[Q] SuperROM's Problem [I9100G_DZKJ2] - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have some problem to ask about the SuperROM:
I flashed SuperKernel and SuperROM for 1 day and half.
I also deleted some system apk that I don't really use.
For first, the battery life are very nice, the battery drop 1% for standby mode with open 3G(GSM mode) by around 3 hours.
But after full charged, calibrate battery, that some weird problem.
Before I sleep show 96%, when I wake up the battery drop 82%.
That mean, battery life drop 14% by 7hrs, so different by early 1% for 3hrs.
It is normal or there are some issue there?
Can some ask Superatmos come here view too? Because i cannot post comment on his thread

Hummm...u hav try it for how many days?cause sumtime the new rom need some time to stabilize..

You have some apps working during sleep .
Use better battery stats look at wakelocks .
Check rom page for update .

ROM help

I bin using litening rom v1.5 for like 2 weeks..everything was running fine untill 3-4 days ago my battery would drain in like 3 hours from 100%. After it drained i would try and charge it..it keeps freezing on the battery screen and changing all diff colours lile blue red green. When v2.0 come out i flashed it via odin. I done all the basics like wipe data/cache ect. After it flashed i recalibrated battery..but last night it done the same thing. Any help would be appreciated thanks
Btw when i go to battery usage 'Android OS' says 97%. I dont have any other apps running in the background nor have i changed any settings. Its all stock settings. I dont run any overclocking apps. Only root apps i have are cachemate, titanium and CWM

Yes why not?
Screen takes the most out of the phone and if brightness is high, this would be normal ...
I get about 3½ hours screen out of a charge with mixed brightness.
How much do u use when idle (sleeping)?

Do you mean that you reset the fuel gauge chip or just cleared batterystats?

What's your battery life on stock ROM? Same?
Odoslané z GT-I9100 cez Tapatalk 2
Use CPUSpy to check if your phone goes to deep sleep when not used and since you are using Siyah use ExTweak to tweak ur Kernel frequency step and power management.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Is this the first battery cycle after you flashed it? If yes, you need to give it at least three before you judge the battery life.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium

My battery life.

This is my battery drain overnight from 95% in nearly 8 hours down to 85%. I can see a few times it comes out of deep sleep but is this normal and ok?

loool, and op, use betterbatterystats to check wakelocks, something is waking your phone up every once in a while
unless of course, u have a lot of syncing going on. check ur kernel.and partial wakelocks. my battery usually drains 0 to 1 percent each night WITH autosync on

It takes at least 2 to 3 charges before the battery is calibrated properly, so wait 3-4 days before you can draw a conclusion about batterylife.
Thanks for your answer but i had wait one week!!!

Better look on CM thread then if other users have that too or maybe have a solution.
Do you have a stock or custom kernel, have automatic syncing, hoe many widgets running, do you play games, what is the screenontime, etc etc. It depends also a lot on the way of usage of the user.

Use Better Battery Stats from the market .
But judged by your previous multiple battery help posts you need to wipe phone factory reset and test .
22 battery posts is almost a record therefore you may have a hardware problem .
Still a problem take to a service centre .

Better battery with Rooted Stock ROM
I had Liquidsmooth 2.1 earlier on my S3 and then uped to 2.2 official. My phone went for a toss so I switched to Stock rom. What I noticed is that the rooted stock was giving better battery life than I got with Liquid. Am not sure why.
Also, are you running custom ROM or stock?
