[Q] Broodcomb XXKI1 V2 update doesn't work

Hi,
I've flashed my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 several times before without problems. Flashing the latest BroodComb XXKI1 V2 firmware, however, doesn't seem to work as expected.
[24.09.2011][ROM][3G][P7500][EUR] BroodComb XXKI1 V2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233328
I've flashed the stock XXKI1 before as well as the CWM Recovery.
Flashing the Broodcomb firmware using CWM finishes successfully but after rebooting the tab I still have the screenshot button and also the UAString option is missing. The theme is the original Samsung one. And shouldn't the kernel version be 2.6.36.4 after the update?
Thanks very much for your help!

prbassplayer,
I apologize but I am newbie in these matters roms. Specifically what you need?
I'ma teacher of Portuguese, not android development. I'd like, but ...
Thank you.
A link to the ROM development thread or website, and what phone are you trying to flash this ROM onto?
Developer rom link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436854
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100;
Version:4.0.3;
Rom: Westcrip´s Ressurection v 8.5 ICS.XXLPB.
[Portugal]
It seems to me that the file is not assumed as a Zip file.
Can it be?
I'm doing the installation with the "Rom Manager - install rom from sdcard".
Thanks.

[Q] CyanFox 2.0.2 from 4.1.2 to 4.4.2

Hi!
I know that this is my second post today in this section, but I'm newbie in flashing on i9100 (my prevorius phone: i9001 and i was having such a fun with customing him ). Can I flash CyanFox 4.4.2 on i9100 if I have stock 4.1.2 with Siyah v6.0 beta 5? Correct me if I'm wrong: after reading main posts in CyanFox 2.0.2 i must flash CyanFox recovery, then flash ROM (with wiping and all this stuff) and then install gapps. I'm asking because in Resurrection Rom (KitKat) I read that i can't flash their rom when I'm using 4.1.2 (only 4.2.2 or higher).
you are partly right . You must flash a custom recovery which is compatible with kitkat roms . follow this -->( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2546597 ) and you can then flash any kitkat based custom rom . All The best and hope i helped you

Installation MIUI on Galaxy S3 with Samsung stock 4.3 rom

Hello gentlemen, I have Galaxy S3 and I have there stock rom from samsung android version 4.3 (specifically i9300XXUGNA8) and I would like to try a MIUI rom. However I find guide only with downgrade on stock rom version I9300XXDLJ4 which is android 4.1.1. But I know that it used old EFS file version 1 and in my rom is EFS v2. So if I downgrade it, the telephone was not work - especially signal from operator. Does anyone have any advice or some guidance on how the stock Samsung rom to MIUI. Thanks for the advice. (and sorry for my english)

I've used the MIUI rom for s3, and trust me, it's really good. The only downside is that you have to downgrade to android version 4.2.2 which is CM based. The latest version is based on 4.2.2, not 4.1.1
You have to do this:
1) Root your s3 following a proper guide. There are plenty on the net. Just google it.
2) Install a custom recovery. I recommend TWRP or Philz Touch recovery.
3) Download the MIUI rom from their official website en.miui.com
4) Flash the rom using the recovery.
Done. Hope this helped
