Hey everyone, this is the 2nd theme for you all to enjoy (hopefully). There's a few things I still haven't had the time to dedicate and figure out yet. I've also attached a zip of the icons I created for this theme. I tried themeing all the apks, but the constant updates kept reverting them back..so I said screw it, just use a launcher and change the icon out.
Also this is based on Joker's Skinny ROM (which is off the 198_7 build). You can flash this theme via bootstrap or CWM, and should wipe cache/dalvik prior to installing the zip. I DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY IF YOU BRICK YOUR PHONE.

UPDATE: Can't seem to decompile com.swype.android.inputmethod-2.apk. I tried using 7zip to change out all icons, but reflashed and just FC'd on me. I think I need to sign it first and then try it again.

deleted com.swype.android and swypeinstaller.apks from data/app
reboot into recovery - wipe cache/dalvik
install jetblackswype.apk it works! Great!
BUT....reboot, and then I get force closes...have to restore...

so I flashed your theme today.... (works on NERO V5 by the way)
and used it in conjunction with the Cyanogen Icon Pack... (found here):

For some reason, i can flash the theme, and i have no problems WHATSOEVER. But once i flash the apps package, my camera starts to force close and same with my camcorder. not sure if anyone else has this issue, but its happening with me. other than that, AWESOME THEME.

Have you tried rebooting your phone? I had a prob with my music and video player when I flashed nero and the reboot fixed it.

No problem. I love the smaller icons with black and white. I haven't had any problems with the battery mod, well at least none that I have seen or am aware of.

Gingerbread is already a lot of black and green so we wanted to switch it up. I think the white and neon makes it look crisp and fresh and definitely unique....which is what we were going for.

Super nice
The settings menu is themed and the 4 lockscreens. The lockscreens are my favorite besides the boot animation. We are planning to theme some apks and hopefully some other parts of the framework. But it is a solid first version and is fairly complete.

Everything looks good, but I've noticed that when you select some of the toggles from the notification curtain, the green highlight is a little messed up. The only one that seems to be perfect is the rotation one and vibrate. Not a big deal at all, thought I'd bring it up...

They have only been tested on the Atrix 4.1.57 - deodexed and rooted. They will not work on any other ROM.

Send me an Evo and I'll do it. This is my first Android device and these themes are pretty basic IMO. You should go check out the Evo Themes thread or the Android Themes thread. Thats where I rip most of my stuff from.
You've got many more options than us Atrix users. Learn about your device.

Re-read your post. You're lack of punctuation threw me off.
You have an Atrix and want theme chooser ability.
The only way I can think of right now for the Atrix is download all Zips and keep them on you SD. Then use CWM recovery whenever you want to change.

no it won't, however if you ask, the OP may feel inclined to throw an update up with transparent notification dropdowns. can't really tell you whether he will do so or not myself, but you can always hope and ask nicely

Known Issues - I did not plan on having a known issue section, but Ive already posted the theme and i am too spent to fix this tonight. When you first boot up, whenever media scans, etc, there will be orange pop-up text in the statusbar but will dissapear. Just a minor thing I will fix later.

Not really sure what you mean. Can you explain further? Theme shouldnt cause anything like that. And its very unlikely your are boot-looped .

only thing is that PicSpeed seems to now let me set wallpapers anymore. not a biggie. but thats the only thing i have noticed.
other than that love the messaging and overall theme here man, loaded with no problems.

Check to see if picspeed has an update or something.. or maybe clear its data. I dont think any changes in this theme would cause that. Could be wrong though.

I dont know what would cause that. I would reboot recovery and wipe cache and dalvik. If you are still bootlooped then reflash solaris. Im assuming you are on Solaris Prime?, this isnt for ics.. Yet.

I am currently on padawan 8 (best ROM IMHO)...but given your effort i will nandroid and flash 5 and test your theme. I have to charge up and then will flash both later. Hope to give some feedback tomorrow.

Flashed...not seeing a huge difference, if any? The only thing I'm thinking changed are the power toggles at the top of the notification pulldown?

Lol I flashed it way back when I first posted....forgot I had the Note 2 theme installed (I almost always forget that!!)
Anyways, um yeahhh...if you have the Note 2 theme flashed don't forget to lose it before flashing the revision he's working on...lol
I had the same result as above...everything is still blue, guess the theme did not take. Im on 5.1.

There's probably something cooked into the ROM that is similar to the way Theme Chooser themes work...where the theme doesn't exist within the resources of the SystemUI or Framework-res.apk themselves, but instead "wraps" around the display elements. Not getting that from anything in particular, that's just my guess.

Padawan Is not compatible with theme Chooser. I made it a flash able zip and didn't work

Actually I found what's wrong. I never themed the touchwiz framework and the framework-res. So I'm going to have to do that them I will update the Test.zip *sigh* double the work... ah well must be done

Wasn't saying it was Theme Chooser, I was saying that it sounded like the ROM was employing a similar method of theming.
Glad you found out what out was.
