i am using adw launcher ex and theme chooser to customize my phones gui.
i have encountered a small problem with icons, i dont want to use the themes icons i want to use the default icons of the phone is this possible i have searched the menu and options but found nothing any ideas ?

Same question here. Is it possible to use default system icons on different themes using adw ex and theme chooser?

Have you tried ADW Settings, Themes Preferences then for Icons check ADW.default theme?

It definitely works when using icons from another adw theme than default. Maybe if you can find an adw theme with default icons, then set your preferred theme in theme chooser and set adw to use icons from the former.
A few extra steps, not sure why it won't just work.

The ADW launcher which comes with CM7 won't do it. You need ADW EX to access changing dockbars.

Hey,
i use ADW Launcher with the Minimalist Theme and i also use the icons from it!
But since some icons in the app drawer are not themed i want to change them manually so that they fit with the others. But i can't find any link for these icons to get them on my PC..
any ideas?

Don't know if you have found your answer or not, but you can extract those icons from the apk (com.david1171.minimalist.apk) on your /sdcard/App_Manager/App_Backups/user_apps
Specifically, I want to get my app icons themed in all apps not just my launcher. MIUI and CM themes do this, however most CM themes only change gapps icons. What about other apps? I'm currently on CM10.1 and am want to do this with the Micons icon pack.

Use launcher to change the icons. You can use an icon theme to change them in the app drawer. Any further mods will need to be done to each and every apk.
Trying to find a theme for nova launcher that has nice drawer icon...(where the apps are) no luck atm,,,

What kind of style do you like for icons? I personally like this theme https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.go.launcherex.theme.kxnt.glasklart, the drawer icons are nice and the overall theme is well done.

I am using Nova Launcher and when I change my theme on my S6 edge, the default icons in Nova Launcher still show the same old TW icons instaed of the theme icons. Is there any way with which I can use the theme icons in Nova Launcher?
