Welcome to SenselessROM - For those who want the look of stock AOSP / Gingerbread but with functionality of Sense! All Apps are up to date as of 1/11/2012.
The ROM has been stripped of most of the Sense and associated files but the Dialer and some other features remain due to the tight integration the RUU has with Sense.
ROM is de-odexed and based on official Verizon RUU 1.02.605.6.
Changes in version 1.1 - 1/11/2012
Tuned: Performance and Battery life
Added: Extended Quick Settings
Added: Social Network Framework for Sense on SD Card
Added: VZW Boot Animation
Updated: All Apps
Known Issue:
When an incoming call is present you will need to unlock the screen to see who is calling.
Battery charging animation is not correct.

Going to download now!
EDIT: Flashing now
EDIT 2: Up and running... good so far... was surprised at the removal of the sense lock screen, but I didn't use it much.
I was running Ziggy's kernel. These ROMs do not flash the kernel, so I guess I need to reflash the extra files for the kernel again. BAH the complications of unlocked. LOL Will report back with an update.

Good to see a de-sensed rom. will give it a try

Ok doing great. Fixed the WiFi error and all is golden.

The one caused by Ziggy's kernel if you do not flash an updated ramdisk info into the /system partition.

Of course... Its great!
You changed out the boot animation. (thank goodness... unless I'm crazy/er)
Miss the percentage battery icon though. Baby steps I guess.
Scott's ROMs are the best ROMs
(Though I may be unfaithful when CM9/ICS hits)
Even though I haven't tried any of the others available for us yet.

Do you even see a boot anim? I thought I removed it all together?

Just a plain HTC screen the whole time. It may make it hard to know when we get a boot hang though.

Yeah... I was trying to trim it down as far as I could and the customize folder was like near 40 megs so I just chucked the whole thing, lol

HAHA...
Yeah a nice simple boot animation is fine. That stock one was tacky awful.

My fiance is a graphics designer... that means she is picky about visuals.
She isn't happy with any themes in the market for the launchers, nor themes she has found for the ROMs.
Long story short, she wants to help build a theme. Possibly for ROMs and GO launcher/ADW.
I really don't know enough to help her out, and of course she really doesn't know how to theme. So she is willing to work with anyone that has experience in getting a theme put together.
Basically she needs to know what elements are themeable, dimensions needed for the images, proper file formats, and any other pertinent info. She can do all the visuals, she just needs help packaging them into a working flashable theme.
Anybody interested hit me up. Goes for you too Scott... Maybe we can hook you up with an awesome custom theme for all of your ROMs.
Side note: I managed to get an image file (the ROM logo) to act as a hyperlink to this thread. Its just so... big... think you could make a smaller version? Something about a couple inches long.
Side note 2: She is already online looking up info and taking notes. Help is always good, and the actual turning it all into a working theme is still something that needs another's help.

This is running awesome on stock kernel. Nice work Scott!

Actually I have an official set of Logo's on my website. You can use the ones here: http://www.scottsroms.com/content.php?12-Logos!
You may also resize them to a size of your choosing and upload them into your sig block.

This will be great! I really hope your wife can get with Scott and make this happen! I would love to have some really nice themes for Go Launcher and CleanRom (Sense and Senseless).

Ill give this a try when you get the unlocking bug fixed. For now, I froze all the Sense crap in RezRom and dont feel like setting everything up again.

Not my thing, back to cool blue for now. This theme is nice, but I don't like the boxed in notification icons (matter of personal taste). Thanks for porting all these themes though!

not even going to get into it. you got your credit for doing a port of someone else's (DINIK) icons to android and selling it. happy?
and fyi, cm7 and atrix are in no way alike so i did just as much renaming, decompiling/compiling, resizing, and customizations as you.

"I wanted to make a more involved theme and I always liked Anastasia on my Tilt2 so I thought I'd bring it to the Atrix."
sure sounds like he is taking credit for bringing anastasia over.
and no, he posted a link to dinik's original anastasia. not to my theme. there is a lot more in this theme than dinik's icon.
sure we can all get along -- when people respect other's work. how hard is it to ask permission to use my work? how hard is it to give credit where credit is due? answer - not hard. really, it isn't.

no--it isn't a port. i used his template. every single icon is otherwise put together by me. i gave credit. really. how hard is it to give credit? i am happy you enjoyed my work. next time, really, a simple pm and a link is all i ask. but judging by your attitude you won't. i just don't get people sometimes...

right - but you didn't make the icons, did you?. you didn't resize, shade, color them, come up with the color scheme, make things consistent, did you? really, next time a simple pm and you would have had my support, advertisement and original files. but you chose this way/ this attitude. i just don't get why the pushback.

Its pretty sweet.....
one issue I noticed right away from the video is that when you swipe to different home screens the live wallpaper moves some...like the evo 4g wallpaper did. So this will limit how its viewed on our device sense we have to have static images......
people have been asking to port this to phones for a while.. not sure we'll ever see it

Wallpapers only static on Sense 3.0 Launcher because of the way the pages turn (Carousel). I use Launcher Pro and the wallpaper works the same as on the Evo 4G.

Y'all need to get out more...I been had these for a while, lol.
These were done by user Jschmier, originally in the EEEpad forum, them resized in the Incredible2 forum.
These worked fine one the OGEVO, and work fine on my 3DeeVo.
I put the ones I currently run in a .zip, if there are any themes I missed, check the original forums I mentioned...
I've posted this before somewhere, but I guess it was back before I went 3d.
Lmk if they work for you, and if you hit my 'thanks' button, please take care of Jschmier's as well..All I did was put a bunch in a zipfile...
Enjoy.
http://db.tt/gsfOXwN
EDIT: BTW, these work perfectly fine with Sense 3.0 (or 2.1 for that matter)
I dunno what all that 'must use static screen' was about.
No need to use another launcher, unless you want to for other reasons..
EDIT2: If someone wants to take the time to resize these EXACTLY, be my guest...It's explained in his thread, and I've gone through all that before..You have to extract, alter a couple of numbers in the apk, rezip, rename back to .apk, zipalign, and resign each one..Meh. It's a pain, but it makes it easy to switch out the 'icecube' for, say, a fishing cork (been done).
Anyone feeling creative?

Since 'you' can't write to /system/app, I'm assuming the .apk is just ending up uninstalled, in /lost&found or /cache. Just extract the .zip file with a file manager on your phone, then choose the wallpaper you want, and install from /sdcard/extracted/ or whichever location your file manager defaults to..

any reason to change rom or update?

Im Currently running Bamf 1.8 remix

kernel - 2.6.32.21_bamf_4.4.7 - g21c0620-dirty by adrynaline @1 (sat may 7)
build - 1.13.605.7 das bamf remix 1.8
software build - 1.13.605.7
Is there any dramatic reason i should change roms or update to something newer? I enjoyed Bamf but they are gone and their website i swear hasn't been updated with new roms in a long time...
any points in directions of what to do would be sick
new better kernels?
better roms?
better radios?

If I were you, which I'm not, but follow me here...
I'd follow the link in my sig. I'd flash the MR2 or higher radio and make the switch to Gingerbread with Synergy. I was a BAMF disciple and Virus and Co. switched me over to Synergy.
They pump out nightlies every night or two and they're all stable enough to be daily drivers.
Gingerbread is where it's at and Sense 3.0 will make your head spin.
You can thank me later!

The only thing that is not on ANY Gingerbread build is VM notification. BUT it's not like it's that hard to dial *86 or speed dial 1 and hear the prompt that reminds you no one loves you.
At least that's what happens to me.
Lemme get some screen shots of my Synergy set up for you. I'll post another post in a couple of minutes.

Should I be using that "Stock Kernel" that's listed, or is the kernel in the ROM good enough to use? That looks pretty amazing though from the screens.
I'm running Gingeritis 3D Beta VII with the MR 3.0 radio and it seems to be running pretty well.

Well I'm on the MR3 Radio and I use the kernel baked into the download. It's from Ziggy and we're the only ROM that he gives his permission to use his kernel. He makes one of, if not the, best kernels out.
There are other backgrounds you can use. I use that one because it's orange and green for my U!!! []_ _[]

My front facing camera works just fine. I use it for Skype on my Bolt regularly.
First:
Download the MR3 Radio (which I'm on) from here:http://devious-intentions.info/modules.php?name=Downloads&cid=6
Scroll to the bottom and click the "Download" button.
Second:
Download the latest nightly from the link in my sig.
Third:
Check MD5 sums of both files.
Install:
1) Flash Radio via Hboot
2) Go into CWR, wipe 3x (data, cache, dalvik and battery stats)
3) Install ROM from SD
4) Reboot and enjoy.

I gotta say from the bootscreen to the lockscreen so far I'm diggin' it. I had never heard/seen a Synergy ROM before this one....I may be hooked. Does this one have any known issues that would keep me from using it as my daily driver?

I'm actually downloading the 8/9 nightly now.
I haven't experienced any issues that would.
Check out the weather lockscreen. That you will LOVE!
Go to Personalize -> Lock Screen -> Select the Weather Lockscreen -> Apply and turn off the screen. Turn on your screen and squeal with joy. LOL

Yeah if you have any questions in the future, just PM me or check out the thread for the ROM, they're really cool about answering "noob" questions. McLabia and C_Live_Lee are good guys.
Enjoy Gingerbread and Synergy. Welcome aboard.
simplest way to go back? to what im at right now.. the bamf remix.. what do i need to flash before ..before i flash my backup

Ziggy also supplies kernels for Chingy's Gingeritus ROMs, which is who Virus got the new base that Synergy is built on. The Ziggy kernel in Gingeritus is largely the same as the Synergy kernel and is certainly one of his better kernels. Not all Ziggy kernels are winners since you just can't tweak a kernel every night or 2 and actually test the thing.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Videocamera : Use VideoCam Illusion
Slight Lag possible on screen transitions

The graphics related issues are due to not having proper drivers to use for this. Don't ask for an ETA on a fix. Moto won't be giving us the drivers, so there is no fix

I tested this for a short time. Has a really nice boot animation. Just be sure to follow instructions and flash gapps...else you'll have no home button...LOL
So this isnt really a problem but just something that I noticed. When I put beautiful widgets on my home screen it leaves a space up top and doesnt fit all the way at the top of the screen.
Edit: So.... thinking that this was actually an issue I flashed back to my nandroid backup just to realize that it has always done this. :/ haha

Has anyone had any soft reboots? My son was using toddler lock and the phone soft rebooted right back into the app...just fyi ill see if I can reboot but I had to nandroid back to cm7 as I need the full function of the phone plus I found that the multi touch issues in games like wild blood still exist. Otherwise this is my favorite JB rom besides pacman maybe this with pa functions? Lol just a thought thanks for everything you've done...one question, have you looked into perfecting a cm7 rom? Just figured I'd ask

LS is good stuff. It's got a fair amount of options for being as small as it is (95MB or thereabouts, it's about the size of a GB ROM). I forgot to install Gapps and I got about what Bill said would happen. Wasn't that bad, just a little tricky to get around. Installing Gapps, of course, sorted it.
It didn't really do anything above and beyond any other ROM I tried, so I flashed back to PAC Man. I'll have to try King Kang next.
I love sleek ROMs I'll have your gsm info for both the next two days

No problem bill. Its the least i could do.
So take this with a grain of salt if you would, but....Ive got a concept im working on atm, a photon original of you will. Say i ever finish in a timely manner, where would u recommend the project be hosted. Huge WIP, but you really have inspired me to get back into development and basic coding, while its a steep learning curve from where i left off, i think im moving along fairly well, thanks to all you've done for this phone. I might be keeping in touch to maybe ask a few questions here and there, but we'll see. Thanks a bunch bill!
Ive Pac'ked my bags, and am on my PacMopho. *Cheers*
Quick question, what do the notification toggles look like. AOKP, CM10, or CNA? Or can you choose between them?
CodeNamed JellyBean MoPho

[ROM][4.1.2]Pimpdroid 1.0 quincyatt (discontinued)

Pimpdroid
Restl3ss
Fed up with the stock jellybean rom? Yeah, me too. between all the bloatware and the frankly HIDEOUS ui skin, basically you end up having something that's Slow, Stupid, and just plain ugly. That's where pimpdroid comes in. Pimpdroid is, plain and simple, a totally PIMPED OUT version of that bowser samsung calls touchwiz. Pimpdroid has a re-themed "deuglied" and ghettoized system ui, several speed and network optimizations, has been made much more user friendly, and best of all, it's DEBLOATED. this rom comes with a guarantee of at least one "awww yeea son" per flash. full feature list and download links below. Pimp suit and diamond cane not included.
Features;
-Android 4.1.2
-Phase kernel
-Debloated
-Deodexed
-Zipaligned
-Re-themed system UI
-APEX launcher
- Support overclock to 1836
-Rooted with SuperSU
-Busybox pre-installed
-Flash player installed
-Pimpmyrom installed for further tweaking
-Network optimizations
-wifi speed optimizations
Bugs;
None that I know of. Tell me?

What Inspired said. I think it's obvious from his last try I'm a rather large skeptic of this dev, but he was taking shots at Samsung -- not ptmr and big. Hopefully this ROM can start adding more stability to JB 4.1.2. As, despite our best devs best efforts, even debloated stocks have more mixed reviews than even the most unstable ICS builds of past.
Would be nice if someone can make this rom flashable for us lonely and desperate tmobile users who are stuck with random reboots and no new roms...I like avatar n liquidsmooth but this would be nice to try out on tmobile note 1

maybe your ROM here has some stylings that others don't, but is it really necessary to bad mouth somebody elses ROM ?
I mean, you didn't mention any names but really, there are only 2 others out there. those are some pretty big shoes to fill.
those other 2 ROMS may be on the more basic side or have little to no theming to them, BUT, they are ROCK solid. you are not showing a whole lot of respect here. I crave some more theming, but the proof is in the pudding here my friend.
good luck and lets see some screenies. will be waiting for a bit of feedback from some experienced folk before I test drive.

***edit*** I see others said the same after my refresh but I'll still add my 2cents
Hey, I don't think he was talking about the other dev roms. He clearly mentioned stock Jb and while some of his points could be interpreted as you did, I don't see that as his intent. OP maybe explicitly state in the first post that your not talking about dev roms or something like that.
I'm one of those that's running just stock rooted Jb and not one of the 2 dev modified roms. That may be why my perspective is different. If anything he's dissing Samsung haha

Judging by the screen shots, this is your first foray into theming. If you would like some pointers, like how to properly edit some of the indexed images...feel free to hit me up via pm. I am no expert at theming, but I think I might be able to help add a little polish.
