looking for photo icons - Wildfire Themes and Apps

Hey,
I'm looking for photo icons (2x1, 3x1, 2x1, 1x2, ...) to use with desktop visualizer. I have so far found these two only (and a few that I seemed to have roaming my PC):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=783946
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9139570#post9139570
But I would like some more as I don't fully like them and want to see more.
I'd prefer icons with text on them, but I don't have photoshop to do it myself (let alone that I can work with it).
If anybody has a link to a set, that would be greatly appreciated. I googled but I could not find any, perhaps I am using the wrong key words?
Cheers!

There are a few more here;

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11231936&postcount=454

Thanks a lot Those look great. Sadly the text is a bit blurred from resizing it to wildfire size.
I might give making them myself a shot. Does anybody know the optimal resolution for 3x1 and 2x1 wildfire icons? (so that there would be a small space between nearby icons)

Anybody that can tell me the resolutions? I would think just 3/4 the wildfire width resolution, but perhaps there is a standard for these kinds of things that I don't know (with desktop visualiser etc)
Cheers

Wallpaper to mimic Hero/ TF3D2.6 Clock

I have searched all over the web, and have not come up with results I am looking for. I am looking for a wallpaper that will make the standard TF3D wallpaper look like the hero/ TF3D2.6 clock. I am actually using S2U2 with the Hero Theme, however that wallpaper does not look right. if anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.
Well as far as having the 2.6 clock with the integrated weather that's not available ATM but! Here's a link to a panoramic Hero wallpaper http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4330384&postcount=14
And a link to 2.6 icon set for the slider: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547029
Best things available right now without actually switching to a different shell like MS3 and getting a layout like this: http://pocketnow.com/software-1/get-sense-ui-on-windows-mobile
MS3 is very nice and while I've tried this layout and it works well, its at the cost of battery life, that's already not so great on my TP.
Hope this helps bro

thanks for the quick reply, howeve I allready have the wallpaper I am looking for a way to have one work the way the one for s2u2 does with the black square so that it looks like the hero/ tf3d2.6 clock. I also have the icons allready as well which look great. I am also looking for a way to have the wallpaper i am looking for on the home screen and then the standard hero wallpaper on the others.
Does anyone have any ideas on mabey how to photoshop a wallpaper that will work. I have some knowledge with photoshop, however I dont know how to line the black box in the right spot to do it myself.

[REQ] Photo widget

I have searched high and low for a widget similar to the stock widget that will
a) display images in a sideshow, and
b) allow me to set the size of the widget.
I've seen a lot that will do one, but not the other, and the ones that CAN do both have a HUGE frame. I just want a simple, plain (stock-like) frame.
I don't know how, or I would make one myself.
The future looks so... Vibrant
I was kind of surprised the stock one wasn't a slide show...

[Q] Create Transparent Images

Hello all...
I've looked around and can't find anything to help me out, but I know this can be done. I have Luncher Pro Plus and have a dock background that i would love to see fully. To do this, I need transparent dock images, but don't want the stock ones that came with Launcher Pro. I would love to create my own, but don't know what file type to save as or how exactly to go about this. I know it can be done as the stock Launcher Pro ones are transparent! I have Corel PaintShop available to use as well as drawing software (CAD). So I can draw practically anything I want and save it to any format I want. I just don't know the process of making a white image with a black background to have a transparent background.
To put it this way; I want essentially my dock background (which is nearly solid black) to have a drawn outline of the phone, person, boxes, message, world (see attached image)... no gradient filler like on Launcher Pro ones.
If anyone can point me to a tutorial I am missing somewhere, or simply let me know how to do this, It would be greatly appreciated!! I'm trying to customize my phone and what better way to do it than with completely custom images!!!!
you have to save it as png or gif file (I recommend png, it's higher quality). I use photoshop so I don't know how to do it on corel, this is what a quick google search turned up: http://www.axialis.com/tutorials/tutorial-misc002.html
PS: an image with the grey and white squares as a background while in corel means there's no background (transparent)
http://launcherpro.droidicon.com/tutorials/how-make-launcherpro-dock-style-icon-106
I also found... It took me a while playing with corel but I figured it out!! I love having icons that no one else has.... I would recommend everyone playing around with custom icons!
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
GIMP works very well to edit these images. I have photoshop CS5 for everyday use at work, but when I edit anything in the framework, I use GIMP. Its free, just google it.

[REQ] Scrolling photo gallery widget

I am looking for the following that I haven't been able to find by searching:
-Widget with different sizes
-Widget will automatically slideshow from selected drawers at a set interval (with random as option)
-You can scroll through the photos by swiping, preferrably seamless (with the help of a launcher that allows scrollable widgets I guess) so you can scroll really quick
-Clicking a picture will bring you its source
Would this be possible (or is there such a widget already)?
I have not found anything like this but would love to have it.
Would like this also... thought i'd 'bump' the short thread.

Great idea.. Whoever decides to jump on board should test with one of the new 7 inch tablets as well.. Having extra screen estate means bigger thumbnails for Widgeez especially anything picture related.
Multi Picture Live Wallpaper does more or less what you want.
You can have an empty screen and cycle the background.
Obviously not a widget, but it comes close to what you want.
(can't yet add the link for you unfortunately)
I know exactly what you might be looking for...
I had a "Sony Xperia Arc LT15a" on gingerbread.. and it had a scrolling gallery widget where the pictures shuffled in folder order when you touch the widget and I cant find it anywhere. If anyone can find anything similar msg me please!
If you haven't already you should definitely check this out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1857493
Its good but what I'm really looking for is simply an automatic slideshow version of the stock android photo gallery widget. I like the way it stacks the photos, shows them in high res and responds to flicking through them - I just wish it would animate automatically!
I need slide widget 'xperia style' too. Is it present?
Up!

[Q] oversized backround picts on gtab

Okay been running tnt two taps for about a week ive noticed that when using a non live walpaper it is streched and oversized cant seam to find a fix for this did see it was happening on the nook color but nothing on gtab. anyway anyone know of a fix for this thanks t.krein
Any ideas live wallpapers work just fine
Well when you set a wallpaper the tablet usually stretches it to fit all four panes on the classic home(when you slide left and right). Try to use one that's more landscape, I forget the actual resolution, and see if it looks any better
anyone know the solution to this this have been a problem on most roms that ive tested on
yes i used both 1024x600 and 1024x1024 and even started to use high res so it would look so pixelated

Quickpics (might be quickpix, can't remember, and tablet is off right now or I'd check) has been the best app I've found for setting background images. What needs ot be remembered for all image apps is that the wallpaper is NOT centered vertically in landscape mode, which most of us use regularly. SO, when cropping an image, you must put the "center" a bit higher than center...the best way I can illustrate this is that if you are using a completely black background with a red "X" in the middle, when cropping, position the "X" in about the top 1/3rd of the crop box...it will then be "centered" when you view the desktop wallpaper. Quickpics tends to not resize it like other apps do. Similar app is Wallaby (but it's finicky sometimes, depending on the image used.
The reason our "phones" resize and crop the images it to allow for better viewing in portrait mode...simple as that.
