Extended Battery Case?? - Motorola Photon 4G

I got a mugen extended battery for x-mas and was wondering if anyone knew of a case for the extended fit? I've looked all over but unable to find one. Thanks

I have been looking for one, for weeks now, Ebay, Amazon sor far nobody carry them. Even if is a TDP one. I just cannot carry the phone naked.

Well it looks like noone is even reading or sayin anything about a case for this phone with the extended battery.

I'm looking at the mugen extended battery. How is it working out for you? Pro's.. Con's?
Tks

It works great but I went back to the stock battery. I was bangin up my phone to much without a case.

Have you considered getting a silicone case?
Just do a quick google search/
May be worth looking at and it should stretch over the battery.

X batt case.
Have you looked at Seido cases? My understanding is tht they make a case tht works with their xtended batt and cover. Hope this helps.

I just ordered an extended battery. Am going to attempt to mod my otter box so it fits. I will post pics when I get the battery and nod done with a how to.

Sprint has a case for the HTC EVO that will work.

Link? Would love to see it!

I'm sorry It's a leather pouch you wear on your belt. Not a wrap around the phone type of case. My bad.

This would be the holy grail of photon accessories. Just performed a painstaking search of amazon and the seidio site (I saw that they sometimes make compatible cases), unfortunately, came up with nothing.
There's another thread about extended batteries where one of the people is going to attempt to modify his Otterbox Defender, and give instructions on how to do the same. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23379692&postcount=12
Here's hoping someone addresses the need for extended batteries sans naked phone.

Modded Holster
Don't know if this helps the predicament, but if you just try to add a few more millimeters on each side of the holster that's being sold at the sprint store (i did this with foam stickers) your phone will slide right in and stay snug. Not exactly a case, but i found that i haven't yet dropped my phone by using a holster. (fingers crossed)

Biggest Battery Capacity in Stock Size?

I'm wonder if there is any batteries out there that you have seen from a brand you trust that use the stock diamentions as the stock battery, eg doesn't require extended back casing, only one I know of is the Seidio's 1400mAh, is there anything higher? Better brand, better price?
the only ones i've seen bigger have the extended batteries. they go up to 2600mAh.
buy one. believe me. its worth the big back/ugly bump.
function>aesthetics anyday(at least for me)
I already have one 2600mAh from Seidio, I do enjoy the extra grip when qwerty typing but I don't enjoy it in my pocket. Thus the reason I'm asking, rather get 2 x 1400mAh batts and shove one in my wallet if you know what I mean
i feel the exact opposite. i dont mind it as much when im not using it. when im holding it i cant stand it. but i do like the fact i dont have to keep a charger handy all the time. i know theres a couple normal size batteries around that SAY there 1600mAh and up but there kind of shaky to me. no brand name, barely even a name at all half the time. i wont trust anything besides seidio for extended life, i have a seidio 3400mAh i think in my tilt and its EPIC.

so it seems like it may not be entirely beneficial to get the 1600(or 1700) mah battery?
Keep in mind that only HTC original batteries have the finest "part" in switching into tickle charge mode (the moment when the battery gets full and quits charging)
2600 mAh battery on G1
Hey guys, so I purchased a 2600 mAh battery for my G1. I LOVE it! My G1 stays on for days! Despite having the extended back on the phone I think it was well worth it.I got it on EBay for pretty darn cheap too. Anyways...I don't have any screen shots of it as of right now but I'll try to get some up. My phone does look like a brick but the battery life is improved so much! Look them up on EBay if you would like to buy one, anywhere else is probably a rip off. Anyways...just thought I'd give my two cents. Take it easy guys! TTYL!
I really want the Seidio 2600 but I've gotten attached to my hard case, it has the hinged feet, and I'm not sure that 1400 would be worth the cash for the amount gained IMO... If Seidio made a hard case with the feet on the back it would be perfect.
Just bought a seidio 2600, 51 shipped from amazon. It's a little high compaired to the 2300 for like 30 or so from ebay, but I think it's worth it for a good branded 3rd party accessory.

people have been talking about a 1600mah battery made by Andida, a Hong Kong-based company. from what it seems, they make quality batteries and some people at XDA have them. it fits into the regular G1 back... it's on ebay: obo_hk or something. $10. otherwise yeah the 2600mah seidio's are best. i just bought the seidio or would switch to the Andida. maybe my dad will let me do a return since the Seidio was bought on Amazon

PowerSkin experience with DX2?

Hello! Has anyone gotten the Droid X/ X2 PowerSkin case for their X2? I was curious how well it worked.
Thanks in advance!
Sent from my DROID X2 using XDA App
I haven't tried the power skin, but I know the Seidio Active case for the DX works perfectly. It has two layers, one rubber, and then a hard shell that goes around it. But it's pretty skinny, they also have a skinnier one layer hard shell that works for it too. They both keep the shape of the phone and both protect it really well! They are also rather cheap on the price! Around $30!

Thanks - I have used those and I like them. But this is a type of case with a built in battery. Here's from their web site:
http://www.power-skin.com/battery-cases/ap1503mdx/motorola-droidx-powerskin.html
They're pricey and I was curious to get anyone's input on how good they are before I took the plunge on one myself.
Oh sh*t! That's awesome!

wish i would of saw this before tonight i just bought a extended battery and otterbox case(which i love otterbox). but this is really cool. if i dont like my extended battery ill have to give this a shot if you guys review it well.
Here is great thread for you DX2 user wonder to get a powerskin. I have one and have no complaints. It works just like what I suppose to do. Once in a while my phone gets hot in a charge/discharge. This is because the phone is charging and the skin is discharging and when the skin discharges it produces heat. So just don't use it heavily or it will bring the phone to over heating. I have provided a great link from the Evo forums to help DX2 owners if you want to get a PowerSkin. If your are interested just click the link below to here about other Evo users opinions.

Case with kickstand

Please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers HTC/Sprint mentioning that case with kickstand for the EVO 3D. I just put the phone on order and been looking for that one case all over online. Is it supposed to be an OEM case sold by Sprint only or something? Anyone has any clue?
Case should be available same day you go pick up the phone... Sprint and radio shack will have the case probably best buy as well

Thanks, though I ordered the phone from Amazon Wireless. I'm not getting it on contract, so I'm paying full price for it, which Sprint is having for $549, while Amazon for $469. Kind of a no brainer.
I tried eBay and the likes, no luck. Then I go for google, and it seems HTCPedia has them listed but out of stick or backordered. So basically no luck so far. Hopefully you're right and they have it at the Sprint retailer when I go there as soon as I get the phone.
When i ordered my E3D through sprint this morning one of the accessories available was something called an 'easel case' or something along those lines. It looked like the official ones shown before but the picture was only from the front so I couldn't tell for sure. It also said it had 3 levels of tilt or something like that which I was unfamiliar with from the one we're looking for. It was listed as $45 so I decided against it in case it's not the right one. I'll probably check the store on Friday.
edit:
went back into the premier store and found evo3D accessories. good thing I didn't order it!

it looked very similar from the front in the very small picture they have at the end of checkout, but i though easel case sounded wrong. Guess we're back to square one.

cool, but i think that every evo case should cover the camera opening and just have cutouts for that lenses and flash/speaker.
Ill hold out for someone to make a hybrid poly/tpu case that covers the camera and has the kickstand. till then ill just use my otterbox defender for day to day and my tpu case from tpucases.com for light duty when I cant have it on my belt (formal dinners and such)
i dont see what the big deal is with the camera. i have had my evo from launch day and it has been naked about 95% of the time (had a seidio case for a bit) and my camera lens is perfectly fine and i am far from careful. dropped may times, always in my pocket, fell down the stairs etc etc.

It appears to me, comparing this picture to the Evo 3D in my hands, that the kickstand is on the wrong side for me....would not allow charging? HTC one appears to allow charging by reversing the phone. BTW, I confirm...3D works either way in landscape mode (with micro usb up or down).
Edit: I am assuming that the rounded end is the side that extracts and rests on the table/desk

Can you let me know how that Otterbox works out for you if you decide to get it? I'm interested in getting a case too but I haven't been able to find out that doesn't add a significant amount of bulk on it...
Well I got the otterbox commuter series and to me it is well worth it.. im the type of person that does not like bulk and this case adds almost none for the amount of protection it gets from this awesome case.. it has an inner skin that covers all home keys and all ports including headphones usb etc.. then there is a nice hard outter shell.. phone feels great in my hand so I would say real nice case and I recommend

If you want a case that adds no bulk then I think the best option is this knock off to the case-mate barely there series. You can find it at monoprice.com for dirt cheap. As long as all you want it to be able to do is protect it from scratches.

If you order one from amazon, contact the seller and tell them to read the batch number on the back. If it's SNN5893A, don't buy it.
You likely wont find a battery that offers a lot more power and is the same size as stock. I have a 3800mah extended battery, well over double the stock battery, and it's double the thickness. It came with a shock resistant case too. I love this thing. I haven't charged my phone since Saturday, and I used to have to do so every night.
For a small battery boost, you can try Motorola's extended battery, which I think is 1750mah.
Remember that when searching for batteries, you can also use the original X batteries. This applies to cases too as far as I know.

Seidio active... I like but no screen protector... any suggestions that work with this case?
Sent from my MB870 using XDA App
I also have a seidio active. It is a two part case with a soft rubber inner and rigid rubber/poly? outside. (the outside is not plastic Great protection, minimal bulk.
The otterbox's are very nice, but do get bulky.
i've got the bh6x, totally not worth it, if I had it to do over again I'd get a stupid huge battery like that 3800mah. I have an otterbox commuter, its in a drawer somewhere. what a pain in the ass that case was.
I've been caseless for a while now. don't know why I ever put that stupid crap on my phone, all it did was make the damn thing run hotter and hold dirt against the phone, scratching the crap out of it. and when I'd sweat it would always think my finger was touching the screen on the side where the case slightly overlapped the gorilla glass.
I basically work in construction (audiovisual field engineer/lead installation tech/commissioning engineer) and my phone gets abused. flat out. zero issues, one scratch on the screen (caused by the otterbox) but whatever, it's a phone, it's not a freakin decoration!
and you kids, whining about bulk should have carried around an early windows mobile smartphone. you wanna talk about bulk? the entire X2 could just about fit inside the battery compartment of my old 8125. I kinda wish this phone had more "bulk" so it would actually fill up my hand.
hell, I miss being able to tell which pocket my phone was in by feel.
I use the OtterBox "all rubber case" I forget the model and just cut out the key area so you have direct access to the keys. I do not even use the battery door anymore with this case. It will handle any battery this way. I use it with a screen protection of course . Get the x or x2 ver.
The best part about the Motorola extended battery is that it's slim enough to fit inside most if not all cases. I have it and it lasts me all day and has been compatible with every case I've ever owned.

so could i buy a regular otterbox defender for rezound and then just not use the back and put it on my extended battery rezound.
That really gonna protect your phone when u drop it on the back
its still probably better then a stock extended battery silicone case.
lololol i wonder if they're taking the backs out of the packaging and selling it for like 2 dollars cheaper hahah...extended battery version my ass.
Could you imagine how thick this bastard would be if they actually had a defender with the back for the extended? I'd have to get the oversized giant jackass pants like all the kids are wearing these days. It definitely wouldn't fit in my skinny jean pockets!!
i might buy the defender on amazon for 27 bucks and just take the back off. i love the way the buttons feel.
IT actually protects well best option for protection with the extended battery. I actuall took the back dremeled out the area for the extended back and it works great. U be dropped my phone on concrete and asphalt and no damage.
i wanted to see what it was like in person before deciding to buy one but no one seems to have it in stock(verizon store, best buy, etc).

i got my defender in today for my rezound. it is so much better then the Verizon extended battery. the buttons are so much easier to hit the buttons and it feels alot better in my hands. i got it for 18 bucks used on amazon.
Well I thought the Rezound was all ready fat with the extended battery. That case adds another 6 inches to it. You probably can't even fit it into your pocket with that case on.
