[REQ] More detailed ICS theme - HTC Amaze 4G

Title says it all
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G using XDA App

I'm trying to build one right now that uses the go launcher. However I'm new to doing anything on Android Roms so we will see how it turns out. Right now its rather buggy.

I'll post it though if I get it working and packaged. Hopefully I can learn more cause the development here is rather slow... No offence to to the great developers that are here. I'm just coming from the HD2 where there were about 5 updates every day. lol

Yeah pretty cool man, u think you can do something in uot?
Sent from my HTC Amaze 4G using XDA App

Well... I tried uot and it works well for some things. But others such as the notification menu didn't turn out very well. We'll see though what I end up with. I have found the go launcher to work rather well and its not to hard to theme.

Porting an AOKP theme from captivate?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23642656
So i bought a captivate off a customer for $10 and threw their version of AOKP on it and I found the above theme. It is very nice, similar to tasks theme but it has these really nice looking icons for the settings menu. I contacted the creator and asked him if it would be hard for him to port, he replied that he doesnt have the phone or the time which is understandable, but said he doesn't mind if someone does port or use it as a base. Since I am void of any knowledge of themeing and have no time to learn. Im wondering if anyone else running AOKP feels as I do and would like to see this on tasks build? Id be willing to donate.

ROM Tweaks

Can someone point me in the right direction how how to add things to a rom like I want to add the animation when you lock your screen like ACS ICS where it looks like a tv turning off. Also the unlock screen thanks in advanced.

Sure it does... It points you in the right direction...Sorry, Couldn't help myself - i needed a laugh.
Might I suggest you check out the Amaze Bible? The guys spent a lot of time putting that thing together. {The TV CRT doesn't work with ICS - yet..}
This place is kinda of pointless if you ask a question and all you get are assholes posting in the thread.

Sense 4.0 Color Themed Keyboards

I am taking no credit here for the keyboards but since I am digging Eclipze's new Sense 4.0 ROM, I went looking for some goodies. I have not found much in the way of skins that I like but I do like the Blue Glow keyboard from this thread and confirm it works on Rebirth. Thank the person that started the thread below

Nice job on the find. And great job on the find for an update.zip that works with rebirth.

Oh the text app is Chomp. Lots of people hate on it but its customization and emoji support keep me using it.

Yep, I use to use BiteSMS back in the old BB and iPhone days so I am just so use to it that I cannot get rid of it.

Fleksy Keyboard

Fleksy Keyboard
Beta of the Fleksy Keyboard working on the Rezound.

Wow, and I thought I liked Swiftkey. Even though all the settings don't work in this beta version--don't like haptic feedback--I can't wait until it hits the regular market place. It has improved my personal typing speed and accuracy threefold.
This keyboard is probably the most accurate one I've come across. I can purposely miss every letter and come up with the word I wanted most times. Seems there is no way to add to the dictionary though. For instance, it doesn't know the word flu. No matter how accurate you type those three letters, you won't get flu to stay put. It'll change it every time! Surely there will be a way to teach this new words in the official release, right? For now, it's back to HTC's keyboard.
Don't suppose we could get a little more info could we, and maybe a screenshot?

Their site has you covered, bro. :good:
I don't find it to be to useful myself. Its an interesting concept and mighty useful if you master it. I'll get a screenshot up.

[PROGRESS][REQ] Super/Ultra Smooth Rosie for HC ROMS

Let's face it, Rosie lags. And it lags hard on our Flyer. When I had the HTC Desire HD, I found out about this wonderful mod. I checked the thread and there is a version for virtually every other HTC device except the Flyer, even the Jetstream, which has exactly the same software version!
So, I figured, if it works on the Jetstream, it has to work on the Flyer. So I flashed it. The outcome was almost perfect. No lags. There is only one problem, which kind of makes it unusable: the top bar needs resizing, because the "All Apps" icon can't be pressed.
So my request is: Does anyone here have resizing skills? I'd be happy to beta test. If we can manage to get it to work, it will be really worth it.
Thanks. Julian
EDIT: Here are screenshots of the homescreen, showing the resizing problem and the flatened widgets. (it works)

Just for whoever will hopefully work on that, have a link for that MOD?
Sent from my ADR6410LVW using Tapatalk 2
I do, give me a couple minutes, and I will upload a photo of the homescreen and a link to the MOD. We can really pull this off, guys. And it will make our beautiful Flyers be more pleasant to use.
EDIT: Done, there you have the link and a couple screenshots (I know they are huge and make my post ugly, but I'm a noob here
You could ask Scabes24 or MoonNah, they sure can help you (and hope they will).

I did it (almost) all by myself, mummy!
I got it almost perfectly done, look at the other post in the forum and give it a spin
Sorry, there are too many quirks for now.
