Why not just do a skin?
Answer:
Because you can't change numerous application Icons with a skin. Also you can't add wallpapers and ring tones with just a skin.

I will probably have some updates over then next couple days. Once I start "officially" running the ROM. I'm sure a couple glitches will pop up and some graphics will need fix. I have spent a lot of time working on it to get were it is now.

OK couple things already.
1 fixed the Christmas Skins that weren't showing up

That is one of my favorite videos. I use it to show off my phone.
It plays the video in side by side mode but not the 3d. There is nothing in the settings to tell it to play it in 3d. Not sure what the problem is.
Another thing, in the weather app, it will not search and add a second city. I have had the same issue on the blue rom. It is the weather that you get to by touching the weather on the home clock with the animations.

Ya Team XRON and I am aware of the search function not working in the weather app. My understanding is it was a trade of for a faster phone.
I did have one of my own videos do the side by side but only one (on Youtube). This is the latest version of Youtube app so maybe its a bug in the app. You can't get any videos to work? I noticed it didn't have any settings too.
You could try deleting the Youtube.apk and download it fresh from the market. I would probably move it to the SD just encase.
The weather thing not a big deal. I will try to get a different YouTube apk or maybe reflash the ROM.
I am getting a kick out of the Christmas ROM.

No problem guys! Anyone having an issue with the market? Would also like to see if there is any real world result in the video mods made in build.prop if anyone used the camcorder and can compare
The only thing I've noticed is that on the android keyboard when you press a key the highlighted key pressed is blank. Market is working fine for me BTW.

Hmm. I didn't touch the vanilla keyboard? Weird.
I think maybe it has to do with the font? No biggy to me I mostly use swype anyway

hey great theme loving it. i have a couple of questions though. i love the themed swype but i hardly use swype because its bothersome to me. is there any way you can make a theme'd standard android keyboard?

Haha just kidding but I do have a question, will we be able to see .mpo files in 3d using the 3d gallery? I noticed the 3d gallery dosent recognize .mpo files. Are you going to have the sense stock gallery included also?

Sounds good bro. You kinda have to include the sense gallery cuz of the 3D viewing feature huh? i'm sure we will NEVER get the AOSP 3D Gallery to support HTC's 3D .mpo's unfortunately... Definitley need that MMS, but its always been an issue getting it to work on a sense ROM... figures... As for the HTC Setup Wizard, is it FC'ing on boot or just not showing up? And can all account info just be setup through settings without issues(little work around)?
Looking forward to it. Your NonSense on EVO 4G was one of my favorites.

awesome, personally i wouldnt worry about the setup wizard. like itsallsubliminal said, i can be setup manually.
Without the HTC setup wizard working properly you won't be able to mount your sdcard to the computer

weird, i usually remove the apk from the zips and havent had any problems mounting sd. its gone right now actually.

Edit: just booted up initial impressions are amazing, very fast/responsive and very nice looking.. if i had a couple suggestions/fixes it would be:
1) remove the gps icon
2) add extra quick settings(please)
3) battery percentage
4) fix missing phone icon on lockscreen
5) adjusting brightness causes capacitive buttons to flicker
OMG BATTERY LIFE! should be a killer rom as always ava!

Im all for the battery % and extra quick settings but please leave the gps icon. maybe change it to a color one.
dont get the whole fuss over removing it now. never seemed to be a big deal with the evo4g.
Also semi transparant everything would be nice. Thyrus seems to of gotten that according to the WTSB rom. least the pulldown and app menus are semi transparant

This is a theme right now based on Magnus Ragnarok's Finisher Evolutions, so for those of you who missed it, then I will not let it die. I ported his theme to froyo from eclair when froyo was first released, and I asked him if he wanted to collaborate on a new version for the 3D, but I've gotten no reply yet, so I did a similar, but updated theme. Some elements will be kept, but most will be redone since this is a new age. Below you will find the theme which is labeled Energon.zip. Flash this first. Next there is a boot animation that I edited. It is the original Decepticon boot animation except I added at the beginning a sound wave animation and added audio that says "Laserbeak, Autobot alert" by the Decepticon Soundwave. below is also a Decepticon Splash screen that you will flash through the boot loader. There is also a custom wallpaper and a set of numbered pictures in a folder that when used with the Live wallpaper maker app it will give you a live wallpaper. I also added Optimus Prime to the status bar drop down menu.
Anyway, I want to give thanks to Magnus Ragnarok for inspiring me and letting me piggyback every now and then. Plus I used his lock ring, except I colored it.
Credit to zhp pilot for his app icons, keyboard and htc widget colors.
Thanks to lowrider32119 for his Red Venom theme for which I have used a lot of icons and fonts to make this.
Thanks to absolutzero1906 for helping up to speed with theming sense as I am used to theming CM6-7.
Thanks to the dev who created the Optimus Prime "Nexus Prime" boot animation that I used for the drop down menu.

Works with stock deodexed and also others. I'm not sure which Roms it will work or not work on. Make sure you back up you Rom before flashing!
What's new in 2.0?
Added themed icons and themed htc widgets.
Changed menu to red instead of white.
Re-did htc flip clock.
Added red htc keyboard.
Got absolutezero to change the xml on the status bar drop down to red.

Flash bootscoop zip after you flash the theme and then reboot It is made to create a directory to data/local, so you're boot animation will play sound. Go back into recovery and flash the Decepticon.zip.

Flash through recovery after you've flashed bootscoop.zip and rebooted.

Unzip file install lwp maker apk, put folder on the root of your sd card. from home screen hit menu\wallpaper\live wallpaper, choose live wallpaper maker and select preview\settings and select this folder. and apply.
* Energon 3D themed apps
These are apps that I have themed. just flash through recovery. You can get an idea of what's themed in the pic below.

Tried this on eternity and Clean rom 2.6.1 both times. It broke mail and dailer/phone and mail ...but I like the theme anyway ....

I've got ECLIPSE IV done for it..and I've been thinking about porting over a few of the old ones. American metal will have to wait until we can edit m10 images. It was the clock that made that theme.
Nice rom, thank you. I tried some of the tweaks but some are not working such as the volume wake and the ability to turn off the capacitive buttons leds brightness. Other than that seems to be running like a champ. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, the volume wake mod slipped passed me in testing. I'll have it fixed next time around, and I'll look into the cap light. Thanks for letting me know.
