thank you.
btw, sorry for my english

Where are you from, from which country.. That would be helpful in answering your question
You could try Google shopping if it is available in your country..

I would say Gumtree or the AVforums
Problem with Ebay you have to add the 10% charges on top

Who knows this is a developers forum and you even put your first post a question in the wrong forum .
Buy a Nokia .

What if someone recommends you somewhere that doesn't send you a phone after payment, or it doesn't work in your country ??
Pay what it's worth from somewhere you trust... There's not a huge disparity in prices

Uhm... it cost me £400 in UK some 8 months ago (brand new bought from ebay, free casemate barely there silver case included).
I'm sure you can get it quite a bit cheaper than that new now, even in your country. How much cheaper do you think it's going to get?

Ta for teh update but hughes are selling for an inflated price.
When Amazon next get them in stock they will sell for 499 like everybody elase.
I would not pay over the odds myself and would wait for amazon to get stock or go elsewhere like ebuyer, currys etc and I don't think anybody else savvy enough to use this forum would either lol
Yea, I myself won't pay that much more! At the time though, it seemed they were the only people who had stock. I checked reevo just now, and there are a lot more stores that have in stock. I was more interested to see if they worked or not :x
I live in South Africa, and will be purchasing from the UK and would prefer to buy from a shop that I know has sold properly working units.

Help information required regarding online Purchase

hi all,
i want some help from you guys. i am from pakistan and i want to buy samsung galaxy s3 i was wondering on net and thier i found a company named "WiseBuy ltd" here is company information link http://www.cdrex.com/wisebuy-ltd-3815393.html
its says there are registered and not a fraud. and the cost to buy galaxy s3 is about 400$ .which i found 30% cheap from my country. but actualy i am afraid of online fraud and want to know what should i do? how i can trust that company? is there any one from stadfordshire England can confirm this company for me plzz? i shall be very thankfull to you.
ye, even i found one guy called hassan who said he is selling Galaxy S3 for 470$. I asked him for his company's certificates and proofs. he showed me some certificates but i still don't trust such things. On asking one of my blogger friend, he said he has such legit deals on past but he doesn't trust them fully.
I hope that can help. Whatever you do, make sure you don't get scammed. And don't buy it without warranty.
You should ask yourself why someone is selling the most in demand phone for 30% less.
Pretty much all the information you need is on the link you posted. The business is dormant meaning it hasnt been doing much at all for the last financial year either minimum trading or non at all. I wouldn't be giving them my money.
Im guessing they dont actually have their own website either. Ask yourself what sort of company won't even provide their own website in this day and age?
ok fine thank you all. i would not be dealing with him. i m much afraid of scamm but kindly provide me some trusted dealer's link from whom i can purchase galaxy s3 reliably and cheaply!!
Hello
Sadly you will not find this phone cheaply for at least a few weeks.
This is the most in demand phone at the moment, so the retailers will not sell for less then RRP.
Maybe if you wait a few weeks and try again from reputable shops ?
It will be the best way to buy it without the fear of being scammed

[Q] Buying Galaxy S3 from the USA

Hello,
My sister is flying to USA and i asked her to buy my Blue galaxy s3 (die iphone 4, die !! )
Where i live there is no 4g yet (but soon to be) so i asked her for the international I9300 version, i have 3 question
How much should it cost for 16 gig model ? and the 32 gigs?
Is 16 gigs are enough ?? I'm gonna use dropbox and 8gb unclassified sandisc memory card and I'm wondering if 16 gigs are enough for some games not much and some movies,
Last question, is the price is global in us ? cuz i didn't searched where she should buy it , i trusted her to find some big electronic store and they will have it, is this wrong attitude?
which stores she will find for sure? she gonna trip in New york city and in New york the county
Thank you all !

In the US, they don't sell the int'l I9300 model, only the US variants, and the list why you really don't want one of these is looong.
Also, you usually only get them bundled with contract when buying off one of the cell carriers - dunno how the situation is in the US about independant phone shops that can sell what and how they like.
So yah, as the previous poster suggested, take a trip to the internet (amazon, eBay, craigslist or whatever) and order one from there.
It's really only a mouseclick away
Do you want to buy the USA model they sell that in the USA
or the International model .

Buy one from Expansys. Will cost you about $640. 16gb is plenty + sd card and dropbox.

New York probably has some GSM dealers which carry the international version, but I doubt anyone on this forum would know their location.
Due to the a$$ backwards wireless carrier structure in three US, you will only be able to find the US version of the device in a regular retail store like T-Mobile and AT&T wireless. Those will run $549-$649 plus tax (6-10% depending on the state) for the 16GB versIon. Just remember you will still have to SIM unlock th device (through eBay or whatever if you buy the Tmobile or ATT version). Unlock codes are usually around $30. If you decide to get the US version, I would recommend the T-Mobile version since the are still HSDPA focused.
Hope this was somewhat helpful.

I am in NYC. I import and resell cellphones. I have the S3 GT-I9300, both colors, as many as you need. Contact me.

Which seller can I trust?

I'm currently in the US (Orlando, FL) - and I was thinking about buying and S3 since its half the price compared to where I live.
What's bothering me is, I'm searching though Amazon and I found phones like this one - it's advertised as Unlocked but the highest rated comment says
The phone is wonderful, but this is not the right phone they advertise. It is the AT&T US version SGH-I747

Is there any seller on Amazon which you guys know that is guaranteed unlocked and ships fast?
My opinion is not to buy it from Amazon or similar. Best to go into a store or buy it off someone upfront. Its a hassle if something goes wrong with a purchase from the internet.

not true, Amazon's service is amazing
The point to be aware buying a I9300 and residing in the USA is you will not get warranty in the USA . Requirement will be to send it back to the country of origin .See multiple posts from USA users on the subject on XDA .

Ebay is a virtual platform where anyone can offer his goods and other people buy it with virtually no verification.
Amazon on the other hand has huge warehouses, so yeah there is a difference - unless you buy through Marketplace.

buying it in ebay from south korea

Hey all ,
I want to buy this watch and I noticed many sells on eBay from south korea.
watch has a very good price and according to the list it should work fine in my country as far as bands.
also asked the seller if I'll get FOTA updates and he said that yeah.
so my question is , can anyone think on other reasons why I shouldn't buy it from there?
sell for example : http://www.ebay.com/itm/321576361962

On the side of pessimistic, I'm always very careful about ordering anything from overseas. Mainly cuz what if something goes wrong???
Once i ordered a fairly expensive HD IP Cam from Asia, and when it arrived it was clearly a fake. The worse case I know of, is a co-worker that ordered an Galaxy
S5 from Korea at a great price.
After a few weeks, weird things began happening.
By utilizing a few sites that specialize in spotting fakes, he would've never been able to tell that he got taken and bought a cheap clone. And the kicker of this story, the fine print in the con's listing forced ebay to rule in his favor.
So overall, try to order products from US vendors and be sure to read the description in its entirety.
Sorta like the guy that bought a picture of a gold iPhone for big $$$, cuz he didn't read (or maybe doesn't know how).
Good luck!!!

I think that for hige-end devices such as this it would be very easy to spot a fake product , for example , curved screen is not something that every manufacturer can make.
and as you said , ebay buyer protection plan can always save you.
in addition there's the whole feedback system that if you know how to work with you can figure within 2-5 minutes of investigation if the seller is reliable or not.
my main concerns are about the version of the watch , will all apps work on it etc.

Don't be so sure on the looks alone. Take a look at this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s/general/gear-s-150-t3001480
First off. This model won't work in the US.
There are a lot of different versions of the GS... Each for a different segment of the world. I would do some 2G/3G/4G frequency research on the model you're buying and the provider you'll be using it with. Also, make sure it's factory unlocked... Trying to get it unlocked from another country would near impossible.

it is the original samsung gear s with sim/wifi. the other problem is because its from Korea the navigation is not there on the watch all thou i updated it through samsung kies3 app.

Buy it if you don't mind the trouble and long delivery time.
