What exactly is our device? - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

IDK the specifics of our device, like some apps over around the android section have a note that says only ARMv6, ADRENO, PowerVR devices etc.
What is OUR device?
I understand things like Tegra(2) and NVIDIA but i dont understand the rest so what is our device?

Question concerning over-clocking

Does anyone know if it's possible to push the CPU beyond 800mhz (without melting the device that is)?
If so, how?
Thanks =)

You really want to swap android for something Nokia failed to make popular and have now moved to wp7. The only reason to do this I can see is to know if it can be done.

I'm afraid, you're wrong. Ace's higher CPU clock speed doesn't meant it's better. N900 has Cortex-A8 CPU which is ARMv7 based processor (frequency range 600MHz-1GHz); we have ARMv6 based one. Also PowerVR SGX530 in N900 can achieve double framerate of Adreno 200.
btw. Isn't that wrong forum to ask that kind of question?

afaik,mini has fully working gpu,and we don't.
it has fully working driver, and we don't.
it got CM fully working, plus some stable Overclocked kernel, and again,we don't.
that's why even older than Y,it still exist because they could play HD and some high-end games better than Y

Our Galaxy Mini can be overclocked to 806MHz and still stay stable. Our games run especially perfect on CM7.2 with Chainfire 3D. Lagless.

That's normal for the S3, touchwiz uses a lot of ram. Don't worry about it.

You can try removing some Samsung bloat from your rom you'll find it in /system/app
There are lists here on xda.
There is a bloat removal tool in original development sub-forum.
