[Q] question about tethering

hello
i'd like to connect my samsung player star to my folio100 in foliomod 1.3a by dexter, but the folio can't connect my phone in bluetooth " find but not connect" is there a possible solution with usb or another thing
i've search in many places but can't find the solution.
my phone give internet to my pc with "new pc studio"
thank's to every one
I connect my folio with my htc magic using wifi tethering. Have you try this instead the bluetooth?

The only way, for now, to have internet on the folio is through wifi.
The bluetooth stack is not complete and/or android can't use bluetooth as a client for internet. I've also searched for many hours.
Archos has made a lot of effort in enabling bluetooth tethering, but i don't know if it's an app or extra functions in the bluetooth drivers.
A little good news is, people are trying to make 3G usb sticks working on the folio.

[Q] Archos -> BT -> Laptop -> Internet

All,
I have the following situation:
I have a laptop that has a wired internet connection and I have a Archos Gen 8 tablet. The laptop and Archos both have bluetooth. The laptop is running Windows 7 Ent. and the Archos is running the latest stock firmware (2.4.19 / Android 2.2)
What I want to do:
I want to connet my Archos to the BT of the laptop and then use the laptop's internet connection to access the internet.
Does anyone know a solution for this? Searching google only results in tethering a tablet to a mobile phone or tether a laptop to a mobile phone.
Regards,
Johan
If your laptop use wire internet why don't you just buy a router and use a wireless to connect you Archos. Don't have to looking for a hard work man...
Another hand, you can access internet anytime without turn on you laptop.

Steven,
Thanks for the reply, but the problem is that I cannot plug in a wireless router in the places I want to use this solution (mainly at work).

Johan
http://www.connectify.me/windows.html This might help you.
Connect your laptop with a wired connection and use your laptop as a wireless hot spot:

I've done this before and it works, similar to the poster above me!

[Q] Connecting Keyboard Folio to PC via Bluetooth?

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience connecting the Nexus 9's keyboard folio to a Windows PC via Bluetooth? When I put the keyboard into pairing mode it isn't visible to my PC. My phone and tablet are both visible to my PC when their Bluetooth is turned on but it can't seem to find my keyboard.
I've looked around on a few forums and haven't seen any posts about connecting the folio to a PC so I'm not even sure if it's possible. Has anyone tried this and got it to work? Or will the folio only connect to android devices?
Thanks.

Check the settings of the router! Or your provider !! It is necessary to change the settings so that would be a router you can not connect only one device!

i think controler is connected directly to tablet , not via router. i using Edimax BR-6428nC router and have 3 phones and tablet on it at same time (max i had on it was 2 laptops, and 4 phones so i think its not about limit of 4 so after controler is conected its cut tablet...) . or you think its about some settings in tablet and it can be connected to only 1 wifi? so if controler connect to tablet , tablet interupt other wifi conections?
