problem installing cmw - Folio 100 General

guys I have a weird problem, I installed honeycomb foliomod then I switched to 1.4 and I lost so I went back to the recovery cmw classic, now when I go to install cmw (cmw compatible for any folio) I get the droid with the signal of danger so I'm obliged to restart the tablet, and now I can not install the recovery, now someone can give me a little hand to understand how do I install cmw?

The fastest way is to install it via fastbooot.

you have a guide to install via fastboot? I honestly do not even know what this is fastboot, excuse my ignorance.

Just find my guide in General and then look into my HC thread for tutorial of using fastboot and then type:
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img reboot
Sent from my IDEOS S7 Slim using XDA App

I have a small problem with the fastboot, I wrote out the cmd <waiting device> for ... I do not understand what's the problem
I noticed that the drivers will not install, you have a method to install drivers Folio 100?

Are you using W7 or Linux?

follow this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1119507
you need @windows every single step. Deinstall the old Drivers
best regards

I have windows 7, any suggestions?
however, I want to thank you for the answers you are giving me.

Follow what realmausi has posted. That will setup the drivers in Win 7 and allow you to communicate with the folio when it's in fastboot mode...

thanks a lot guys, really do not know how to thank you, finally I made it through Davvi not as stupid as I thought it would pass, the problem was in the drivers, thanks again

[Q] HOX+ problems after root/flash...

Hello everyone,
first of all im a total beginner on this field and it's the first time doing this stuff.
since there are no updates further than 4.2 for the beautiful HOX+ i tried to flash the cyanogenmod11 rom on my device. i used hasoons all-in-one toolkit. i followed the guide step by step and got stuck now in a hopefully not that serious problem.
i unlocked bootloader and flashed the cwm international recovery. the recovery was working fine and i did a backup. then i flashed the kernel with the boot.img from the cyanogenmod11.zip and the problems started. when normally booted the phone lights up with the white htc screen and then turns off again after about 3 seconds. i haven't flashed the CM11.zip yet and i guess that was the mistake? i still can acces the recover as well as the bootloader but like already said the phone doesn't start. another problem is that adb doesn't find the device enymore and only prints an empty line when using "adb devices" howevery using "fastboot devices" still gives me the proper result. hasoons toolkit also doesn't recognice the phone anymore.
if anyone could help either getting back to a custom rom or preferably setting up cyanogenmod properly would make me really happy =).
i hope this is the right place for this. i also searched around for hours and hours but can't find anything that helps me.

you normally flash the zip via recovery, do you already have the zip on your phone?
if so, go into recovery and install, find the zip file and install it
if you don't have the zip on your phone then you will need to sideload the zip to your phone, (fancy way of copying the file to your phone) then post 4 tells you how to sideload the rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066390
thanks

the problem with this is that i first don't have the zip on my phone so cant install from the recovery and second that adb doesnt recognize my phone for whatever reasone so i can't sideload the rom. if anyone experienced similar problems (fastboot working, adb not) please let me know how to fix it
Lukas
another thing i just read about is the possibility if one already has installed a running cyanogenmod rom on his device he can extract that as an system.img if i remember right and i could use it on my hox+. just in case anyone knows how to pull that off let me know =)
otherwise still looking for hints how to install rom via fastboot or how to make adb working again

Try flashing the ROM onto the phones storage. Then you can install the ROM. If you cant even charge your phone then you have bigger problems than not having an OS installed.

Install Fastboot Drivers for Windows 10

So I was trying CM12 and it flashed the crappy Cyanogen Recovery over TWRP. I was trying to flash it again through Flashify and other similar apps but it just won't work. I'm now trying to flash TWRP again through Fastboot...but i can't get to install the proper drivers for Windows 10. I tried flashboot drivers and many others I've found online with no success.
How can I get my tablet recognized by Windows 10 ?
Thanks !

I believe you have to disable driver signing in Windows 10.

Not good enough solution.
We want drivers test signed so we can use them without exposing our production machine to a huge security risk.
Therefore, Test sign procedure or alredy signed Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet Family is desirable as a proper solution here.

Ok, good news. There is a easy way to recover from soft bricked Z380C-CX. I had my ZenPad Z380CX, Android 5.0.2, kernel WW rooted and i start playing with it, I managed to soft-brick it after installing wrong kernel, and would get stuck to Logo. I tried the adb cmd option without luck, but here is how i recover it without loosing any app installed, any settings, etc. It's the same like before, i just lost root, but you can re-root after:
You need to download (choose the rom accordingly for your device):
1. Firmware
2. Asus Flash Tool
2. Drivers
-WW_Z_380C_v4.9.8_all_user_P022_fastboot.7z or WW_Z380C-v4.9.8_all_user.raw (i got the .raw file): https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...e-solution-t3165954/post71688236#post71688236
-Download Asus Flash too v1.0.0.34 (the newer one didn't work for me, so i used this): http://www.mediafire.com/file/bf97od5uengfgak/AsusFlashToolInstaller1.0.0.34.msi
-Download ADB and fastboot and install on your pc, (may also need usb, google or intel drivers, if your device isn't recognized by adb cmd!), can find all here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/adb-recognize-asus-zenfone-2-phone-t3151208
Now you have all you need, so check if your device is recognized by adb; Go to C:\ in your computer and look for "adb" folder. If it's not there, you didn't install it. Enter adb and hold "shift" while pressing right mouse, and click on "open command window here". Now you type in the command: adb device and enter, you should get a list with some random info / numbers. If nothing happens, reinstall adb; If you get it work, restart your device and when reboots, hold Volume Up and Power to boot in fastboot. Now, on pc, type the command: fastboot device, and if you get the numbers, your good to continue.
-Open Asus Flash Tool
-Select device from left top drop box menu
-Select "Wipe Data" to NO
-Select the image/zip firmware file from PC download folder, to flash
-Make sure your tablet is in Fastboot mode
-If no device appeared in your Flash Tool, disconnect and reconnect USB cable to PC
-At this point you should get your device number in Flash Tool window, followed by a blue large dot
-Click once on your listed device to highlight
-Press START green button above, to begin flashing.
(You can either get a message: "Failed-Cannot unzip file"- the dot turns Red, or "Unzipping Files"- the dot turns Yellow.) Try to use .7z file instead .raw, or vice versa.
-After flashing, you'll be required to reboot your device, wait and hope
-Now on Flash Tool, the dot is Green and the message: "Flash image successfully xxx-xxxxx"
-You should be have all your apps installed, all settings same, etc. If you had it rooted, now root is gone, and you should re-root.
Hope this will work well for you, as it did for me. Just remember, i am not responsible for anything you choose to do to your device, and i am not gonna take any responsibility if this doesn't work for you.
hey, I just got an Asus p022 tablet. and was looking to root but I can't understand the directions. can I get some help or some noob instructions?

I can no longer boot after flashing the de-rooted original ROM with TWRP

Hello,
A long time ago my brother has done something more stupid – had made root in Sony Xperia Z2 with TWRP, using the latest version of Sirius. As he has bought his new mobile phone, he has given me his old mobile phone, but he was not interested in formatting, de-rooting or fixing the bug of AudioFX, then I decided to work on my own. I made a lot of researches about how to fix the bug of AudioFX, so no luck.
As I wanted to de-root, I had to use my friend and sister's computers with Windows, using Kingo Root, because I am a Linux user, but no luck.
Then I downloaded the original and de-rooted image from TWRP, booted into TWRP mode, and flashed that image into Recovery. After, I could not boot any more. I tried to press power and Volume - and Volume +, but I could not boot either. I plugged the mobile phone into my laptop with Linux, but it was not recognised.
I read the following topics of XDA Developers, trying to train myself, but no luck:
1. Problem with TWRP 3.0.2 and encryption to solve boot loop
2.. [Q] Flashtool tool failed after amss_fsg.sin, can't flash phone
3. Downgrade to KitKat?
4. Unknown firmware, no boot, I can't flash
5. I can not flash!
6. Boot loop after flashing any ROM
7. To flash the recover Rebooting into TWRP recovery ... adb is not recognized

Sounds like you just soft bricked your device. ?
As far as i know it's easily fixable.
I might be able to help you out with few more info. ✌
Was it a 3G one or a LTE one ?
What rom were you on ?
A custom one or stock one ?
And what exactly do you want to achieve ? A stock rom with no root ? ?

An original ROM without root. I know a de-rooted and rooted Android 7 and 8 cause AudioFX bugs.
Can You still boot into twrp ?
If so did you try flashing a stock rom via a zip ?
Or you can use the fastboot but i won't be much of a help unless you have a windows pc ,i'm not familiar with Linux ?

Did you install the fastboot unsigned drivers as + ADB ?
Whole process should be something like this
Disable windows driver signature enforcement.

Restart your pc or laptop.
Install ADB.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0MKgCbUM0itSUhpUklCTFpzWkE&authuser=0
Install flashtool-0.9.18.6 with all the drivers.
(For some reason this is the most compatible one for Xperia Z2)
Then try flash twrp recovery using the flashtool. ✌
