the Bravia engine is out for the x8 can som1 plzz port this to our x10 mp ?
Personally , I think that this a nice placebo for a better screen . Even if it actually makes a difference, it's only for stock photo gallery and stock video player. Not sure whether developers want to spent time for a debatable enhancement which is not modular. My biggest argument is the way it's effecting the screen settings (brightness settings dont work after bravia engine installation)

OK what i did for ginger DX is add the following lines to build.prop
Code:
ro.service.swiqi.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi.enable=1
Then i copied the be_photo and the be_movie files from attachment of the original thread by zdzihu, into system/etc
I then gave 755 permissions to build.prop, and the two files... took a pic before and after the process... I didnt find any difference actually!!
Can anyone confirm if it's makin any difference by some pics?? (I will upload the pics i took shortly..)
I noticed no difference or configuration option I get.
I have lost the home screen after the start of SE and do not see the bottom.
I also caused a reboot.
Tested MiniCm7 Pro for V9 version.

Neo has it from stock itself right? Did you try taking a picture of the same item with and without bravia engine?
honestly has no difference... at least from my experience, but flash it just for the hell of it cause you can
Dont think i'll be flashing this, not really much point apart from to confuse people with newer xperia device that know BE is not available on our phones lol would be good if it actually worked though

Its hardware limitation mind you. It won't happen. Even Nokia 808 will have reduced resolution while doing wide screen.

normal neo can do a 6 megapixel wide screen and this can only be achieved bu cropping an 8 megapixel normal screen shot....so yea wide screen means cropping the photo means less pixels 8>6

for me LWW is better..just see the specs of each phone..and a big pro is size..i prefer 3.2 inches..better to work or play..LWW must have better sound..since the names says it all..its WALKMAN version.

hey guys - trying to make some decision here as well - just tested the Live with Walkman - works awesome- everything is awesome - except for camera in low light ?
Is there a fix for that - maybe some custom ram which will enable it to perform better?

It works in low light as it had flash by turning it on can take in low light...i took many pictures in that way...

well flash is good but if the light is low and the object is say - 5-6 meters away the flash will be of no use - I had some photos made today - and the images seemed with little detail and lots of noise on the WT19i ... this is why I asked if it could be fixed with some rom or app ? I am trying to find which is better the WT19i or the Wildfire S.
maybe a software issue :? also they had this yellowish color to them (could be a faulty headset) ?

Yes for my usage..the clarity is better in wt19i...and chipset battery performance every thing is far better good than wildfire S...as i felt while using...my rating will be

I would never buy LWW because of its design; I love Mini's design (Personal Idea). I just didn't spot weight.

I think it has different own systems, Since you can see on here NEO and NEO V has different development section which mean you can not install NEO V ROM on NEO mobile. Also developer who developing ROM they make a path for NEO or NEO V.

Lol don't EVER try that. Neo firmware is ALMOST exactly the same as Neo V. I accidentally flashed the wrong tft once (flashed a Neo firmware on Neo V).
Nothing happened for OMG 2 days until I started the camera, which became both RED and INVERTED. Needless to say, I flashed the right firmware and restored from backup.

this is just modded hwCamera from huawei ,, and huawei camera works on ics without problem so this should work without problems too
