Would someone please port the awesome ics rom you got on the gsm too ? That would be awesome since it look like they find how to port de cdma roms on the gsm.

gsm is only a different signal type which is used in europe-cdma is USA.
and no, its not faster, and, you can't flash it on your eve 3d coma (sprint)

Lol it is stock from sprint. You use ruu to go back to factory if needed and for devs to make roms when we get root access

I find it relevant because a lot of people (me not being one of them) are trying to choose between two similar-spec'd devices and looking for this very important tie/deal breaker...I've been 3D all the way and this just confirms my decision. Thanks for posting this info :thumup:

any idea where Capychimp got the ruu from? Porting from the dhd to the evo 4g is much harder and getting it to even boot has been a ***** and a half.

Does a sim card carry all data? Being on the CDMA side of things I really have no idea of the answer to this question.
To me, this seems like a wonderful idea. I would definitely buy it. HTC should make a version of the Pad that is compatible with the EVO LTE (not likely but one can dream, right?).
I personally love the idea behind the padfone. Curious to see how it works out In the real world.
