ok cool, did you go into the miui theme guide thread I linked, hockeyfam is really helpful, you should ask in there.
side note: are you on stock miui kernel and with those ICS anims? I was having a bug where the wallpaper when transitiining to/from the homescreen would jump to the right, but I think it's because I'm running anthrax kernel now, how bout you?

Yeah, i checked out that guide, unfortunately, i just don't have the time with my school work and all. i would love to get some pointers for converting cuz i tried once and it was way complicated.
Oh i got those to work last night. i haven't changed the kernel on my MIUI yet. I haven't had that same problem. i can try and flash the kernel over and see what happens. But i had the same problem once with my hero, what i did was start over and wipe the caches twice before flashing the kernel. just out of curiosity, did you boot the rom then flash the kernel or did you flash the kernel right after flashingt he rom?

hockey would help you with the LS, maybe others, if you ask IN THAT THREAD!!! lol
I tried every imaginable flash sequence you could think of, I'm hoping it's the kernel. No need to check for me if you're phone is running how you want, thanks though. Good to know at least that on stock kernel you're NOT having the wallpaper jump right during the fade transition, that's probably my issue.

I feel you haha thanks man.
Yeah good thing the stock kernal works!!! Haha. Unfortunately for the infected series of kernals, I have always felt a string sense of beta in them. I use it on my boot manager ROMs, cm7 and fresh evo. They work well most of the time except I see lots of bugs. Maybe try a different kernel =]

Can I flash this on top of 8Crazy Black Frost? I haven't seen a 'revert' flashable and don't really want to have to flash the entire ROM again.

Crazy Black replaces a lot of elements that this theme does not. So you could flash it but parts of Crazy Black will be left over. Like the boot screen and shutdown Screen etc.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Can u make an orange theme just like this one?
WOW WOW WOW!! LOL!! Man you're a hell of a themer. I appreciate you stepping in and helping me out. I needed this!! Check your pm.
so to get the full effect of this theme should I reflash the Toxic 8 rom? cause I too have the 8Crazy Black Frost theme already flashed.

If you can chill until later on tonight when I get home to my PC, I'll upload it for you if no one else already has.
Edit: Sorry but the file is too big for XDA and I don't have a dropbox. Might want to try again. I just downloaded it a few weeks ago, so not sure why the link doesn't work.
i just went back from miui to toxic , i'll give it a try
Im gonna try this theme later

How to go back to stock ROM

I flashed a new ROM (Alien) and am having issues. Unfortunately I forgot to to a nandroid backup before flashing.
Is there a way to go back to stock? Or a CWM flashable .zip available anywhere?
Thanks!!!

Me too..I was having issues with Alien too and I went back to stock!
What issues were you guys having with Alien? I've seem to not run across any as of yet. It is smooth. So I'm curious.
I was having force close issues, 3g would have problems connecting so I had to reboot often, and the 1% battery increment mod didnt work. I really appreciate everyones hard work with the roms..but I think that I just want to wait...im pretty happy on stock rom for now.

The only problem I have had was the 1% on the battery. Otherwise ROM has worked great for me.

Yeah, I'm not sure why I was having FC issues. I followed everything to a T. Also on another post I had about the Homescreen, I had a FC that made it really messed up looking like:

So that's why I stopped using the ROM and went back to stock. Seriously though, I think the devs out there and themers are doing a great job. I wish I had some time and dedication to learn it myself! Maybe someday...
Yeah. That doesn't look quite right.

[Boot & Down Animation] S glow CWM Flashable

I was looking for boot animations in the GS2 International section and found this glowing one made by janis605 Original thread. I found the down animation in Villain 3.0 and made a CWM install package.
What you get is the Glowing S animation when booting up and when you shutdown.

Does this have the startup and shutdown sounds?
I did exactly as instructed but no go on my SGSII. Anyone have any suggestions as to why flashing the zip did noting? I did not see any errors when flashing btw. Thanks in advance.
Edit: BTW I am running CM7.2.0 RC0 if that even matters.

The problem is this is made for touch wiz roms like unnamed for example. I think I can make a package for CM7, I'll try it in a few hours.

Been having a bit of trouble bringing this over to CM7. I have to convert the img files to PNG and find out why it won't take my script for the boot animation. Been busy with work but ill give it some love on the weekend ;-)

Weird.
It could be that you have a corrupted file(s). Have you tried downloading the files again?
Also, from where are you downloading the files? If you're downloading using your phone, you might want to try downloading using a PC.
As you might have noticed, this thread had 7 posts only in over a year.. That alone should let you know the quality of the rom.
Try FroyoPro. It's bug-free.

Finally, my brother showed up. Yeah he's right. I was just searching roms as I like to test roms that's it.

How to get the ICS lock screen.

Just posting it for all the new people that didnt know. I havent seen it mentioned yet in the threads. We used to do this to get back to the original android slide to unlock screen. Turns out it still works.
Use what ever app you chose, I use Root Explorer. Navigate to /system/app and rename htclockscreen.apk to htclockscreen.bak.
Then reboot for changes to take effect.
Changing apk to bak is preferred over deleting in case you want the lockscreen back all you have to do is rename.
moving the unlock icon over to the camera does not work. So you can only unlock.

I just made this change on my GB based ROM and it worked great. My last phone was a Nexus One so I miss the stock Android experience. Thanks for the tip.
Just an FYI to everyone, you will need to unlock your phone before answering calls. This is the only real draw-back to removing the htc lockscreen. If you set up a pin/facelock/pattern this will be really annoying, if not, it's only a matter of sliding the lock to the right =)
Does anyone know if the HTC lockscreen has been removed from Senseless ROM?
This may be a stupid question, but is it possible to port the ICS lockscreen to an unlocked GB by just replacing the file? Or will it cause space and time to implode in upon itself?

Since it's part of the O/S rather than an installed app, it can't be pulled out. It can probably be duplicated by someone that knows how to create lockscreens.
You might be interested in trying out " go locker"

This is awesome! I did this and i'm on ICS Sense Redefined and both the camera and the lock work! Thanks for the tip!
Would this cause any issues with Sense FCing? What about when getting a call, I take we have to unlock just to answer it?
