I lose my data connection constantly. Pages won't load unless I toggle mobile data at least 5x a day. My market app is also not loading often unless I go into settings and force it to close, then re-open. My camera also locks up a lot. Sometimes my home screen even holds that 3d aura after using the camera sometimes.
Anyone else run into these issues?

I seem the camera issue once but not the data problems you might need to reprogram the phone, or take it to the sprint store
If you don't have an Evo3d well you don't have an Evo3d
It is pretty annoying to have to toggle mobile data damn near every time I use the web.

I've noticed that with the power saving settings enabled (can't remember exactly what it's called) it takes a little bit to reconnect to data (like it automatically turns it off when not in use). It might be related to that if you have that on. But I don't have that problem. Only related problems I have are the camera freezing/locking up (but mostly on other camera apps rather than the stock - but still on stock here and there) and the delay in turning off the 3d screen mode.
You arent the only one having problems, I have posted something similar in the Android central forums. I've noticed the signal to be weaker than on the evo 4G and the 4G signal drops a lot more and I have to manually reconnect it.
I have tested this both at work and at home where I used to get a good signal.
I have tried everything except a factory reset, which I may try this weekend but even then according to others that have tried this, that's still only a temporary fix.
I have also done a prl and software update, turned the phone off then on again and finally took it into a sprint store. They ran their diagnostic programs and found no issues. The thing is, one of the sprint reps also owned a 3D and had the same issue. None of them could figure out what was wrong.
I have emailed HTC and bothered them on Twitter but the response I got was basically "sorry you are having problems, try a factory reset".
I am past my 30 day exchange and I'm not paying for a repair. I don't know what else to do.

Dude ur not the only one my pages hang daily also phone rattles its ass of when typing and with a slight shake u can hear it inside the phone . Takin It to sprint today.
I've seen the camera freeze on my last 3D..this one I have now has not done it once! I'd swap it out if your having this problem. Go to another store to do a swap, hopefully their stock is from a different lot!
Hitraj47, that stuff should still be covered under the one year warranty.
I don't really have the time, or even want to deal with going into a sprint store. I know I'll hear the "factory reset" answer, and still have the same issue when I leave.
My og evo would hardly ever roam. My 3d roams a lot more.

Mine roams all the time, and plays my default notification whenever it switches to insure that I pull it out of my pocket and look at it for no reason. I'm also having the wonderful issue that seems to be common over at androidforums.com, with the default music player constantly skipping when I have it plugged up with the 3.5mm to my car. No issues with the camera, yet. All in all I love the phone and I'm not going to move to any other device. Just want this silly stuff fixed. It's only the beginning with these things, everything will eventually get worked out.
I don't play my music through earphones but I do through the car. I thought the music skipping was because of google music beta. I have not experienced the skipping in Pandora or anything else.
It will only skip once though so I don't get annoyed.

Also I have the data problems also... And how is your 30 days up...earliest you could have gotten it was the 21st I thought...

I signed up for sprint because I switched from tmo to sprint for a $125 service credit. The promo ended 23rd which was a day before the 3D came out so I signed up before with an evo 4g and then used my 30 day swap to get the 3D (paid the difference, on contract price)

I have this problem with my new Galaxy S3. I searched the Internet, and found someone with the same problem. The thread is quoted here:
My folders are opening on their own
If I wake the phone, or close an app, my games folder opens by itself. This also happened with my news folder, I thought it had been a problem with a news app in the folder so I deleted it. But now it's the games folder ! Is this down to an app conflict ? As far as I can see it happens randomly, not triggered by something I'm doing. I thought it might be something to do with automatically opening regularly accessed folders but it's not consistent.

It happens to me as well sometimes folders on ny home screen are open after closing apps or returning to home screen. I think it is a bug which will be fixed soon.

I dont think it will be fixed, because i contacted Samsung today, and they wasn't aware of the bug. So we need more people to contact Samsung, to tell them about this.

You may be right about that.
But how can we users tip the developer department about bugs?
There is also the bug where the notification sounds is played by the speaker, even if the head phones is plugged in.
And i don't know if this is a software bug, but i also get very LOW sound when the head phones are plugged in. Can easily hear the noise from outside when having the volumen at max and listening to music/radio/what ever.
Reporting in. Got the bug here too. Games folder will randomly open when I quit an app / return to the home screen. It's intermittent and rare but slightly annoying.

Same bug....but I did a factory reset and it was fine.....but we can't always do a factory reset to solve bugs.....Samsung people ..plz we need updates on bugs...

Folder's opening on their own
I have had this on every iteration of the firm available in the UK (BTU). Not experienced it on any other launcher. I would use Apex full time but I have weird widget size problems which is even more annoying.

This happens to me as well. It's always the Games folder. I tried renaming that, thinking that it has to do somehow with it's name. Also, maybe we can trace it back to some of the games inside. Mine are:
Real Racing 2
Angry Birds Space
Zynga Poker
Asphalt 7
888 Poker
So let me know if any of you experimenting this has one of those in the Games folder. Thanks guys!

Well let me start of by saying i bought my galaxy s3 a few weeks ago and up until recently i loved it.
It was super fast i could use it like a mini tablet i absoulty loved this phone,but a few days ago i encoutered a small problem with s voice androids form of suri. Now this problem is kinda strange so i will explain in steps what is happening.
Ok first every 2 hours on the dot s voice pops up and asks me what im wearing and tells me the weather outside is hot and hummid it also tells me that a cold front is moving in.....
When i turn my phone off it wakes itself up and s voice says i need to stop playing hard.
Then well the big problem it starts telling me its gonna do bad things to me and it was me to do things to it.
so why am i having this problem and what can i do to fix it?

my galaxy s3 has not and is not likely sexualy harrased me s voice has never given me wrong information on the weather.
anyways this thread is about all the crazy rumors you guys have heard on other websites and youtube about the new s voice or the new g3.

So I've had my DNA for about 3 hours. Messing with camera screen went black and phone froze had to reboot. Now messing with Netflix same thing only didn't have to reboot. Anyone else seeing any issues like this?

Not much installed. Just what came on it right now plus about 3-4 more apps mostly forum apps. If it continues I am going to return it.
I should add the camera lockup was using the front facing camera with the smile detection option enabled. It acted like it was going to shoot and I moved it then it just went black and I had to reboot.
Just did Netflix again and black screen like it just doesn't want to load.

Mine does freeze quite often when I am using the stock Sense photo editor...and when it doesn't freeze, it just lags constantly.

Had mine since launch and have only seen this once - yesterday while using Handcent.
Haven't been able to reproduce camera freezing however Netflix still shows just a black screen quite often. Force stopping through settings fixes it. Tempted to think its an app problem not a phone problem.

guys, this camera screen freeze.. does the screen fade out to black? i get that problem when clicking the gallery icon after taking a picture sometimes... but I just shut the screen off and turn it back on and it's fine.

my wife got the DNA, since I'm very happy with my GNex and all the fine ROM's I was able to test drive.
Now I was not planning to do anything to the DNA, since it becomes my issue at that very moment, when anything weird is happening to the wife's DNA. Some may relate...
For the past week or so she has been complaining that the phones hangs for 10-30 seconds in various applications.
- Words with Friends, in app, just dragging a letter onto the board
- Messages, just opening a particular thread
- Settings, opening different menus within settings, like apps or even About
- Home Screen, swiping to the left or right... you have to wait until it moves, sometimes you see it kind of inching to the left or right...
- other places throughout the phone
Now the phone is operating mainly in Wifi mode when she is around the house, due to the preservation of data in my share everything plan.
When she operates the phone from the kitchen, she is borderline reception, even so the DNA shows 1-2 bars of wifi. By the way a lot better then any other phone I have had, even my old trusty DroidX, which I thought had the best reception (wifi) of all.
This behavior is not 100% reproducible and I can't really get the exact analysis data from my wife, when she is already frustrated... Also I don't know a lot about Sense and wonder if that might be the issue.
Just now reading a little here to see if there are already custom ROM's out there either addressing the issue or getting rid of Sense all together and making the DNA more a natural Android 4.2 phone.

Sounds like a lemon, I would take it back and exchange it for a new one.

If I were you I'd take that phone back to Verizon. None of that should be happening.
It maybe there is a rogue app causing it. But I've never had it hang, ever.

Hi all, so I purchased the tablet last December, shut Downs haven't been an issue until about 3 weeks ago .this thing went from every shut down every 3 or 4 days to 2 to 3 shut downs a day. If seems every time I have wifi on and use Bluetooth earphone and movie player app it will cause it to freeze and shut down. From what I understand this problem is present on pretty much every single xts, why can't we have a class action on this issue. I know the Nissan 350z owners had one because rare tires wore out too fast, if they can do that, I think the issue of frequent shut downs definitely justify a class action

I remember sony playstation put into agreement that can't do class action lawsuit against sony.
I don't known if their such agreement surounding tablets also, but i'm in for class action lawsuit if their gonna be one.
They say'd they where gonna fix this issue in jelly bean, then they pulled this post.

I started a petition against slow updates and issues not just for xperia tablet s alone but also against smartphones and their issues.
sony often promises to release update shortly after launch which is all marketing BS, then fail to update on time which pissed me off.

I rarely ever have this issue try using a different movie app (MX player), even watching videos on YouTube stopped crashing my xts and occasionally I steam Netflix with no issue. Slow updates are a pain for the xts since it's not really dev friendly but if you really want updates on the phone just flash a new rom it isn't that hard, plenty of people in the dev community will fix things as long as they have time.

when you watch videos from browser you usualy can't.........
Also the issue exist in any app yes even mx player can trigger it because its issue with memory management.
It's not about the player app, I tried the stock one, mx, thunder, you name it, the app would freeze if I exit the app using the multi task button then go back again, the player would freeze then the xts shuts down, it seems to have something to do with Bluetooth, another way to cause shut down for me is having a streaming app running in the background then use the small app widget browser, sometimes it shuts down streaming music via Bluetooth as well, 2 to 3 shut downs a day is excessive!

bluetooth has nothing to do with it, if had bluetooth headset and their was time i did't have bluetooth headset.
nothing did change with rate of shutdowns.
Their some bugs that bluetooth manages to break wifi internet just don't work untill you disable wifi and re enable it verry anoying.
I don't know what to tell you guys I haven't had the same issue, the only time that my xts force shut downs is either over a long charge or when I'm hooking the tablet to a tv via hdmi even then it's rare. I've streamed hours and hours of video and even music without any fault even through Bluetooth.

Shutdowns are triggered from watching movies especialy doing from browser youtube apps or similar apps give issues.
the videos just overload ram never clears up so it ends up randomly shutting down either on playing another video.
Or loading another app while ram is bassicly only having like 1% room.
You can't clear up the ram thats loaded into ram either from watching video's will remain in ram.
No issues with shutdowns either on my tablet.
Only concern is screen flicker.
Those that have no shutdowns tough what region are you from ?
Xperia z had or has this issue to, but read it was regional issue aka not every region had it.
Anyway if i don't play videos then i don't have shutdowns either tablet get laggy tough after a while.

Had the tablet for about a month and so far watching movies offline with stock app is fine but did have it reboot when watching youtube. The biggest problem seems to be wifi dropping connections, almost always when it is awaken from sleep but also happens times when it is in use. The tablet is US model.
I think class action would be tough, I saw the petition and signed it and people was not enthusiastic even for something so simple. I wonder if we can focus efforts on getting them to unlock the bootloader, its only going to reduce headaches for them and get people off their backs if the devs can figure out a fix. Probably would be better for sales too.

started updates not for xperia tablet s alone or tablet s but more off global issue the slow updates.
its mostly android team from sony that holds back these devices.
The reason probably only happends online is because off the demuxer and its purpose sony has to limit memory for it to 1 video at a time, because its keeps loading up more more without clearing old data.

figure most people gotten tired off waiting and managed to get refund after replacing unit did't work.

That might be due some apps you installed did't have before.
Check batery page in settings.
Mine fluctate depending on settings but remained pretty normal with different settings.
The wifi issues with this tablet makes you need to install advanced wifi lock to this also drains more battery.
