Don't know much, but google search yielded following results
http://androidforums.com/htc-evo-view-4g/
http://www.htcevoforum.net/
http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-evo-view-4g/

I do wish there was like a sub forum or something

How easy

How is easy is for a someone with no experience to root and flash a UK HTC Flyer 3G ?
Very, but instead of starting two threads in development for questions try and read the stickies in development. If you still have questions post them in general

Almost as easy as it is to read and follow the rule for this forum about where questions should be posted and about double posting. READ FIRST. you will learn more.
Sorry to hijack this, but how easy is it if the tablet has been updated to HC?
Very

If you forget to reverse the polarity of the flux capacitance setting, there's a possibility that the tablet may burst into flames.

Should i get the EVO 3D?

Hey guys, my Desire HD is having hardware problem and since in Lebanon we do not have service for htc, im going to have to replace it.
We do not have plans either. I'm going to have to pay full price for a phone.
My question to those of you who have had the EVO3D for a while is:
Should i get this phone?
What about:
Custom Roms?
Performance?
Are the 3D features as interesting as they advertise it?
Battery?
Thanks,

Someone really needs to just work on a Pro's and Con's thread, and sticky it. There's like 3 of these a day.

[Q] Will the HTC EVO V 4G get it's on forum?

Just curious if this phone will get it's own forum or will it stay under the 3D forum? I figured since it was on HBOOT 1.57 and the older phone has 1.5 or 1.4, there would be some difference in dev work. Just wondering is all. Thanks to everyone here that has answered my questions btw!

As far as I know, the cdma ROMs and such will work on the vm version. Having said that, it would be nice to have a separate forum to make answering questions easier. The mix of cdma and gsm in the Q&A forum makes answering questions difficult.

I agree with you coal686. I notice most of these roms are also for Sprint and it confuses people that have VM. It's overwhelming coming from a Motorola Triumph with a few good roms, to all these HTC roms! There's alot of them! Seems MMS is the biggest issue when installing it on the EVO V 4G. I think it's because of a VM way of handling MMS.
Thanks.
I would like to see the EVO V 4G get its own section as well. It's just a footnote in the EVO 3D forum right now and I'm having to do a lot of sifting to find stuff relevant to my device.
I would be interested in a forum as well
im thinking about getting this phone is it worth moving from a samsung galaxy s does it overheat much when heavy gaming the galaxy heats up a bit
I would say it should get it's own subforum. Much to hard to find posts relevant to this phone.

Agreed, I think as the Evo V community grows we will eventually see our own subforum.
It'd be really nice if they could make one, because I just got this phone, and the mix between relevant and irrelevant info is sorta fustrating.
The Sony Xperia Ion has its own section...what a lemon it's turned out to be.

To be honest, most people searching for help won't know the difference between GSM and CDMA, which will cause even more wrong section posts.
I don't think the EVO V needs a subforum since it's essentially a CDMA and can run it's ROMs, correct me if I'm wrong.
1+
And not necessarily, everything that works on the 3D doesn't always work on the V 4G... (see mainly, MMS/SMS and data)

If not its own forum, at least give it a sub forum thingy. Like how there's a CDMA and a GSM forum.

Me also; Ditto; Agree; +1
My Evo v 4G arrives today. The community is growing. It may be time for a sub-forum, specific to our device, which clearly has some ownership and interest behind it
a sub-forum ~
Please a sub-forum. Evo V is a strong device and will definitely stick around for a while. It deserves a sub-forum on XDA ~ slight changes between Evo V and Evo 3D make their roms not 100 percent compatible. a sub-forum will definitely increase clarity of information.
Anyone who hasn't already can check out the evo v forum at androidforums.com. Everything is geared towards the VM version.

[Q] LiquidRom 4.2.2

I've used xda for quite some time and obviously never have posted....or at least very little!
But since apparently I don't have posting abilities in the Development portion of the forums, please tell Jamie he's definitely done a bangup job with the latest LiquidRom for the EVO so far.....
if I have issues with the ROM moving forward tho, (I have common sense enough to search first....like I said, I've used XDA for sometime, just never posted.....) how do i reply to that thread and ask if i can't find an answer?
Thanks Everyone!
You have to have 10 posts before you can post in development.
Welcome

Who is Admin for this particular forum?

I've posted comments about a few ROMs in this forum already today.
Just thought I'd ask who the Admin is...?
Seems we would want to move many of the items posted, to the non-Tmobile HTC One forum. Quantity isn't quality. If there are a bunch of posts, but they don't pertain to the Tmobile version then we might as well all be hanging out in the main HTC One forum. Ya know?
