XDA App - Motorola Photon 4G

So I pretty much am a loss. I logged back into my XDA account on my phone as I usually have to after I haven't been on it for a few hours. And I go into participated and nothing shows up. Says I've been involved in 0 threads. Yet my post count and all that is accurate. Not sure what's up. Ideas?

My participated tab is also empty! I had at least 5 or 10 in there

Same here!

No results when I search anything either....
Sent from my SGH-I997 using xda premium

Yeah. I had 247 threads I had participated in. So hm. Maybe it's a hiccup with the XDA app. You guys are all on Photons? Or?
Edit...
Nevermind, looks like one is a Galaxy, and the other not sure. But it's happening on multiple phones apparently.

My thanks on mobile is higher then when logging on via computer. I am writing a list of issues with app. Problem is idk who to send it to.
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium

On the mobile. I believe it's the number of thanks you have given out, when you view your profile, if that is what you're talking about.

Yo buddy, same issues here...oh well!

That's the only thing I could think of.
KT, No worries Bud! **** happens. Guess it's just the app for the time being!

It says I have no participated threads also.

It's fixed now. Not sure why.

The official Support Email Address for the "XDA-Developers Application" & the "XDA Premium Application" is [email protected], that is assuming that they will even respond or help fix any issues.
Or, I want to report a technical problem with the XDA Forums or Portal.
Or, I have an issue that needs immediate attention.
Remeber, help is only a "THANKS BUTTON" away!

I clicked I have an issue that needs immediate attention, and wrote,
"I have urgent issues with the XDA Application, and I am a Premium user, I have been emailing "[email protected]" which is the email address listed in the Android Market for months, with no response.
Who do I contact to get these issues adressed. I paid for the application, now HELP myself and the rest of the users at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1359070"

Okay guys, the XDA user: Svetius, (Link To His Profile Posted), is the User Experience Administrator.
Contact him with your issues with the XDA Premium and XDA-Developers Application, and any website issues.

Speaking of this issue. Anyone have issues with their tablets fc on XDA?

I have the weirdest story: there's times when i reboot my phone and i don't even see the XDA app anymore. Its almost like it deletes itself or something is removing it. I simply just go back into titanium and restore it but I swear that sucker disappears sometimes and i know for a fact I'm not deleting it.

That is very odd.

And that is why you drive the short bus. J/K. I had the same issue, took me like a week to find "simple" view. Even sent tapatalk a nasty email that they NEVER replied to about it. So, I'm excited the app FINALLY supports thanks, but I will leave my low-star rating on the market since tapatalk most likely still has its head stuffed securely up its own ass. Even a busted clock is right twice a day.
Fuhq tapatalk.

xda-developers forum app

I see that other people are posting from their NTs ... is there a trick to getting the xda app to work? I can sign in, but whenever I attempt to open a thread, it force-closes. I've cleared data and un/reinstalled, and still have this problem.
Thanks in advance,

Try the Forum Runner app as well... it is definitely faster and better than XDA App..
Premium works flawlessly but if you dont want to buy it, I don't think you will be willing to buy tapatalk premium :|

Lookout mobile security on Photon Q 4G LTE blowing up?

Every so often when I'm doing different things i see lookout fc. Haven't been able to narrow it down yet. Anyone else seeing this? Trying to determine if its hardware or software conflict seeing as the Q just came out.

Don't know if you noticed but you're in the wrong device forum.. lol. Anyway it might be a software conflicting with something.

Pretty sure photon q doesn't have a dedicated forum yet so people are just backpacking on us for a while. We had to do this for a bit before they gave us photon users a dedicated forum.
But to respond to your question.. there was a recent study done of the reliability and effectiveness of android anti viruses. Lookout actually ranked pretty low. The one that came in first place out of the 20 tested was Kaspersky's mobile version. Perhaps try it out and see if it works better for you.
Acvice, I see your point but I think it would still make more sense to post in the right forum so that other members could benefit. Just sayin lol.. OP you don't have a tasker running do you?

Unable to send MMS (consistently)

Hi all. I recently rooted my phone and installed a Liquid Smooth Cyanomod version of Jelly Bean (4.1.3 I believe) and have been unable to properly send MMS texts since. I can send to myself and receive almost instantly but the best arrival time I've received so far is 7 minutes, with another at over 90 and most of them being sent from my phone but not ever arriving at the target phones. I'm with Rogers and have attempted several different APN layouts without success. I've searched everywhere but am unfortunately unable to post my findings thus far. If you have a set up that is proven to work for you or even just speculate at an answer please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Sensless Rule?

Hi,
I need 10 posts to report a bug in dev section, this seems for me pretty sensless >_>?
Instead of complaining about the initial posts you need to post outside of general, you could always create a thread in general explaining the bug and somebody else could report it for you. Alternatively, you can also pm the dev of the software you have a bug on.

I'm not angry, I just think it's a stupid thing to complain about. I don't think the requirement is over the top.
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Could be over the top for you but think if someone is stuck badly and needs to ask for help from a particular ROM's users then he will have to make 10 posts and that too after time intervals. In most cases his first ten posts would be useless just to bypass that restriction.

Why could this person not pm the dev directly?
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Because developer alone cannot solve everyone's problems and pm are not liked by all the developers. A problem can be better solved by community together rather than a single developer who may or may not read the pm for days whereas atleast few members on thread will in some hours.
Sent from my LT26ii using xda app-developers app
I find most devs to be pretty responsive, and I doubt the rule will ever change because it does more good than bad. At least you must be quite a bit closer to your 10 posts thanks to this thread.
