Can anybody tell me which are the top most downloaded for each year 2011 and 2012 roms right know, that are fully working

What do you mean by "top rom"? The most downloaded? The latest software? The fastest?
Either way, like I tell everyone who asks this, there is no "best rom" for everyone. Everyone has different needs/wants in a rom. The beauty of rooting is you can try out a rom for a few days, and if you don't like it, flash another. Just try out a few and see what you like.

I agree it's what the person wants and likes just depends on what they are looking for nothing is top #1 Just overall the looks and what you want on your phone... It's whatever your lookin for a bunch of folks prefer diffrent things.. Not one rom is the same non are # 1 just fun
Mean ROM and Clean ROM are the two best daily drivers you can find!!!!
They are fast, stable and good on the battery.
Also, great dev support.

You clearly haven't tried viperom....I mean its the most popular and it definitely has the best support. Vin and viper dedicate so much time.

I don't think he was saying that viperROM doesn't have good support, but rather that MeanROM does have great support.
I have been using Fresh. I don't know if it is the best or even good. It works well for me and I need my phone for grown-up (work) things, so I don't have time to try them all out. I wish someone would tell me which one is great and uses sense and has the most going for it.
Lol stock builds you tend to squeeze some nice battery life from. But again it boils down to what the op prefers.
Nothin is top lol. Most devs offer support if you get stuck . I offer help on my own builds or to whoever needs help . I bounce around here.
Most builds have dates that tell you how new it is. If you go to a overclocked rom your battery life won't be the best. Just depends on what you want.

You're asking us to go research every ROM for 2011 and 2012 and rank them in order for the 3d? Sorry brah. You could probably take a good guess by clicking on the development section, and see which ones are constantly posted to (popularity), which translates to downloads.
I'm running mean ROM n boy I love it!!!!! Tried many ROMS out there but none fit me., this one did the job! It's fast! Stable! And good battery life ....sometimes lol

I think everybody is looking for a little wondering different in a ROM, so the answer to your question is 100% subjective.
After I rooted my 3vo, I flashed a new ROM nearly every 1-2 weeks, looking for that "perfect" ROM.
I have found two that I like enough to hold onto:
CleanRom
Viper
Just for the record, there are many ROMs I have not tried, so that's not to say there aren't others just as good.

There isn't a good way to find that answer since every rom is downloaded a insane amount and no one keeps track of downloads.... Devs are too busy whippin new things up
I agree with everyone and no one. MIUI is pretty popular I personally know about 15 people who are running that. Viper is another good one. Until we get something like Google Play for ROM's no one will ever know the answer. I have seen several blogs and what not that are titled something like "MOST POPULAR ROM's" but after reading them it would seem that they are ALL based on opinion and nothing more. I use more broken ROM's then ones where everything works so if there where a pole that met your criteria I wouldn't even be able to vote!
Which that the admins would start tracking the download and views it would make it so much easier to search
Remember when I had my hacked PSP I used to search themes and other stuff and there where all organize by popularity. Download times. Ect

That isn't necessarily possible because ROMs are uploaded to different sites, servers, etc. Some show download counts like dev-host
So, ive made a big switch. I went from a Captivate with 2.3, to my EVO 3D. Im currently running on 2.3.4 and Hboot 1.49.
Im looking to root the dev so i can remove some of the onboard rogers crap. Stuff in the background is running when i don't want it to. And some of the games and junk on here, i just want to get rid of.
Im reading several threads, but none of them are specific enough. Can someone point me to the proper rooting thread for this build? I dont plan on using a ROM, this OS is stable as it is.
As well, can someone recommend me an Antivirus? Ive heard of people starting to use these, maybe someone can suggest me one.

Apparently you haven't read the important threads, otherwise you would have posted this in the right forum :')
Antivirus is overrated AFAIK, it's pretty much only an issue if you plan on installing unknown APKs or using third party app stores. I've been hacked once when I installed an unknown APK on my tablet, which resulted in a password reset of my Google account because my credentials were compromised and some prick attempted to log in to my account from Argentinia
I've looked at the other forum regulations and this was the one that came the closest to the subject. Then again, i also haven't been on the forum for about 6-9 months.
If someone can direct this thread to the proper section that would be greatly appreciated.

this forum is for ROM development. Your thread is about a question you have. That means this thread should go into Q&A (I honestly feel sorry for doing this, the Q&A forum is a very dark place where you can easily lose your mind among the imbeciles)

Depending on your hboot version many subprocesses are related.
My advise is to precisely indentify tour default settings then you will easily find out your happiness to clean what you dont want.
Btw, in dev section there are severals cleaned stock roms.
Depending on what you are looking for and consequences (root needed, s off, ...), make tour choice and enjoy.
Personnaly my favorite for daily usage is the Mwakious 3d one, but official ics update is coming since this morning all around the world (do not know for Roget)
Jump and enjoy this really Nice and Effective toy.

Well, ill take a closer look around and see what may benefit me. As stated before, im on Hboot 1.49. Im used to rooting and customizing my Captivate, not exactly the same as the HTC, thats for sure.

I like the anti-theft features of Lookout, but I prefer the other features (especially with regard to root features) of Avast. Right now though, I'm not running any.

Take it easy? We aren't being harsh. There was no point in posting before you had a link other then try and get attention for yourself. It was pointless and as to saving time he could have typed it up using preview and then saved it on to his computer. We were just pointing out that he didn't need to post it yet, and it doesn't really make sense too. If he had wanted to get feedback and ask for opinions then maybe he should post something in general.

I have already got a link, its just my Dev-Host account got suspended for too much bandwidth usage :/
I am working on getting this resolved via contacting Dev-Host on twitter, they seem to have an IP Block on me for some reason, hopefully will be resolved shortly.
@WadeGeek, this wasn't a silly attempt to get attention, maybe you should get to know what people are like before you start making wild allegations.
To the others i am working to get this resolved and sorry for the delay, i wrote the OP when i was uploading the file last night, however the link failed.
I would upload to another site but DevHost usually works well and allows me to keep track of how many DL's etc.
What has less of a point, setting a place aside for a future link or posting to complain about it?
Either way to argue about it is pointless, it is the op's thread to do as he likes. If people take issue with it take it to the mods. Personally I think it is pretty ****ty that both of his threads have less than friendly post on the first page when all he is trying to do is learn how to develop and share his work

Hey, everyone-- (not 10-posted yet, so I'm not allowed into the big-kid's end of the pool, aka Development)
Has anyone found that the flashable invert-revert for NeoMax ROMs is no longer working?
While I love the other features of the rom, I prefer the readability of the black-text-on-white Gapps... and as of the last couple versions, it doesn't seem to be working anymore.
Can anyone confirm this and/or suggest an alternative approach?

well i just tried flashing them myself and the only thing that changed was the GTalk app... hmmm. i also have the Red Alert theme installed though, do you have any themes installed?
edit: wait, i flashed the wrong file i think... im gonna redo it lol... >.>
edit2: hmm i see... it doesn't do anything for mine but like i said i have the red alert theme going too... i'm about to try it with the standard theme though
Probably cause he moved the apks to a different directory. You could manually do it

Thanks, pr, for checking on that for me. I wasn't able to make it back here to answer your earlier question, but it looks like the fix has already occurred.
Thanks also to localceleb - I figured there was probably a manual way to do it, but didn't quite have the time to research that out on the forum here and do it properly. As a semi-noob, I try to break with the norm and actually read to find the answer first... that takes time!
Plus, I figured if 'Neo was particular enough to put a patch out there, it'd be a good idea to point out that it might need a refresh.

First of all this is not my file, and I could not test it because I don't have the option to download the file. But it looks legit at first sight. So I share this with you guys. If anyone with a paid FileFactory membership would like to test this file I would be very happy.

The RUU is completely uploaded now and I have pulled the rom.zip from the RUU as well.
The rom.zip is indeed encrypted, as has been every Sense4+ JB RUU that I have seen.
I currently have someone I know looking through things to see where the encryption(extra bytes) are and where they are removed or how exactly it's all going down.
I have faith in the fact that I have asked the right person.
Depending on the outcome, will determine what gets posted.
If anyone would like the RUU posted for now, I will be happy to post the link for that.
Can't wait until my DNA arrives....

radios not sure, but based on the build number it is what came on the phone i received.
