Very cool. Pretty annoying the amount of times it asks for superuser permission though

Really? Here just asked for permissions only the first time as usual... (using superuser v. 3.0.7 and hidebar v.0.12 under oc kernel)

This just plain does not work on my tablet. Installs fine, shows fine, asks for su permission fine, I even get the "hide bar" notification in the bar. Clicking on it does nothing at all however..

Attached XDA apk
I installed the app using the apk from my N1 but it's not saving my login credentials (i.e. I close the app and have to login when I open it again) This behavior is not the same with the app on my N1, help?
I have the same problem too. I need to log in each time I launch XDA app. Oh well, not such a big deal but having the app remember the credentials would be great.

Agreed... this appears to be the only drawback to the XDA app.

Thanks for the apk Ill give it a try
Thanks works great! Just took a little while to load at first.
Tapatalk seems to work fine
I found a couple of other mishaps...
can't post pictures.
Once I log in, I can't use the back button to return to the previous page. Instead it takes me to my launcher screen. If I don't log in I can backclick all I want.
Thanks for the apk. It works well here.

If you log into xda through a browser first and select "remember
Me", the app version seems to work without having to login anymore. Try that.

Tapatalk says it has been disabled in XDA APP. Anyone else getting this when clicking participated tab?

It happens to me once in a while not a biggie. Just close xda app and wait a few minutes and its back up.
I closed xda app and even reboot same ****. Is your participated tab working?
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
No, mine has been giving me that error since last night when hitting the participated tab.

Just so you know the paid tapatalk is doing the same thing so could be xda site causing it.

mine doesn't give the error of the tapatalk, but my other vibrant does.
strange eh?
Mine still works no errors at all now but it had happened before I treated it just like I treat facebook when it says unable to retrieve messages just wait it out
Reinstalled XDA APP still a no go .
After reinstalling I get the same message. After about half an hour I checked again and it worked.

I knew when I blamed it on xda site someone would fix it
Confirmed working here again as well on both phones!
Mine now works

Screenshot app w/ No root

The app is called "Andross" works perfect, No root needed, it's on the Android Market & it's FREE
Just search in the Market.
I stumbled accross this today too. Only works by shaking as we dont have a dedicated cam button which was the only other option. Works okay though.

What does this symbol "+" mean?

Does anybody know what this green plus symbol "+" is in the upper left of the notification bar? When I pull down the bar and click on it, it takes me to a link in the browser. Its not an email. I recently installed Lookout premium on my phone. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. Every time it pops up its a different site. This one says something about Att users. I ran a full check on my phone. No malware or viruses. Help. Ths is the third time it has popped up. Thanks! How do you attach a screen shot to this site?

Sounds like one of your apps gave you airpush. it is spamming ads to your notification bar. here is a thread about it:

Spam in notification bar

Recently I have been getting spam ads in my notification bar I think it was from installing GNES lite but I'm not sure. also an icon appeared on my desktop that was some sort of spam. I'm curious if anyone has any tips how to isolate the source so I can get rid of it.

I would look into the settings of all the apps you've installed around the time you first noticed it. Other than that, it might be a process of elimination. How about checking the play store page for the apps too? I'm sure other ppl will comment on that in the reviews.

Glad you found it already. I thought I'd leave a little tip here in case you didn't know and need it in the future. If you long press on a notification an "App Info" button will come up which will take you directly to the app responsible for the notification. From there you can disable notifications for that app by unchecking the "Show Notifications" box.

Get Mupen64 or N64oid. N64oid isn't in the play store, but you can find it in other places. I personally find N64oid to work better and have some better options.
