As for your concerns, there is a search button at the top and the desire to not make 10 threads about a same subject. Searching through them isn't fun, but neither is answering the same question over and over again. That seemed to be the main problem I saw through your posts, and you'll find the same kind of people in all forums so I suggest you just stay off the internet if you want to be away from these kinds of people

If my memory serves me right I remember there was an exploit for the OG Evo that used the flashlight app or apk to obtain some kind of perma root. I have the flashlight app on my E3D and was wondering could the same exploit be used.

Dude I keep reading these posts...the exploit was with Flash Lite, ie Adobe Flash. Not the flashlight lol.

I obtained root through the USB port.
So I was at work while I got flamed. Now what was the point of some of you guys acting like assholes? Ok fine the exploit was with Adobe that's cool leave it at that? ****s wrong with people being assholes on a internet forum here for people to learn from each other? Are you guys teaching "How to be an asshole 101"? A simple explanation is all that was needed I didn't have a hand in anything to do with the OG EVO being rooted tho I loved the Hell outta my phone. I didn't wanna be just answer person not contributing instead just take take take and I get flamed for no knowing the million dollar answer. ****in assholes I guess you have the keys to unlock the bootloader on your SD card huh.

Hey I been flamed plenty of times on xda as well as other forums. Don't take it personal.
Worst time was when I put neons on my Honda Accord and posted a pic of it on a Honda Modding forum. I swear it was about ten pages of flaming me calling my car a Christmas Tree and what not. It looked like something out of a Tron movie. I guess street glow wasn't cool anymore.
It was a good try nonetheless. To achieve results sometimes requires the most ridiculous (by some standards) methods. I agree not to take the flaming personal though. Firing back won't make the people stop. Ignoring their flames is probably your best bet. That or simply reporting the post, as it not only is counter-productive, but doesn't encourage the throwing of ideas, no matter what they are.
Is it me or is the 3D forums filled with a bunch of dicks compared to the 4G? That's it I'm returning my phone cause of it...BUT Not before I ***** to HTC on their FB PAGE.

Ok ppl I think that by now we all should now, about the dip**** that apple did to HTC n let's be serious no troll in and **** ok, I think that all the carriers could teach a lesson to apple, cuz let's face it Apple compare to android is nothin, and I think that the most of the income in the carriers become from android and a big part from HTC, I think that the carriers should stop selling iPhone until they decide to back their **** back.

Ah, true about Wall Street, however, now we have Occupy Everywhere Else, or as known online "October 15". Which is basically a worldwide protest in over 100+ cities.
Since the protests are basically unorganized shambles that are protesting everything that is basically unliked I figured I would "protest" as well against that which I hate the most: trolls.

Recently XDA has been getting out of hand with trolling, but I feel that much of the classic XDA is still around. Which is still why I'm here
Don't worry much about those that do not appreciate the little things, like a thanks, here and there, or those who insist on bashing people for reasons I can't even comprehend. They will always be there, trying to bring you and everyone else down to their level. Just rise above and be the better person, and you have.

Some folks here can't appreciate what they have, that's why. They are the type of people who say, "Man, I just won this brand new Ferrari, but the gas mileage sucks." Can't just enjoy what's in front of them. I notice that here from time to time. Really is a buzz kill though.
