Champagne 32gb best buy back order..... - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I know a lot of you are gonna be PO'd at another best buy thread but from everything i read everyone is just speculating that the champagne hasn't shipped through them at least that hows it seams cuz i haven't heard of a single one comming out of BB. So this thread is to make sure of it and find out who ordered what day they ordered what their status is showing charge card info blah blah blah Also for all of us waiting it would be nice to share any info you get for those of us waiting on the champ. from BB!
Ordered on 11/27. Chase C.C. been auth twice but currently no charge. 1st screen shows "In Process" 2nd says 1 item(s) on back order. Standard Ground.
was told countless times i would receive by the 23rd also if they received a shipment i would get free 2nd day shipping to get b4 xmas ANY FEEDBACK WELCOME!

I pre-ordered a 32GB champagne on 11/23. From what I have seen not a single champagne has shipped from Best Buy. Meanwhile, Amazon has shipped mostly champagne. My screens are the same. My credit card doesn't show the pre-auth's but I assume they've run it multiple times. I was told many times that it would (1st) be delivered on 12/19 and (2nd) before Christmas. I think it is safe to assume Best Buy hasn't shipped any champagne as I pre-ordered early on 11/23.

I ordered on 11/22 same back order status standard shipping and I haven't gotten a single piece of usable information from my multiple attempts at calling..used a BB credit card and the charge is not on my balance but it had been taken from my available credit

11/25 w/ free shipping. card (debit) has been charged 4 times, including right now (seems to stay in "pending" for 3 or 4 days before dropping off).
i was told on the 5th (when I called after the 2nd "hold" was placed on my card) that it happened b/c the item was shipping. on the 14th (3rd charge) I was told to cancel, b/c bb doesn't sell the champagne one (I told her not to touch my order, that I didn't trust anything they were saying).
if I can find this thing anywhere else, I'll get it.

Well I guess I'm gonna call again this morning I can't believe they told u bestlie isn't selling the champagne if this is true I won't really be surprised. Pre-ordered 12/1 32GB and dock. Status on first screen says "in process" 2nd screen says "back-ordered" for both. I also paid with PayPal and they have had my money since day 1 too!!!

32GB Champagne Prime
Ordered 12/2 after the great Amazon Debacle. Went from processing to backordered a few days ago.

I ordered the 32GB Champagne and dock on 11/22 via paypal - The money was taken out of my paypal account on 11/25! I recieved the back-ordered email and when I complained to the CSR that people who preordered later than me had recieved tracking numbers, she couldn't explain it. I guess they really don't have the Champagne in stock as the other thread doesn't have a single Champagne owner mentioning a shipped email.
I knew I ordered the wrong color!!!

Yeah and I only ordered champ because seemed everyone with a gray from amazon was getting cancled thought I would have a better chance boy was I wrong. I haven't called yet today I'm going to in a few minutes then will post

I ordered the tablet on 11/22 and the dock on 11/23; both with same status now as "backordered"; I received emails for both regarding the backorder; called BB yesterday and they just send me one email for each item stating "extended backordered" for 30 days; after 30 days order will be cancelled!
4 times pre auth on my Citi card; problem is that Citi holds precharges for 30 days!
BB CSR told me when she extended the backorder status that the system was showing date of receipt BETWEEN 19-23; so, two more days and we'll be there to see our hopes vanish.

Nothing changed on my call today just told for a 2nd time when it comes off back order I get free upgraded shipping. At least the lady I talked to today tried after being on hold twice and disconnected she called back to tell me should could not get any more info

In the same boat as everyone else. Ordered two 32GB Champagnes and one dock on 11/23 from BB and anxiously watching for word that they're shipping Champagnes. Called Best Buy on Monday and was told 10 days by CSR, but I think he was just splitting the difference on the 1-2 week timeframe in the email. Thanks for starting this thread.

Ordered on 11/29 (both the dock and the tablet)
Both have shown back-ordered status since 12/18
I emailed them on 12/18 asking what was going on and they emailed me back later in the day and basically just confirmed that they are on back-order and didn't have any additional information.
I haven't received any additional communication from BB regarding the issue. I also did not receive the auto-generated email indicating that the item is on a 1-2 week back order that others have received.

Ordered on 11/23 (both the dock and the tablet) Money has been deducted from my Chase debit card already. Got an email saying both items have been back-ordered, I keep calling them, believe it or not, they are hanging up on me now(twice yesterday). this is totally bizarre.

Ordered on 11/23, and got a back order e-mail on 12/19. It's listed as back ordered now, with an estimate of 1-2 weeks.

I am in the exact same boat, calling CS today. I got my back order email at 10:20 pm on the 18th (twenty after midnight at their corporate office). Was pretty upset about it as this is a gift.

Ordered champagne 32GB on 12/4. Backordered email came same time as everyone 12/18 midnight, with a delay of 1-2 weeks. 2 weeks hits January, and I expect another week of delay then, then ship time. Should have it from BB mid Jan, unless I change my mind about the whole thing.

Ordered 12/2 after the Amazon fiasco.
No information since the email stating it was backordered.

Got mine from barnes and nobles this morning, and got confirmation in an hour, and was already charged, so hopefully it will ship on the expected date, which is the 24th.

TouchPad 32Gb ordered mine from Comet in the UK, got my receipt now.
Arrival due on the 24th between 7-12pm.
This will go nicely with my PlayBook 16Gb that doesnt store all my music.

Got one of mine from there yesterday as well. Received an email from HP a little while ago saying the order will be processed within 72 hours.
Ordered mine from HP SMB site on saturday and got a confirmation email within the hour. I logged into my order status using the email they sent and my status says 'Back Ordered'. In response to many tweets inquiring about chances of actually getting a touchpad, Bryna Corcoran, HP Social Media Manager, states "Chances R good IF 1) were charged 2) got order # email 3) sent another final confirmation email. If one of those is missing...don't hate me."
So i guess if we are back ordered they just hang on to our money until they decide.

I placed my order around 10:00 PM PDT last night. Today at 2:50 PM I received an email saying they were going to cancel my order because their inventory was depleted before my order was processed. Yet my order status page still shows a ship date of 24 August.
Anyway, their email excuse makes no sense: shouldn't they have decremented their inventory count after every order? I'm suspicious that they lined up order processing not by arrival time but by shipping time; those of us too cheap to go for overnight shipping ended up getting the shaft.
Yep, mine was canceled from B&N too. Order was around midnight EST I think.

I ordered from HP EPP on Friday and they canceled my order because I used a coupon. HP said it was because of inventory issues but why are people who ordered on Saturday getting theirs?

Has anyone gotten their flyer from techforless?

I know they were slammed with the holiday sales, etc but come on... Their estimated delivery for me is mid next week. It still shows as processing card on their site and their customer support is rude. Am I just the lucky one?
Did you order directly from them or from Amazon? I'm sure you will get it although I've read over on slickdeals how some people have gotten their orders cancelled. During the chaos, I ordered a refurbished 160gb ps3 from them and I got it yesterday. I thought it would have gotten cancelled since it was so cheap but it didn't and it came with the box and everything else.
I got it late at night from their site directly. I have called and they have confirmed that I am guaranteed one, but every day this week they have said it will ship out.... Still no tracking number or shipped email.
yea I actually just talked to them on the phone about an hour ago because mine CC charge mysteriously disappeared leading me to believe it had gotten cancelled. The customer service lady I talked to was actually quite pleasant and after I gave her my order number she told me that a tracking number has been issued and I should receive an email from them later on today. I am pretty confident she wasnt lying so now im just waiting on that email

yeah the same thing here , they say everything is ok with your order but still it is not processed. I talked to order department too in Monday he told me he will ship it out but nothing happens so far.

I was gutted when they cancelled my order, and elated when I got the tracking. paid $45 for next day delivery to europe, and should be here tomorrow

If you dial BB directly it will state clearly on the line that you may not receive an email for 7 days after your package has shipped due to the volume. That having been said I went to BB for lunch and after giving the young lady my phone number and name she verified that I had a prime tablet shipping on the 17th...maybe today and a dock shipping on the 19th. I had not told her I ordered a dock. I asked her twice about them being in stock and she replied without hesitation that yes they are now in stock. Fingers, toes and eyes are crossed.

Half is better than nothing i guess? But honestly people .. dont settle! Holiday or no holiday, they shouldnt have sold us a 1day shipping option, if it wasnt possible due to holidays or any other reason. It should have said "This option not available" or something
Just keep saying "i ordered on the 23rd ... im receiving on the 28th ... you tell me, why did i pay for 1 day delivery?"
But i didnt have to go through any of that, they were more than willing in my case.

Just spent 45 minutes on the phone with them. I had to argue with the guy about being charged 35.99 for overnight shipping and getting it the same time as a free order. I was very nice and keep trying to get him to see how the website even told me I should get it by 12/27 if I chose that option. It is even being sent to me ground end of day but he keep arguing that since they couldn't ship it until today, they were technically not late. He wouldn't budge but I asked to speak to a manager and she was very nice and gave me my full shipping amount back.
I haven't received any confirmation yet but I hope it goes through as she said.

This is amazing, I'm actually Norwegian and had my American buddy order me the prime. We go to college together in Ireland, so ill get it on the second of Feb. Aaanyway, just called bestbuy now from Norway, and after politely arguing that the shipping is a day late, she went from offering me half a refund, giving me the full 29.99 refund! Sweet, thanks so much for suggesting this, wouldn't have thought of it on my own!

well i tried to get at least half back, i have an e-mail showing it shipped on 12.26.11 via EXPRESS, time of arrival the 27th, however it is arriving today, anyways, long story short, i called BB CS and the lady kept arguing it was shipped on the 27th even though it says other wise on my BB.com account, eventually she just hung up on me after saying that's not true...WOW...and im a silver rewards member too...this BLOWS...
i e-mailed them with a complaint and posted on their message boards...i doubt ill get anything...

Nope- nothing shipped on 12/26. UPS was closed. I called and spoke to UPS and they said perhaps a label was created on the 26th but NOTHING shipped. They were adamant about it.
I called BestBuy on the 26th and asked how they were shipping if UPS and Fedex were closed. Crickets.
I called yesterday for a refund and they told me to wait until today. I just called and they refunded without hesitation They said a credit would show on my card in 3-5 days.

You need to call back and if the same thing happens again, just ask to speak to a manager. I had to argue with the guy and he said there was nothing he could do. He said Best Buy was not late since it was shipped on the 27th and I was getting it on the 28th. Even though I paid 35.99 for overnight shipping, it was still actually shipped standard UPS ground for end of day delivery. To long of a story to give all the details of what he said but he was an idiot. The manager apologized and gave me the refund no problem.
Heck, I received complimentary expedited shipping when it took them forever to figure out how to switch my champagne order to grey. Then when it didn't arrive yesterday and after I called, I received an email and a "Digital Credit" of $41.25 (the amount of my taxes) was applied to my order.
I am persistent but polite and always sympathetic towards the CSRs knowing that they really can't do much in situations such as these (this is a pretty complicated deal here).
So happy right now!
I got refunded my expedited shipping for my order that I purchased on 12/25. I called them up and argued that since the estimated delivery time was the 12/27-12/28 for expedited shipping, I wasted money on it because my tablet will be delivered by 12/29 and I spent $17 extra. So the guy the best he can do is give me a $20 DIGITAL COUPON to bestbuy.com and I agreed to receive it. Its like a gift card you can spend on bestbuy.com and the best part is that he sent more than I paid for shipping!!!

WTF is up with Newegg?

I thought Newegg was a big Asus dealer? Way it sounds, I am assuming not.
I have been told that they were receiving shipments on December 27 for pre-orders. Then it was pushed to today. Now I am being told that within the next two business weeks, they will be receiving confirmation of when they will receive more.
I guess on the bright side, no one else is getting them either, but doesn't sound like NE got that many to begin with.
Today mine got to the office depot warehouse after ordering on the 20th. 1/5 delivery date. I had been checking up on new egg as well and they never have any updates.

According to them for circumstances beyond their control, they never got them. They will know within 2 weeks when they supposed to get more.
The only reason I am sticking with Newegg is I have a $300 and some change credit.
I might the bullet and pre-order somewhere else and play the waiting game

Preordered the Prime on 12/07, 32G Grey.
Was first told Dec 27, they would have some to ship for preorders. Was then told January 3.
I called them today and was told that they will have confirmation of receiving more within next two weeks.
Hung up the phone and went to Newegg less than 5 minutes after my call and low and behold the 32G grey and champagne was in stock ready to order. And they had a limited offer of a free Asus Carrying case as well.
Ordered and have been charged and is currently in packaging status.
I am pissed because the preorder people have been hung out to dry. Should not be able to just go to site and order if preorders have not been fulfilled.
Did anyone else get a free carrying case as well? My order doesn't show it, but it was there and I will raise hell if I don't get it after what we have been through.
