First of all i'd like to thank for amazing ROM!
But i have a question regarding T9 dictionaries in original (default) keyboard:
is it possible to make T9 work in other languages except English in different applications? I tried English, Russian, Hebrew, Greek, and there is no T9 in browser for example. It works perfect in the latest original release of 2.1 (by Sonyericsson), and as I checked with a friend T9 works fine also in Android 2.3.4 with Samsung Galaxy S II.
Is there anyway to make it work?

I recently bought a Touch Dual from Orange UK, and i'd like to know if i could change it's language to Portuguese, i prefer the windows mobile in English, but when i'm writing a text message in Portuguese, the T9 is in English.

if yuo prefer English yuo need only select yuor language in xt9 options!
you have the original rom or a cooked one?
I prefer Portuguese on messages.
The ROM is in English, but this is ok for me.
What i wanted is to disable the T9.

I just got an HTC Hero in Singapore and it only comes with English and Chinese. I would however like to add French as an input language. Any idea ?
you need a custom HTC_IME for the language keybaords
so far the only ones I have encountered are the:
HTC_IME: english
HTC_IME: chinese
HTC_IwinnI: Japanese
Does anyone know if there's Russian keyboard with Russian speech recognition available? I know for sure that Froyo stock keyboard supports Russian typing and voice recognition, the only problem is that for some reason, froyo leak that we have is limited to only English and Spanish. For example on my wife's DInc, she has Russian support in stock froyo keyboard as well, among with many other languages.
Tried adding Russian locale, that doesn't help. I need froyokeyboard.apk that supports many languages (including Russian), not just English and Spanish.

samsung keypad had russian before update to FROYO.
I switch to Paragon Keyboard. There are not any voice recognition, ъ too.

Go Keyboard has a Russian plugin, not sure if it supports voice or not.

I would like to know if it's possible to download the french language pack for the motorola keyboard,
Because it seems I just have the French canadian and that give me a qwerty keyboard instead of an azerty
Any possibility to download it or a french guy when the orange atrix become the GB update can give me a file?

I have no idea about blur-roms and the official motorola keyboard. However, I'm currently using Swype and just checked, it has an excelent AZERTY keyboard for the French language. I also type faster with it then ever before, perhaps you wanna give that a try
Otherwise, if you wanna go rogue, unlock that BL and install a custom ROM, you can always use CM7, as it also supports AZERTY on stock android keyboard

Just go to paramètres > Langue et clavier > Sélectionner la langue...
and select : Français (France) ( it means azerty )
For french dictionary, choose another Keyboard from market, for instance Smart Keyboard, then download a french dictionary for that!
OK but I would like to use the azerty keyboard with the French dictionary. Not an other keyboard
edit: the french dictionary seems not to be installed, and by choosing the french canadian it give me an qwerty even if I choose french for the language of the phone

I'm not Finnish and I cannot speak or read Finnish, but there are several apps on the market which say they are Finnish keyboards. I don't think there's Finnish on the stock Android Keyboard, so try these apps:
