[Q] Possibly bricked? fastboot stuck - Optimus One, P500, V General

I've already tried this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088046&highlight=fastboot
It all started when i told my friend to flash Clockwork recovery so he could get a custom rom. and he flashed it, it said
fastboot mode started
udc_start()

I already tried the guide, I had to use PDANet drivers because fastboot wouldnt work.

That's the error I got..
Any solution for this?
Also, why am i breaking a rule for posting a question? There is no question section..

Now here is where my problem is there is no recovery on my phone now and when i try and do a fastboot in the cmd for my phone it will not write the Amon Ra recovery file. I now get this.
C:\Android\sdk-tools>fastboot flash boot boot.img
sending 'boot' (3896 KB)... OKAY [ 0.814s]
writing 'boot'... FAILED (remote: not allowed)
finished. total time: 1.130s

So your trying to flash it as a boot.img? Amon Ra should be flashed as fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. Also if your on stock HBoot i think you need a modified HBoot for fastboot commands or unlocked eve on S-Off
sorry should have been

Do you have a stock HBoot? if so i think it has to be unlocked for fastboot commands even on s-off unless you have a modified Hboot that allows for fastboot commands while locked.

Well if your bootloader is locked i would unlock it or get a modified bootloader that allows fastboot commands while locked. If those dont work then youll have to ask a dev
somehow i didnt even notice that was locked. ok got recovery on. now going to try and get a rom on it. with all this headache i almost miss my GNex but it has tons of issues

[Q] P760 Bootloop

Hi,
my P760 is in a boot loop since yesterday. When it starts, the LG logo comes up and then it reboots again and again.
I tried the recovery option with the LG Tools, but after flashing the V20H-ROM, the bootloop is still there.
What can i do?
Thx
Mirko76
Today i tried fastboot and reflashed the bootloader:
Code:
sending 'x-loader' (384 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.200s]
writing 'x-loader'...
FAILED (remote: partition does not exist)
finished. total time: 0.210s
sending 'u-boot' (1024 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.530s]
writing 'u-boot'...
OKAY [ 0.210s]
finished. total time: 0.740s
Done
What does "partition does not exist" mean? is it dead?

After flash stock rom, did you try to hard reset your phone? http://www.hard-reset.com/lg-optimus-l9-p760-hard-reset.html
Yes, but without success.

There're many boot loop thread in L9 forum, please search for it. You can try this one first http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40423549&postcount=2
I tried a lot of possibilities to repair the bootloop, but nothing helped.
I flashed the ICS Bootloader and flashed an ICS Rom with the offline method, but after Flash the boot Loop is still there.
A hard reset doesnt help.

Boot loop still there after flash kdz and hard reset! Strange. Flash kdz should restore factory rom and hard reset is remove all user data. What did you do before get that boot loop?
Did you try method in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2411265
I did nothing before the bootloop. The battery was empty and after i plugged in the power supply, the phone was in the boot loop.

It usually means hardware(NAND) failure
i got that same partition does not exist error when i was trying to flash the wrong xloader and uboot in fastboot. not saying you're flashing the wrong ones, but that maybe it has something to do with fastboot.. ?

Could you have typed partition name incorrectly ? like "fastboot flash xloader..." instead of "fastboot flash x-loader..." ?

i'm fairly certain i did 'x-loader' because i was copying the text in a batch file you wrote. hard to remember exactly. when it happened, reading about possible problem with the phone i got sad inside. if i ever need fastboot again i'll try it through vmware ubuntu install
Im using a fastboot script, so i dont think that the filenames are wrong.
Ok, i give up. I think the phone is dead.

Error Booting CWM

Hi Everyone,
First I apologize if this isn't the right place to post this, please move it to the correct forum if it's not.
I have a Asus TF700 (running the latest Asus firmware) the, warranty just ran out so I figured it was time to unlock and play with some custom roms.
I got it unlocked using the Asus bootloader tool, I went to install CWM using fastboot and it seemed to go OK but then when I went to reboot the bootloader it failed giving me a write failure. Now when I try to boot up recovery it briefly shows the android guy in working mode then goes to the error with the android laying on his back.
Here is my commands with fastboot:
C:\adb>adb reboot bootloader
C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
sending 'recovery' (6688 KB)...
OKAY [ 2.483s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 2.409s]
finished. total time: 4.893s
C:\adb>fastboot reboot-bootloader
rebooting into bootloader...
FAILED (command write failed (Unknown error))
finished. total time: 0.636s
C:\adb>adb reboot bootloader
error: device not found
And that's it, I'm a bit stumped not sure how to fix it so I can move onto installing the roms, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone?
DId you install the Google USB driver?
If don't,please install the Android SDK and install all.

Yes, if I hadn't then I wouldnt have been able to use fastboot or install CWM.
No one? I thought this was the android super stars forum.
Can someone at lease suggest another forum with people willing to help?
Not a single person willing to help me out? Wow, thanks.

Your phone probably tried to update by itself. You should probably use lgup to return to stock since you can get to download mode now. Follow this thread to root. http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-v10/general/step-step-guide-rooting-lg-v10-using-t3382631

Hold volume up and plug in the USB at same time while the phone is off to get to download mode. And did you follow all directions for rooting on marshmallow?

Okay I have pin pointed the problem it's hardware issue it only boots up if the phone is hot What do I do now? As long as the phone is hot it works that's why I couldn't boot recovery download mode. Cause the phone would stop working freeze all the time.:good:

Do you have insurance on it? I think the only thing you can do is replace it since it's a hardware issue.

[SOLVED] Unable to flash any recovery

I have found threads where this was asked too but it didn't get solved or it did but for a specific device.
I have a OPX with OOS 3.1.4
In command prompt typed "fastboot oem device-info" it gives me this info "device unlocked true" typed "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" i named my recovery file "recovery" obviously. i get info
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'recovery' (14758 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.531s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.313s]
finished. total time: 0.844s
but when i reboot to my recovery it is still the stock OP recovery.

after flashing by "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img", boot into recovery directly by giving this cmd "fastboot boot recovery.img" this time it should overwrite your stock op recovery. try this and report back.
I'm assuming your trying to immediately boot into recovery after flashing because it will overwrite it. You can try the command "fastboot erase recovery" before flashing twrp. After flashing recovery completely turn off the phone. Then hold down volume down and proceed powering on into recovery. Sorry for the step by step if your not a noob just have to make sure we cover step by step. The above post is the proper way to boot after flashing try it first.

And it stays in fastboot mode (guessing cause the dtb wasn't found)
