Because I love Transformers I continue to make themes and mods Transformer orientated. This is a boot animation made from a stop animation video that YouTube user "asiguido" made http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCGAzj-tRpI&list=FLciMRQ-of Megatron turning into Galvatron in the Transformers movie of 1986. (Everyone should check out his awesome video). It is a flashable zip. Download and flash through recovery. Below is a animated gif I made, so you can preview the boot animation prior to downloading. It is not the exact spped of the boot animation, but close. Also there is a video of me previewing it in a boot animation previewer on my desktop, since I didn't have a camera on hand to record it booting on my phone. Hope you enjoy. Hi guys! This is my newest boot animation called "Spinning Disc" (also known as "Spinning DVD"). It's only for HVGA Devices, but can be applied on WVGA Devices. It's fast and light: only 2,5 MB in size! I made this boot animation using Cinema 4D and Power Archiver (packing). I will make QVGA and WVGA versions soon. Here's a preview of the boot animation:

Nice but can u make DVD Disc with something what look like android cd disc? (Like Windows Xp disc or linux?). Animation is smooth and fast but without any android symbol.

i like it. anyway you can speed up the loading bar? it just looks too slow IMO, my atrix is blazing fast on boot up
I love it! Just a suggestion, would it be possible to make the loading bar have an 8-bit look as well? In addition to the original version, of course.
Will do both of those! This is just a first draft of course.
What do you think of an 8-bit M. Logo as well?
If you want to speed it up yourself take it apart open desc.txt and change the 6 to something higher

in theory all of them are with 1440(width)x1280(height) ~ 1440 to support the stretch of scrolling
but it still requires trimming them to some extent when you go to apply it oddly enough (which doesn't take away the whole image but is still annoying)
i'll try to resize some of the deviant art's that are popular =)

before i get started please BACK UP your phone! just in case YOU screw up.
so i decided to make myself a boot animation w/ sound based on the Salival DVD that the Tool Band released some years ago. This is my first attempt (hopefully not my last) at making an animation. so i have tested the animation and it works perfecty fine on my HTC AMAZE. It is not a flashable zip, so please do not flash. please unzip and place both files in their boot animation folders. i believe that particular folder is rom specific. (Please excuse me as i am noobsome). however i am running NRGZ28 latest ICS Energy rom and the boot animation folder location is under:
system/customize/resource<----place bootanimation.zip and android_audio.mp3 files here!
Too NRGZ28 rom was missing the some coding to allow the sound file to play at startup.
Go to: system/customize/CID and find the default.xml file.
open the defualt.xml file and on the lower half of the file you will see this as the default settigns:
