Cincinnati Bell Commtiva N700 Splash & Boot Image - Viewsonic ViewPad 7 & Variants

I recently flashed my Cincinnati Bell Commtiva N700 from the stock ROM to another found here. I decided to go back and reflashed to the ROM I backed up before trying the new one. However, the restore did not restore the original Boot Logo nor Splash Screen.
Does anyone out there have a CBW N700 and can I get a copy of those two items to put them back on my device? That or a pointer to someplace where it might be found?
Thanks for any help you can lend.

HELP!! problem after flashing stock rom

Hi,
Please help!!
Being a noob to Android. I have made a big mistake and flash OTA_Hero_HTC_WWE_3.32.405.1_R-2.73.405.93 using the clockwork recovery. now the clockwork recovery is gone there and the phone does not boot pass the HTC logo.
I did a search and found that I can make a gold card and flash any stock rom back onto the phone. but I don't have a gold card and I have no phone to make one.
so does anyone have the official RUU for the Australian GSM Hero? I think can extract the rom.zip from it and flash that by holding down the Volume down and the power without needing a gold card.
otherwise does anyone know of another way to get the phone working again?
Moved to Q&A as not development.
Nevermind. I managed to find the Australian RUU and re flashed back to factory.
All good now

[Q] Telus 4G Bootloop help!

Folks,
I have a Telus Fascinate 4G and I recently downloaded an app that changes icons *yeah I know* and now I'm stuck in a bootloop.
Device:
Rooted, but no CWM or Custom Rom
I can get into recovery mode but ODIN can't update the device for some reason, it just hangs there - although ODIN does see the device.
Thoughts?
Update: Telus gave me a new device It was a quick swap.

Bricked Vibrant

I got myself a bricked Vibrant from someone and trying to fix it.
I'm guessing the dude tried to flash captivate stuff on it, because the boot image is AT&T.
Anyway, I was able to odin back to stock 2.1, which seemed to make the power button work again because it would start up and show the AT&T logo but that's it.
Then I tried odin'ing a vibrant bootloader, which got me to replace the AT&T logo with a green andy logo, but same thing, stuck.
So I tried reflashing 2.1 with odin again. Now the boot logo is back to the stock i9000 > Vibrant, but then it stops here. I can't seem to be able to enter the 2e(or 3e?) stock recovery.
Any idea on what else I can try flashing to it?
Update: I tried flashing the froyo bootloader, which did get me to the stock recovery, but again - i can't seem to get this phone past this stage, doesn't boot into the OS.

So what is your desired ROM after flash?
I suggest that you should flash it to LidDroid with Vibrant bootloader. From that, you can upload the phone to 2.3, 3.0 or ICS 4.0 ROM.
On mobile now so I cannot giive you the download links for needed files. If you need them, just post a reply in the thread.
Thanks, I tried LidDroid

And flashed Froyo and GB bootloaders, nothing is working. It just shows boot screen then still shuts down.
Update: Well I'm not sure what the issue is, I was able to get it to boot to the lock screen once, but then it shut down right after. Now I can only get it back to boot image before shutting down.
The thing I noticed is that the phone gets hot really fast, so maybe it's drawing too much power somewhere and its shutting down as a protection. Also the stock batteries don't seem to work for it, just this particular battery that it came with, which the contacts on the battery are flush with the edge of the battery instead of indented like the stock ones.
What you should do is take out your sim card and external sd card if you have one, use odin to flash back to stock rom (either 2.1 or 2.2), wait for it to load up as it might take a few minutes after you see the Vibrant logo (just be patient). If you get this far and you see the operating system, flash clockwork recovery on it.
If you can get this far, let us know then we'll talk about custom roms. The main purpose now is to get it running stock, we can worry about the custom stuff later.

[Q] HELP! Wont boot or hboot

Rooted my phone, installed a custom rom and ran that for a few weeks so I have successfully installed 1 rom. Tried a different rom since and it wouldn't get past boot screen.
Tried reflashing the boot.img file still no joy.
Now it wont boot to the boot screen OR hboot.
The power light LED is on constantly, even when not being charged
Phone: HTC One S
1st Custom rom :Cyanogen
2nd Custom rom: Stock LITE from a link on another thread. (Unfortunately I can't post links because I am too new)
I am in the UK so am I right to assume that I have the S3 version not S4 version? Could trying to put a S4 rom on an S3 phone have caused my problem?
Any ideas?

Samsung s5 stuckat white t-mobile screen after flashing stock rom

So I was on a custom rom for a while and I decided to flash it back to stock to give the phone to my mom. However when I flash it back to stock PK1 (downloaded from sammobile and confirmed both the phone and file are for G900T) it doesnt go pst the white t-mobile screen. you can hear the chime for t-mobile but nothing more. It's weird because the stock recovery is on the phone instead of twrp and it works perfectly fine. If I put twrp back on and reflashed the custom rom (popwiz) the phone will boot fine. Anybody have any idea what it could be?
and RIP as soon as i post this thread the phone boots out of no where after days of hassle and struggle
this thread can be deleted. Sorry!
