Haven't received mine yet (bought late last night) -- seller says there's only 40 total (has sold 6 at the moment). I've been watching for a cheap unlock code so I'm happy I got this, as long as it actually shows up.
Not sure how similar IMEI's are, but seller listing says it's ONLY good for IMEI's that start with 358055xxxxxxxxx

Thanks. I had seen this before, but when I was looking at it before I saw mixed reviews for this phone. Wanted something that would do an "official" unlock without too much messing around, but if the free method ends up with the same net result, then disregard my thread :lol:

Really? I tried doing that a few days ago and the rep told me they cant. I even told them i fly international alot and i need it to use my phone with simcard from out of country carriers. The rep wouldnt even open up a case for me like how they did it for with my dell streak.

I was kinda thinking the same thing when I saw this post: "but you can unlock for free." I just did it last night and it literally took 2 minutes. If that.
The app will also allow you to relock it if you want.
The phones are over 2 years old call AT&T they will give you the codes. Did for both me and my wife's i777 sg2...

That's what I did when I sold it. It was simple but took about an hour talking to at&t.

With your SGSii did you notice it not sticking to HSPA+? If so, do you have this issue with the GNex?

Me too, i found two in a matter of days, 16gb for $150 and 32gb for $180.
Amazon seems to be in stock. 32gb models for $280. If you're wanting one cheaper than that..well I don't think you'll find it.
You had to be quick on your feet to get them at $150 back in August.

I make it a thing to power off and reboot atleast once every 2 weeks, so I won't ever have some ungodly large number like that.
But when I first got it I went about that long before I turned it off the first time.

Why are you guys not hiding your phones mac addresses? Do you not know what cyber crime is and how easy it is to know where you are located by your mac I.D. I could spoof your macs and other info from your phone call in threats to people, and you would get the blame you guys have to hide that stuff!!! Just wanted to let you know! At least cheekrox knows!!!

lol. yeah. Its un-common sense . Please do hide ur IMEI/IMEI SV/MID/SID/MAC ID and whatever ID that may come up. I'm on GSM, so I know IMEI, dunno what CDMA ppl have.

So I'm going crazy... My phone screen seems to be going out and I brought my phone into sprint twice now... They tell me the phone does not show any of the problems when they have the phone. They treat me like I'm crazy.. It kind of ridiculous. I'm not hanging out at the spring store because I'm board... The phone screen keeps going in and out and almost makes the unusable... I'm not sure what you're showing here, but I suggest when going into the store showing the rep you first talk to your issue. Before, they take it for the folks in back. You've got to have someone there back you up before the tech sees it.
Sorry the pictures are of the phones touch screen test. I spoke with the manager... And the issues come and go so just showing them the issue is the issue. I can't make it do it on command. The phone will be fine for a few hours and then go out again... That's why it's so frustrating.

Had the issue, showed them the same app and proved screen had issues and they ordered new phone, its the digitizer failing. Don't let them tell you otherwise...goodluck.

they aren't really installing apps without your consent. its an update to an app that you already had installed and in the ToS is says they have the right to update their apps.
