[Q] Flexible Keyboard - Sony Tablet S

Will the Menotek Flexible Bluetooth Keyboard work with my Sony S1?
Sorry I don't have a link, I'm new to this forum. I'm thinking about buying one from Amazon

Should do. I bought a cheap 10£ Bluetooth keyboard and works like a charm.

If its a standard Bluetooth keyboard, it will work just fine. If it requires some kind of proprietary receiver, that would be less likely to work, but thats rare nowadays. Even my Bluetooth mouse works without a hitch!

[Q] Keyboard / Mouse

I can verify that the wireless Microsoft Arc keyboard (Model 1392, http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=120) does not work with the Gtab (Vegan 5.1.1) and dock. My cheap, wired HP keyboard (Model 5309U) does work. Some of the media keys at the top work too.
Ideally, I am looking for a wireless keyboard about the size of the MS Arc. Is bluetooth the best route for wireless keyboard and mouse? I don't want to get the case that has the build in keyboard.
Thx!
Keyboard Compatibility
I am looking for the same thing. Do any of the developers/users know which wired and Bluetooth keyboards are compatible with the gtab? Best Buy has limited selection which forces me to shop online. I don't want to purchase online only to find it will not work. Thanks.
I bought a small (really small) USB keyboard at OfficeDepot for 15 bucks. It is less than an inch longer than the gtab. Works like a charm. I liked it so much I bought one for my computer too.

Brand name? Part number, or SKU number?
Got the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard working. Made thread about it.

I read that, but I'm still on the stock ROM, wasn't sure if it would work.
I ordered a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard and generic bluetooth mouse from Amazon. They should be here the middle of next week. I'll report back how they work.
Mini keyboard
I almost bought the one from Office depot. I guess I will go back and snag it
The MS BT 600 or maybe 6000 doesn't work with stock rom. I gave up and just bought the case with keyboard.
edit I really can't remember the model number know that I think about it but it is the small thin one, bought it about three weeks ago from Bestbuy.

RT-MWK01 keyboard

Okay I have a new mini keyboard / trackpad for to use with the G Tab. It seems to go by multiple names on Amazon officially it is Rii Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad (RT-MWK01)
The keyboard is about the size of a cell phone. Has a backlit keyboard, and uses RF instead of bluetooth and includes a laser pointer. The Amazon description says bluetooth and the company makes a bluetooth version but Amazon is mixing thier like products and the reviews.
When I first received the keyboard I was a bit concerned that I had bought a product that would not work for its intended purpose, though they said it works with multiple flavors of UNIX. So while it was charging I tried other hardware with the keyboard to test all the functions and all worked as expected. I was not optimistic about the RF dongle working but a was pleasantly surprised that the dongle was seen and the keyboard worked as it should have. The trackpad is another matter. when I first tried to use it the function was skewed so that up and down was left and right and left and right was up and down. There is a key combo on the tablet which rotates the tablet function. This corrected the pad and gave the correct alignment. Also the laser pointer does work so now I can amuse my cats and try to be productive.
So the down side, the battery is loose in the unit. Which makes me wonder about the longevity of this keyboard. The amazon reviews have some bad reviews based on build quality. The trackpad is not able to scroll across the full screen. It can only scroll the cross hairs about 2/3 of the screen across the width and just stop. I can find no way to modify this behavior. This is the least of my concerns as this is a tablet so I am not sure I need a track pad.
As I have only had this just over a day I will update the review as I get to use the keyboard more.

Got the same keyboard to use with Asus TF101 but it does not seem to use standard Bluetooth protocol... I cant pair it with any BT device. I always have to use the RF dongle in order to work.
did you pair it without the dongle?

Bluetooth KB + trackpad?

Anyone tried and know where to source a bluetooth keyboard with integrated trackpad to be used with the JetStream? Even better if included in a case, but willing to carry separately if it works in the end.
2 years ago I bought a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard with a built-in 2button trackpad combo for about $70 CDN with the exchange.
I originally bought it for my ps3 bit I think I'll be using it more for my new Jetstream I just won thru rogers (boo yah).
I know it works well with HTC products (i use it on my raider all the time) so I can't see it losing any functionality when using it on the tab.
Hope this helps!

Thanks. The Adesso isn't cheap while looking good.
I'm trying to find the Asus keyboard to try it, it looked good as well.
Otherwise, I may elect to just go with a logitec + mini BT mouse, or this Adesso keyboard.
Cheers.
thanks for the information

working : microsoft wedge bluetooth keyboard

just a heads up to say i purchased a microsoft wedge bluetooth keyboard from ebay for only £6.19.
paired immediately and works a treat. even the media pause/play button works when tested on youtube. yet to test on other services. i use it alongside an ms bluetooth mouse i had lying around.
it's a fraction of what these excellent keyboards sell for - slovak/czech layout - which is QWERTY with a few extra characters and perfectly useable for uk english.
a cheap stylish alternative input leaving at least one usb slot free from a dongle.
i'm not the seller - just looking to pass on a bargain if anyone is looking for budget bt keys.
