I'm using Xron 2.7. I get about 7 hours, more or less of pretty normal use. It will go down maybe 5% overnight. I'm not sure what the battery life would be without using the oc, I've been using it since I installed android. I have webos oc'd, using Uberkernel @ 192 min and 1.7 max.

1.7 doesn't even appear as an option on my Uberkernel. 1.5 is tops. How are you setting 1.7?
Thanks.

Thanks! So the 1.7 OC is a beta feature, not an official release yet? I guess I hadn't had my coffee yet as I didn't pay attention to the reference to Master Free in the title of the thread. This isn't available as on of the options in Govnah.
Thanks again and sorry for the dumb question.

Not all processors manufactured are the same, they are all different, so have different OC peaks.

Nope, it's never been added to any of our kernels.
Could you explain why you want to control the cpu voltage, please ?
Edit : Thanks

Save battery life by undervolting. Admittedly I rarely do on my Tab, but there you go.

I think same
Yes, SetVsel is the best!
i also think it better thank setcpu..
hi! setVsel seems to be incompatible with defy + rom by walter...everytime i try to launch it, the phone reebots...any solution to this problem? thanks in advance!
The same here with stock Defy+ (only rooted). Restart after running app.
setvsel all the way.
Setvsel is better for Defy, but when using CM7 rom, you don't such programs
Im using setvsel and its the best, setcpu doesn't work on my defy on standard rom it wouldn't let me overclock.

Overclock/Undervolt has already included in CM7, so why you need to install it.

lowered buffers, disabled some debugging, and changes in mach-venturi
About kernel, 1,7ghz makes many apps unusable, apps just close just after opening. Performance in benchmarks isn't much better, but in games, you can feel the difference. Shadowgun deadzone playable
Good job. I will use it until I install ubuntu anywhere and make my own kernel
Also, please consider using BFS as it gives quite a good boost.
+ those touchscreen values are better:

How'd you manage to overclock the GPU? I haven't seen it all that much for the Exynos 3110 devices. Great work by the way.

Much better. It worked.

Kernel Adiutor

It lets you turn off the cores; which I found useful in games like chaos rings 3(makes the phone damned hot). I had two of the lower powered cores running with no lag. I don't understand why these games even use all the cpu power; probably just inefficient I guess. I bought the donate app as I want to support the dev for the hard work. Really recommend this to root users.
anyone tried to tweak governor settings? should be possible to get out more performance with the right settings.
Know of any good options for extending battery life? So far i've disabled the big cores.
Tried using "trickster mod" but so far it was installed on my phone the cores kept working on 1300 :S when uninstalled it went back to 324 (smth like that). weird, ill try what you have recommended!

Be sure to apply on boot
Unfortunately this comunity it´s dead because we can do great things with this app... But we need a new kernel... Unfortunately this it´s not going to happen...
You'll never know
Did you disable the two "big" cores, or 2 of the LITTLE ones?

I have been using the following settings with apply on boot.
I have noticed a decrease in heat and the battery seems to last much longer when doing simple tasks such as web browsing.
Hopefully this helps you! [emoji1]
