Simple search would have netted your answer. Been asked a gazillion times in Atrix forums. Can't do it!

CM7 Porting

is anyone working on porting cm7 to atrix ? as much as i searched other threads i couldn't find anyone mentioning if they're working on it.
No one has mentioned it but many others have asked...
sent from my rooted,
and chillin, canadian Motorola Atrix
I would check their IRC rooms. much better discussion/support as well as it's dev's main communication method. I remember sitting in on their chat rooms just watching them try to think of ways to crack open the bootloader (with a youtube video about wierd japanese corsets in the middle )

maybe, just because i saw these the other day for the older Galaxy S devices:
Add SamsungServiceMode (1/4)
This is an interface to the radio's control interface. The application isaccessable via *#*#197328640#*#* (or an easier to remember submenu of it isaccessable via *#*#0011#*#* and use back to get to the main menu).Change-Id: Ie43f54003d9e683e25f05fa6e7f57711edef9e7f

So maybe they can get them to work on the SGS2 also
Use *#*#301279#*#* and *#*#9900#*#*
Most of them are in the format *#nnnn#
People play jokes on noobs by putting loads of extra *s and #s on there so you can tell a noob just by looking at their posts.
When you see one that's like *#*#nnnn#*#* then just try it simple at first
Anyway, I use MIUI and no USSD codes work on that either. I've only ever known the Samsung stock dialer to work with them, which is annoying. I've also tried a few dialers off the Market, but no luck.
AFAIK, the only way you will get them to work is by going back to a stock ROM. I'd <3 to be proven wrong though.
I'm on gingermod rom. *#code# doesn't work on stock dialer or custom dialer like GoContacts. But *#*#code#*#* WORKS.
I didn't know that noobs are identified by * and # in their posts.
I respect all devs and senior members who has done a lot of cooking in this thread. But please don't be rude to people who are trying to help. Thanks

[Q] GSM Voice Calls on Galaxy Tab 10.1

I've searched and searched:
Is it possible to enable voice calls on the 10.1 SGT? (NOT the 10.1v)
I read about the modem.bin for the 10.1v; is there anything similar for the 10.1?
Found by Forum search, it is easy to use!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20004471&postcount=81
that is the same for 10.1v...it would be amazing to have the voice calling feature over GSM on 10.1!
I'm waiting for GSM voice calling as well. Does anyone know if Android 4.0 running on galaxy tab would help us?
Or just use Viber then no need to mess around

Aye, but isn't that just some kind of extension to Google Voice? And that one (as far as I know) only allows free calls to phones inside the US and Canada.
need this badly...i saw phone.apk in the system remover...may be the hardware is still on
yep you are right, there is the phone.apk in the /system/app and the hardware does support the voice capabilities, it is unfortunate that the voice calling facility has been disabled at the software end.

Thanks for linking it for those of us, who just browse the forums not for a special purpose, but about finding interesting things, and not searching directly for this

Dialing numbers when on the service voice menus does work on NEWT's OneX rom. For me at least.
On the other hand service numbers like say *116# don't.

Well this thread is redundant, also considering the OP posts in it.

Not really. But I noticed for some reason it has the numbers on the route of my sim card, and I can't delete them even if I wanted to. All this from the Rezound ofcourse.
While say if I insert the sim in a different phone, say my ****ty Nokia, and look through the sim contacts there, I won't find those numbers saved under "prepaid menu" or "customer service" the way they're on my Rezound.

next time post this in the cm10 thread please. and this is something that has been known by the community for a long time. was also an issue with cm9.
also not something to start a thread in the Development section. Q&A perhaps. or General.

If this is still and issue, there is a workaround for Xposed framework that lets videos play properly.

It is still an issue, also WatchESPN doesn't work. And Wifi Tethering is also broken. Just FYI for people looking to upgrade.

Not the same thing. WatchESPN is for viewing live and past events on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN3. I get audio and can turn on captions, but no video.
