I have uploaded this for you http://www.uploadking.com/FPQY1WR1CK
Extract files to sd card, then you have to use root explore to copy/paste or move both files on phone's system/app
Before trying to do the copy/paste thing or move you have to to press mount R/W on root explorer which you can download from here - latest version http://www.uploadking.com/ZU9P6WP896
Reboot your phone...YOU GOT TORCH!!!!!

Why not get one from the Market. There are lots of torch/flashlight apps. Free too. Your English is fine, no need to apologise.

Hy.
I want to paste files to system folder from sd card via root explorer (not old version), but it says that i cant because the file system is read-only.I know ,i had to press the button to mount the folder to r/w, but i havent got tis button anywhere.I repeat: im not using old version of root explorer (i tried 2.5.1 and 2.9.3 but the same problem). My phone is xperia x8 (android v 2.1.1).Please help.Sorry for my english, its not my native language
I use File Expert but I had the same problem. I don't know whether this solution is available or not, but it's worth a shot right?
You should first go to settings ---> File explorer settings ---> 'tick' Root Explorer
Then the mount option should appear. Try and see
using file export and I can't paste to system folder.

I'm trying to paste a file to the system folder, I have root expert ticked and mounted the folder. But it keeps saying "operation failed", please help.
In File Expert you should mount system as read-write manualy no matter that root explorer option is ticked on.

Tryy Using ACS 1.2.3T...That Thing Have Many Of The apps for Vibrants...links are some where in Xda..or look for it on google...its pretty good...any problem with it...ask me
Just download any vibrant rom and extract it on your pc. Once extracted you can find the apk files in the system/app folder. Copy the apk files onto your phone then use Root Explorer from the market to put the apk files in the system/app folder on your phone. Then reboot and you are good to go.

You have to copy apk file into system folder. You can`t install it like any other app. To do that you have to be root user.
I use ES file explorer. Install ES file explorer. Go to options and select "Root Explorer" (press "Allow" when asked from superuser app) and "Mount File System". Copy your apk and go to your phone memory. Go to system and then app folder and paste it. Reboot your phone and you`re done.

[Q] install default MusicPlayer.apk in system/app

Hej,
So I try to push the musicplayer.apk in the system/app folder with terminal, that works as I reboot but it's not installed. but it's in the folder system/app and rw-r-r... do I have to instal it from the system/app folder? or should it automaticly instal it when it reboots?
what am I doing wrong?
grts,
lio
Try installing it normally by transferring apk file to sdcard and installing it using some file explorer, then move the apk from /data/app to /system/app using root explorer and set the permissions to match with those of the other apps
Sent from my painfully slow connection, so consider pressing thanks to provide some relief

and a little question, can I get notifications in my email if someone replies or sends me a message on xda or something. cause I have to check it post by post...
oke found a good musicplayer!!! Mortplayer! it's free and maybe even better...
thanks!!!

For some reason i can't install samsung apps, have tried a bunch of different .apk, but every single one says the same "app was not installed"
Is it because I flashed cm10.1 on to the phone?
Sorry if I spelled something wrong...

Is there a way to install it then? Or does someone have the .apk for cm10.1?
1, Download the required apk file and copy them to your sd card.
2, Use a root explorer tool and browse to the system/app folder. Mount the folder as r/w
3, Copy Paste the apk files to this folder and set permissions to rw -r -r. Reboot the phone

Hey, two questions if I may.
1. Will this work for the PAC-MAN ROM too? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1992386)
2. Can I only install the S Voice app or I have to install all of them? (The file NittenE39 uploaded have only one apk)
Thank you
