Hi, I recently noticed that regardless of the rom I'm on, no voice apps like Google Voice, Speaktoit or Skyvi work for me. They keep saying they cant detect anything but voice recorders seem to work. Any ideas as to what's going on?
Have you checked you've installed TTS (Text to speech)? I think google voice apps needs it installed in order to work properly.
Yes it is installed. When I try to reinstall Google Voice from the market, it tells me my device is incompatible :S

I use Meebo IM on my G Tab, and have set up my Google Talk account on it. When somebody sends me a message via Google Talk, I get notifications for both Meebo and Google Talk in the notification bar. I used Titanium Backup to uninstall Google Talk (and one other service that was related to Google Talk, but I don't remember the name). However, even after uninstalling it I still get notifcations from it. When I click on that notification, nothing happens.
Does anybody know how I can make it so the only notifcation I get is the one for Meebo? Thanks!

Hi! Not sure if I'm in the right spot, but I figured I'd start here.
I just recently purchased the Asteroid Smart receiver and I'm having issues with the Google Services Framework. I followed a lot of guides to get Google Play to work on the deck and for the most part, I'm happy with how I have it setup. Google Calendar doesn't work, but I can access it from the web browser, so it's not that big of a deal. Besides that, everything else seems to work, except for the Google Play Services. It tells me that I cannot download to a duplicate user id, which I'm sure it has a lot to do with the account management apk file. Google's Framework Services also Force Closes whenever I first turn it on or/and when I connect via Wifi. It's annoying and even after the guides I've read, I can seem to fix this. Although I'd love to get the rest of my Google Apps to work, like the Calendar, I'd be far happier if I could get the FC messages to stop appearing.
Anyone know how to fix this? If I remove that apk, will it stop my Google Play and other Google Apps from working?
Hi, it looks like Google already started allowing people to merge Google Voice and Hangouts...but not for me yet. I've already installed Hangouts 2.3 and the new dialer, but still no luck.
Wondering if anyone knows how to manually trigger my account to allow merging of Google Voice and Hangouts?

Looks like there isn't. At least nothing that has worked for more than a user here or there. Guess we gotta be patient on this one.
have root have google apps installed and play store working but am not reciving google voice sms in hangouts unless the app is open
anyone know what else i need to install to get it working like it dose on my phone were it gets them all the time and puts something in the notification bar?? thanks for the help

Google Play woks fine, I've succeded in syncing contacts ones during googlefer installation...but then stopped in syncing. Also I don' have any notifications from gapps.

I don't think notifications work from anything you install from play store, Or that uses play services, I have the same issue. But it's better than nothing I guess
Gmail notifications works. Contact Sync not working, and it Is not possibile to activate Google Assistant with "hey google"...
