home, screen at 25% brightness most of the time. The battery takes excessively long to charge when using USB and AC charger (in this case, iPhone charger and a car charger for a GPS which outputs 5v, up to 1.2A IIRC). If I leave it on my bed untouched overnight with the mentioned settings at high battery charge (90%+), it's usually 25% or less when I wake up.
So, I'm thinking to buy an OEM battery. I see a T-Mobile 31463TMR Li-Ion Battery for HTC G1 available on Amazon that seems to have good reviews, as well as a HTC Innovations G1 Google Battery Drea160. Both appear to be OEM products - some received the 31463TMR when bought from a T-Mo store, and I've read Drea160 mentioned here previously. Which one would be the better choice, or is there an extended battery that is well lauded and does not require an extended cover?

Well, I purchased the T-Mobile 31463TMR Li-Ion Battery for HTC G1 from Amazon and it has a "DREA160" part #, and looks fine. It arrived with only a 1% charge, strangely; I'll let it die and recharge to full. I also ordered a replacement back cover and it has the same part number and markings as the original cover. I hope this battery will fare better than the one I was using previously.
How are anker batteries in terms of reliability and can they show correct charge and mah on the phone.Which one from these two anker batteries i should buy.

The reason i planning to buy a battery is that the Motorola battery is being recognized as only 500mah and doesn't show the charge correctly on the battery indicator and stays on 1% all the time.
Its okay. The battery is good but the cover started to break on me in about a month. Sucked.

I would recommend this little package Comes with two 1800's and a nice charger... Just make sure you dont abuse the batteries (i had two in my wallet which i would sit on and such and they got messed up). They are good batteries though... I also recommend letting the batteries run dead then popping the other in, then you can charge the dead battery by putting it in the anker charger. You shouldn't ever have to plug your phone in theoretically.

Just gonna review some of the accessories I have used and what i think about 'em
First up is the 3500mAH extended battery by HHI
This battery came in at a cost of $9.99 with free Shipping! It showed up with an 80% charge which is in the acceptable range of where they like to sit. The battery performs just as one would expect it too. I am currently running MeanRom, and can easily get 16-20 hours of use with some really heavy gaming. However I recently went on a vacation and wanted to run the battery through a couple different variations of "discharging". So with the phone in Airplane mode(no radios connected) and very little use i easily can get a week out of the phone without charging. Again this is without any radios on, not connecting to anything.The stock battery cant touch these numbers. i would be lucky to get a full day out of the stock battery with no gaming and normal use.I didn't do a sticker pull to run the numbers. So I'm taking HHI's word on the 3500mAH being just that.
To conclude on this battery the $10 investment turned out to be a good choice, although it might not be a seidio or something it does more than i expected it to do. I will continue to use this battery till I get rid of the phone. The battery can be found here.

I also bought some of the Galilio "2000mAH" batteries, I got 3 of them with a wall charger for $13.99 on ebay, as reviewed by many others.
This is my experience with them. So they showed up in the mail and upon opening them i discovered one of the batteries look like it got dropped or skipped accross the cement, im not sure what happened, but who is gonna put a messed up battery in their phone.. So i really only got 2 batteries. I brought it up to the seller he offered me $3.00 back, it wasn't worth my time even dealing with that any further at this point. Anyways the batteries Are nice little backup batteries i take with me on trips.They make for easy backup batteries. The batteries have been suspected to be somewhere along the lines of 1000-1200mAH. I would have to agree, even with no testing with any type of tool, besides my phone. They last a most couple of hours. The wall charger that came with them actually surprised me. Everyone was reporting that it may overcharge your stock battery, which can cause some issues. This charger(as pictured below) will charge the Galilio batteries to 100% with no problems. I put my stock HTC battery into the wall charger and with repeated attempts the charger will not charge the battery past 85% even when i left it on the wall charger for 2 days. I do believe that the stock HtC charger that came with the phone gives the batteries a "better" charge, but the wall charger seems to not charge the batteries past a safe range as everyone seems to be reporting as a possible issue. My issue is it doesn't charge it well enough.

The 85% is charge limit is what a cheap charger do,
The "charger" that come with the phone is simply a power supply, the charging circuit is actually "built in" to the phone. You can connect the OEM HTC charger/power supply into one of those cheap aftermarket dock that charge a 2nd battery and it will never charge the battery past 85% either.
To make it short and sweet
There's 2 stage of Li-ion charging
1) charge to 4.2v at constant current which is 85% when it first reach/near 4.2v
2) saturation charge, once the battery reach 4.2v, continue charging but at gradually reducing current until it reach about 3% of default charge current
Cheap charger have a simple/cheap circuit and cannot do stage 2 charging, where the charging circuit built into each phone would do stage 2 charging

I've had my GNote since March 2012 and recently I've had some problems with it. Starting about a week ago, the phone would shut down randomly at any battery percentage and boot back up with NO power (it would say 0 or 1% battery then die again). I've tried switching ROMs (from JellyBean Sandwich to SkeletonKey), but nothing seems to be helping, which makes me think it's a problem with the battery itself. If this happens, I can take the battery out for a couple minutes then put it back in and it will work, but then it will happen all over again. This leads me to believe that it's a problem with maybe the battery heating up? I would appreciate any help with this, thanks!
Sounds like you might want to try a new battery. These batteries don't have a long usage life. 1.5yrs seems to be a common fail point. They are pretty cheap to buy on eBay.
Does your battery get hot quickly?
Does your battery appear to be a little fatter or thicker than normal?

That's kind of what I was thinking. I was going to hold off and tough it out because I'm upgrading to Moto X next week, but I think I'm going to keep this device to use as a music player since it has the SD Card slot.
Definitely gets pretty hot when using, but it kind of always has. Maybe a little quicker now.
Not sure about the battery. Can't be a good judge of it, but maybe it's a little swollen?

My batteries (the OEM from purchase & an aftermarket) both started to fail at approximately 18 months. The aftermarket had the same symptoms you describe; the OEM just wasn't providing as long a life as I liked. First I tried an oversize extended life battery, but I didn't like the size and the cheap plastic humpback. I then bought two Anker 2700mAh batteries & a charger on eBay for about $30. All is now well again, with great performance and battery life. I selected the Anker batteries because they fit in the Note without the bulk of the extended back that larger batteries require.
One point about the Anker batteries I discovered; they do not work with the Samsung OEM charger due to polarity, you must have the universal type charger such as comes with the Anker batteries in order to charge outboard of the Note. Onboard charging with the OEM USB data/charging cable is not a problem.

Thank you, I actually did just go ahead and purchase a new battery, but it was the 2750mAh Ravpower that Shayne mentioned. Just popped it in last night and it definitely seems like my rebooting problems are gone. Fully charged it and it will receive the true test of battery life today at work.
Hello guys... I'm having a major problem with my battery not taking a charge or just being stubborn.
I used multiple chargers and the phone refuses to charge. It discharges even though it says it's charging and it mounts via USB with no issues and data transfer is faster than ever. I have the OEM stock and the Laza extended battery but the Laza takes much too long and the stock battery won't come back at all because the charger kills it...
This started when I left my extended battery on the charger overnight and it was at maybe 30%. I woke up and it was dead; it wasn't responding to anything unless I pulled the battery and it gave me the blinking orange LED. Any ideas?

Have the same issue. I believe my USB port is coming loose from the board and needs repair or replacement. I tried physically bending bits of the port with the battery removed to mixed success short-term, but now I have trouble just getting data to connect over the cable. Could try to work around the issue by buying a couple of wall chargers for just the battery pack, then circulate between two or three batteries through the day. Used Battery Monitor Widget app to see my device can eat 500 to 1,000 mA an hour, so I got two 500 mAh chargers and spare batteries to keep pace with max drain rate.
Okay, thanks for the recommendation! My Droid MAXX has arrived but my battery is actually doing pretty well right now. It decided to charge overnight but still no luck with the stock. But I still want to use this phone to test ROMs, and it's difficult to do so with the discharged battery. Anyways thanks a lot, I will look into this. Or maybe I could buy another Rezound for cheap or a Thunderbolt (if it works).
