I have xperia neo with blendmiui rom.
When I go into google messenger and want to start a hangout it says: check your hair but the place where it should show my front camera is just completely black.
Front camera works in my camera app.
This maybe from the miui rom... hard to help, sorry.
Does it work for other people running MIUI on xperia neo?
If so, plz tell me what version you're using.

Try vignette for the camera and auto flash, although the flash isn't close to bright enough to work as a proper flash, but at least it auto flashes.
Never messed with videoing apps, so can't really help you there.
Just make sure u get the latest one Vignette 0906, it will fix the isse

Anyone have skype working for the X10's back camera or is there a rom that supports it? Im using DonutHD 2.2.7
skype doesnt depends on the ROM u r using.....
i use skype with the back camera only problem i have to stand in front of the mirror to see whom i am skyping with....
rest works like a charm.....

all x10 roms can use skype experimental video chat if ur firmware is gingerbread or above.
Yeah I have been using Skype on my x10. Mainly for voice conversations. Video conference is not cool with the x10 unfortunately.
Hi, I have installed CM9 on my Xperia Neo and i love it except for one thing, the camera i need the native Xperia Neo camera app.
is there any way i get the native app. I searched all over the internet couldn't find any solutions.

I'm looking for a screen capture app that lets me record my gameplay off my Android. I have tried Screencast PRO , but I don't get no video after I open the game I am trying to record or it lags up bad , audio isn't synced correctly , and pieces of the notification bar are included in the video . I'm using the Droid Razr running on AOKP ICS 4.0.4 Rooted. Can someone lead me in the right direction or help me with me issue . Thank you so much ,

I know there is no continuous autofocus in our Neo L devices! But is it even possible for it! in mornal image mode, because Video mode has it and the hardware maybe capable!

how to make camera in neo l for Focus?
i try to taka a picture of text, but the picture not focus, and i cant read the text.
i change the setting focus camera to Makro, but still not focus
i have the same problem before, when taking a picture i have to move it in order for it to focus, it could be hardware? i have updated to sonys firmware update twice but cameras the same, just last week i flashed my phone to cm7.2-for gamers, and you know what? my cameras focusing in now.. crazy right?
and hey, there's an efective distance in capturing specially close objects, say place a 200-250mm distance between your phone and ur subject, it wont really focus properly if youre too close
Guys in my phone I can easily take snaps of written text... no problem of focus... I hv used all the available roms for neo l. But never faced such problem.

since last some time my neoL phone's rear camera is focusing texts properly. After taking photo i m not able to read write-up.
but some time randomly it works also, i don't know the reason.
other photos & videos are working normal. is it hardware issue or any other please help me.
