Hello! I am a noob at the moment when it comes to stuff of this sort, but im not a noob with android and flash and stuff. Anyway back to my question. I have a EVO 3D. I plan to flash it to boost mobile. I already found a guide and video that teach me how to do it. My question is, do I need to have the boost mobile phone with me when I flash it to boost mobile? I currently have sprint and dont know what I need to have. Also the person in the video said they ported their phone number, can anyone explain this any better?
Please I really need help. All I need to know is what information from the boost mobile account/phone do I need and how do I get it?
I see nobody can help me here. Can somebody direct me to the correct area to ask for help

I am trying to get an optimus-s on boost
Hi guys i have a LG-P506 on android 2.2.1 or better know as Thrive that is SIM locked to AT&T US and i suddenly wanted to unlock it and Root it in order to give it to my Sister which is in T-Mobile US. and i was looking around and coulnt find an easy or any wa at all to unlock this phone.
so is there a way to unlock it? does any one knows a way to unlock this phone or knows of a guide or whatever can help me unlock it?
I tried freeulock.com and they dont do ****.
so if anyone can help please i do need to do this for her asap.

First, ask AT&T to remove the SIM lock. They will in most cases, just ask them. After unlocking the SIM, flash clockworkmod recovery, root, and then flash a custom rom and kernel. Viola. Hope this helps and isn't too late.

I saw a previous thread and someone had the exact same one and only he was able to root and get it to the actual stock rom of the real gs3. There must be a way to do this but I need someone to give me a link to a specific tutorial to do this. Someone please reply and and tell me what I can do. I'm still a noon at this stuff so try to explain everything in depth.. Thanks!
Wrong section dude. As you say its a fake, i don't know if even on the Q&A section you will get an answer, but try posting there.

If the hardware is different then your more liable to brick your device, i'm afraid youre going to get very little help if thats the case.
Also, this is the development section, you don't ask questions in it.
