I am sure I will be turning to you all at some point for what do do with the second system and how best to customize it. I hope that at some point ICS will be available too through customization.

Bought the second View yesterday - this time for myself
I just bought a Kindle Fire and put CM7 on it. So far I love it but this deal has me seriously considering selling the KF and picking up the Evo View.
What kind of differences will I notice in processing power, if any?

I am running CM7 on the Kindle Fire as well. I don't think it is that snappy at all. I am actually thinking the single core 1.5ghz processor will seem faster plus the 1gig of ram should help as well.
This device offers so much more then the KF at this price it cannot be passed up. With the addition of a front and back camera, bluetooth, 32 gigs of memory, official honeycomb update, that is enought to satisfy me. Plus nothing will seem as snappy as my Epic 4G touch anyway, even the KF with it's dual core isn't even in the same league as E4GT.

Really considering this deal. I have a Nook Tablet and I really wish it had a front camera, working bluetooth, and to some extent, GPS. I do however really like the screen on the NT. How's the screen on the View? Can you move off center in all directions and it still looks great? Poor performance in the screen is the kind of fundamental niggle I just can't live with. How about responsiveness? Is the GUI relatively fluid?
wow I was wondering if that deal would ever come again. great tablet. I had a nook tablet before the view, but I just couldn't stand not having the real android market and I envied the stylus input. I'd say the screen is exceptionally responsive and fluid when compared to the nt. It really feels like a $500-$700 tablet slashed down to $230. its a steal. I almost want to buy a backup tablet in case anything happens to this one.

If it does everything I need, I will go with the View. How thick/heavy is it compared to Fire? I wasn't impressed with how heavy the Fire was.

I had the NT, even rooted it with your MAC script. I liked it a lot but could not live with the fussing around regarding the OTA update. B&N's stance on hacking their device has really soured my taste toward them so I returned it. I picked up a WiFi Flyer and haven't looked back. The screen is basically the same as the NT, just as good, if not better viewing angles. However, the NT has slightly less glare. The responsiveness is at least as good as the NT if not better. I even like the overall feel of the Flyer over the NT. It isn't as thin, but it feels stronger and better made. Anyways, I can pretty much guarantee you won't miss the NT at all.
What are the chances this thing will get ICS? Rather official, or CM9 support?
The price for this tablet is great, but if this tablet won't have ICS I'm going to wait awhile for the new tablets to come out.
View eats all other 7-8" tablets for breakfast.

I concur. I have Both the KF & HTC EVO View 4g and the View is Much, Much faster and snappier than the KF. I LOVE it since HC was put on and the Stylus works soooooo much better since HC. I use the View all the time AND I have a Xoom WiFi WITH ICS and still use the View more because I can Write to the SD Card whenever I want. Whereas my Xoom is a GED Device and even thou it has ICS there still is NO Write ability to the SD Card Internally, which to me gimps the device. I put a PNY 32GB Class 10 in my View for Extra Storage and have a Otterbox Defender on it. Awesome Device.
DON'T get caught up in the Dual Core vs Single Core issue with this device. HTC Optimized the View Magnificently with Sense and HC that it's really FAST and Buttery Smooth.
I just ordered mine. I was sorta reluctant, because I am not a fan of Sense. I currently have an Acer Iconia A100 that I got from Best Buy for $180. I will give the View 4G a shot (fingers crossed that CM will hit this thing). I just know that one tablet will be on the Craigslist soon. Also, I read this review after making the purchase:

Good day all. I'm a Best Buy Silver member and have 45 day returns on merchandise. Anyways I picked up the Flyer a week ago and compared to the other tabs I have owned or own (Asus, Acer A500 and A100, HP Touchpad) this is the best in terms of overall functions. Another reason why I say that is because 10 inch tabs are over-the-top; especially if they don't have any ports (that's why I kept the Acer A500). I find 7-9 inchers are more usable. This Flyer is smooth and functions properly unlike most of the Honeycomb tabs. My only concern is will HTC update this beautiful beast? So I'm posing the question to the community of whether to ditch the Flyer or wait it out. Also any input or thoughts about the Samsung 7.0 Plus and if its worth the extra $100 are appreciated
I wish HTC would say something offical and it will make my decision clear.

The Sammy 7plus will have a TFT LCD screen (like Acer A100) not the Super AMOLED or IPS. That should give a pretty poor viewing angle, not up to Sams usual standards and thus much cheaper to build. On the other hand, Sammy has been promising lots of software updates lately.

Yea this tablet game is crazy. Sometimes I wish I would have been simple and gotten an iPad. Android is getting ridiculous. Anyways the inferred remote, updates, and Samsung usually has a decent amount of accessories is what's keeping me interested. I just have a bad feeling that the flyer is dead.

its maddening. HTC built an almost perfect tablet in the FLyer and then overpriced it at introduction and has failed to support it properly now. Makes me wonder if they are exiting the tablet market.
I too am starting to think HTC is calling it quits. Xoom 2 8.2inch where art thou. I would skip the samsung and wait for that. Much like the original xoom it will be nexus like and will get the most recent updates straight from Google. I miss my original xoom but it was just too darn large.

I think the Xoom 2 is a 8.2. I perfer the 7 inch, because I played with the Samsung 8 inch but it is tad big. I'm looking for something I can whip out in public and not look ridiculous. I think the Xoom will cost $545 though, didn't they learn anything?

Ack, I'm conflicted on where to jump into the tablet market. Granted an IPad would play VERY nicely w/my work MacBook & make life a bit easier, HOWEVER, it's large ~sigh~
Looked at the Xoom the other day and, yeah, too big to tote around comfortably so I started leaning toward the Flyer (I'm a huge HTC fan, love rooting my TBolt & Eris prior to that) but it seems like a lot of owners feel disappointed in HTC's (lack of) support for the device.
Maybe they'll go on a sub $200 fire sale if they announce 'no more'
I'm not sure what to get - but I do know that I want the ability to add storage, ie SD, etc., probably want a 7-8" screen with 9-10" being too large and I'd like it to have a good developer base behind it so I can root away and stay the flash addict that I am. Oh and I'd like the screen to be kind on the eyes for book reading & readable outdoors (so that means I need the AMOLED screen I believe?). I also like the $300 price point of this.
What else are you guys using besides the Flyer?

Acer A500 and Nexus S. I do agree the 10 inch ones are to large for daily use especially in public. At they are cool bit I need something portable.

Thank you, but the Nexus S is a phone, isn't it? And, yeah the 10" tab is going to be too large.
I'll have to get to Best Buy and see if they at least have an HTC Flyer on display that I can fiddle with.
I'm trying to make pretty much the same decision. I would rather not be left without an update to ICS. Other than that, the Flyer is looking pretty good. I like the design of it over the Galaxy Tab (though its design isn't horrible either), and it certainly felt snappy enough during my brief use of it in the store. The Tab is $100 more, and I doubt it will drop in the near future (i.e. before the end of the year), since it's a brand new product and Samsung would have a bunch of pissed off early-adopters on their hands. The Flyer, on the other hand, stands to drop in price again, since it's relatively old.
I was also considering the original Galaxy Tab because of the GSM capabilities (would be nice to throw in a pre-paid SIM card just in case), but Samsung failed to include it in the list of devices they're going to upgrade to ICS, and it felt just a tiny bit slow in the store, at least compared to the Flyer.
I am waiting for the day that Asus releases a 7 inch tablet. If they ever do, I will buy it and never look back. They release products that have top notch hardware and the best software and update support in my opinion. If only the transformer or transformer prime were a bit smaller, then they would be perfect for what I want.

They are ok. I have owned 2 Transformers and the build quality was not there. From the hollow back, light bleed, and cracking speakers. That's how I ended up with the Acer is was just solid.

TBH... The Flyer is slow compared to the new Dual Core tablets. however... for 300$ + the added pen functionality it's worth it.
My screen also has a yellow tint... Is that the same as every1 Else's?

The screen should not be yellow.
Actually at 1.5ghz the flyer is faster in most cases than any tablet out there. Dual core doesn't get you more usable speed in almost every case because few if any apps are designed in a way that can make use of the dual cores and Android only lets one app be foreground at a time. So most of the time a dual core is only using one and its slower than the Flyer.

Black Friday will probably yield some good deals, so I'm at least hanging tight for that pricing to come out before jumping on anything - and I think I'm going to sell my Ipod Touch, latest gen, NEVER use it.

I have the flyer and I love it! It's built super solid, its very fast, and I love how it scales apps in contrast to how to Galaxy tab did. On a 7" device I would end up using more phone apps then tablet apps anyway, so I don't care about honeycomb. I love my Flyer! The only thing that may replace it is the Galaxy Note...but then again I may still keep it since its really not worth it to only get $200 used for it. Hell, I'd keep it for that just to lend out or use it as a dedicated clock!
I used to be a active user here on XDA when Wondows mobile was the "cool" Mobile OS. Then I bought a iPod Touch when my father bought into the iPhone 3G. I got sucked into Apple with the 3GS, then the 4. I bought a 64gb 3g iPad when it came out, as well...but then I bought a ATT 3g Galaxy Tab refurbished just to try out android....and fell in love.(it made me feel like I used to with windows mobile...the customization) I kept the TAB for a few months then decided to sell both my iPad and my Tab and buy a iPad wifi for cheap, and a Flyer. I canceled my contract and used my unlimited ipad SIM in my Jailbroken iPhone 4....Loving life($30 a month is my only phone bill!)! That iPhone may be downgraded to a mp3 player though....since I am eye balling the Galaxy Note now.

The WiFi version is $300 on Amazon. But yes, the GSM one that I want is still pretty pricey. If I got the original Tab, though, I'd just pick it up from eBay or the forums or something. Or, maybe it will be on sale during Black Friday, since any retailers that still have them need to clear their inventory to make room for the Plus.
This is a hard decision, to be honest. After doing some more research on the Flyer, it seems that the easiest one to acquire in the States (the WiFi one from Best Buy), is also the one that throws up hurdles for modders, such as the inability to go back to stock from a custom ROM.
Now I'm kind of back at square one, debating between the original Tab, the Tab Plus, the Flyer, the IdeaPad A1, and pending more details and reviews, the Huawei MediaPad.
Ok so I recently broke my Archos 10 and I'm looking for a new tablet for school. I have the choice between an HP touchpad or a Nook Color I know development is stronger on the Nook but I like the larger screen since I'm coming from a 10 inch screen. Basically a asking in those two forums would be pointless since they own that device so Evo 3D/ other device holders which one should i get?
Please note the SCHOOL part... I'm a broke student and don't have 400-600 to drop on a new tablet

The prime is actually 499 for the 32 GB version. Not too bad.
What do you need it for in school? If it's for taking notes you night really want to consider a cheap netbook.
I just got a Nook Tablet(the new one not the color), development isn't really rolling yet, we do have root and google market. But it does have a great screen and killer battery life(like 10 hours of continuous life). I've found that the 7 inch size is a lot more portable than I thought, Most cargo pants can fit my nook in there and it turns out most of my jackets have at least one pocket that can fit too. It's $250 so its pretty cheap. If your really on a budget there's the kindle fire($200) too.
I picked up a WiFi HTC flyer NIB over thanksgiving for $200 and its a great tablet. It's in the process of updating to honeycomb and it sure is pretty fast. I also own a touchpad but I use the flyer for all school notes because of seamless integration with evernote.

This man is right. The price to performance ratio of both the nook tablet and kindle fire really can't be beat. They can pretty much do everything that the $500 tablets can with only half the price.

I will try to answer your actual question and feel that I am pretty qualified to do so as I own both of the products of which you speak. Between the two, if you want to get work done, I would go with the HP Touchpad. I am running the CM7 Alpha 3 XRONified (custom rom based off of CM7 a3) and it is pretty darn stable. I had been using google docs through webOS to take notes and such, but now that Gingerbread is pretty much stable, I am using Quickoffice Pro (thanks amazon free app of the day). I did purchase the BT keyboard when I got this so this really helps. The NC absolutely has had some amazing developer interest and I have been extremely happy with what I have been able to get out of it, but some are really beginning to move on. In fact, Dalingrin who is one of the better known NC devs is now a TP dev and has mentioned that he believes that ICS will run a lot better on TP than NC (duh!). However he said part of the reason is waning dev interest.
I guess if you want a "proof is in the pudding" statement. When I just had my NC, I carried both my 17 in laptop and my NC with me to school and the only school related thing I did with my NC was to display speaker notes when I was giving a presentation. Now I only bring my TP and BT keyboard with me. My laptop stays at home for heaving lifting (though I have a new smaller and lighter laptop) and my NC has been relegated to being an ereader.
I had more I wanted to write but lost track, but please let me know if you have any more direct questions that I can help you with.

This would have been my advice since I also saw the $249 black friday price. However, who knows if it will be that price again anytime soon. Plus he is looking at about $100 for a dock. So now, assuming an absolutely best case scenario, he would be spending 150 more than he was looking to spend. This is why still went with the TP.
Also, the TP doesn't have a problem balancing with the HP case (or any trifold case for that matter).
Agreed transformer 1 is the way to go and as was said you should have no prob finding one for 250 - 300.
I have an acer iconia 500 and for the price you cant beat it. Quite a bit of dev action and its a solid hc tab.

But it does have a great screen and killer battery life(like 10 hours of continuous life). I've found that the 7 inch size is a lot more portable than I thought, Most cargo pants can fit my nook in there and it turns out most of my jackets have at least one pocket that can fit too. It's $250 so its pretty cheap. If your really on a budget there's the kindle fire($200) too.

I do like the size but battery isn't much of a factor since I have 6 hour classes and being an EMT would make this great in terms of size and portability

When I just had my NC, I carried both my 17 in laptop and my NC with me to school and the only school related thing I did with my NC was to display speaker notes when I was giving a presentation. Now I only bring my TP and BT keyboard with me. My laptop stays at home for heaving lifting (though I have a new smaller and lighter laptop) and my NC has been relegated to being an ereader.

Wow! This actually made my decision easier the only thing I was unsure of was the use of Bluetooth keyboards and compatibility which would make notes and portability much easier compared to a netbook/notebook
I would go for a newer tablet like most of you are mentioning but since my biggest factor is price a $150 32GB HPTP is my best bet since its for notes and books and its not too expensive

No problem. Also, the HP case is great, but you can get unofficial ones that will work for only a few bucks off of ebay. The main advantage that the HP case has is that the bezel is exposed which is important for the gestures available for WebOS. If you are just going to use it for android, though, this becomes a lot less important. I have the HP BT keyboard and it works great, but I am sure that you can use any BT keyboard. Also, if you can find a touchstone for cheap it is not necessary, but nice but you can wait on that since you are trying to save money.
I would be careful in getting your hopes up though, I don't think that you will find a HPTP for only 150 anymore. I looked at ebay and it looks like it will cost closer to $200

I personally have the touchpad. With the update HP pushed out a few weeks ago and some of the pre ware available, webos really isn't that bad to use and the browser is, I personally think, the beat browser out on any tablet.
Then, when I'm not in school or on weekends, I boot into android for the apps and the fun.

I think I would go with a Flyer for $299. With the stylus you could take notes, it's a nice 7" form factor, etc. I wouldn't bother with a Fire or Nook (either) if you are planning to take notes with it.
On the flip side, the iPad 3 and more quad-core Androids will be coming out very soon, which will either provide a better option or it will drive the price of these older ones down.

Hey guys I just ordered the HTC view on impulse and now I'm having second thoughts. I was all ready to buy the Nook tablet and I got an email saying I could get the View for 259.99 usd free shipping no tax. So I just jumped on it with even thinking about now I'm a little worried because the Nook on paper with it dual core processor seems a little more up to date. Should I be worried or does the View perform better than it sounds? I plan on rooting whichever one I end up, by the way. Any comments would be appreciated, thank you

I have a Nook Color with a custom GB rom, and picked up a View about a month ago. So far, I really like the view.
As for tablets, I own or have owned and iPad, Galaxy Tab, HP Touchpad, Nook Color and now the View. I would buy a 7-8"iPad in a heartbeat, but am really enjoying the form factor of the View.
In 6 months, something better WILL come along, but I'm ok with solid tech, and not on the bleeding edge...
i personally think the View is one of the better tablets out there. I have a Kindle Fire and an Archos 80 which have things about them I like better than the View, but overall the View is the tablet I use most. Despite it being a single core processor it seems snappier than the other two. I like the pen integration and the fact that it has GPS, bluetooth and dual cameras. The Archos is my second favorite, primarily becuase of the screen size, USB host and built in codec support, but I think the fact that it has less RAM causes it to be less stable.

I had a Dell streak before my view. I like this one better. It is just as snappy as the dual core stresk, but has a much better build quality and battery life.

Dont even think twice, you won when you purchased the View. I had a nook tablet but was so dissapointed that I couldn't access the real Android market out of the box, or Skype, or sketch, or snap some photos. I think the reason u win is because its a $700 device marked down to Nook price. Trying to keep up with the latest tech gadget you're either going to pay $700 for all the bells and whistles flat out or you're going to be locked in a 2yr contract. The "firesale" View lets u skip both of these pitfalls and escape with your wallet intact and a tablet even Apple should be envious of.
I had a Nook Tablet for 2 weeks and decided it was too much trouble to fight B&N for the life of the tablet on being able to root it. I too was a bit concerned that the Flyer/View would be underpowered and not as nice as the NT. This is completely false. I love my Flyer much more than the NT and I have 0 regrets in the trade.

I have a CM7 Nook Color that I was using before the View. I bought the View specifically for the pen function. Being a Sprint employee, it really helps me on the floor to manage notes and also to show it off.
People get all excited about the dual core business. But you do realize that a 1.5 ghz single will.be faster than a 1.2 ghz dual core right? The dual core helps with multitasking and benchmarks but real world not a big difference.

I'm still loving mine. I put my Nook Color with CM7 on Ebay immediately after getting the View in the last firesale. Its so much quicker and smoother. Plus it has several perks that the Nook will never have, GPS, camera, Bluetooth (out of the box, not thru the CM7 hack). Its a legit tablet.
Only gripe is not having all Honeycomb apps fully functional, but I think that is due to the app developers not supporting our unusual resolution.

As long as the hardware is about the average level, the difference of user experience is not that depended on the CPU / Ram. Indeed if you have dual / quad core it may run some software better, but for the majority of software most tablet can handle it without a problem.
What really changes the user experience the most is the number and quality of sensors it packs. I used one Nook Color, had the gripe not on the speed, but on it's lack of sensor.
No GPS, microphone, cameras, bluetooth sucks. That means no navigation, no skype or voip, no bar code scanning, no reliable way to use keyboard / bt gps .. the list goes on and on...
View has it all, plus a pen input. You can make use of almost all the functions in all the software out there. (I only wish someone can add bt headset back in.. oh. maybe a better set of cameras too.) You have the luxury of flexibility. Sometimes it does not matter if a tablet runs fast or slow, it matters if the tablet can run that app at all or not.
That is the reason why I sold my Nook Color, even if it is fun to hack. I would also recommend against Nook tablet or Kindle fire, as all of them are more reader less tablet. You can do internet on it, and that's about it.
After the tablet has an average speed, the key of tablet is really at the sensors it has. In this aspect, View actually trumps pretty much every tablet, including ipad. ( maybe the only exceptions are those with NFC.. Is there any tablet comes with NFC yet? )
Just talking about dual core vs. single core, I returned the Kindle Fire for the View. You cannot tell the difference between the two as far as what performs better. I actually think the View feels a little snappier.

yep.. couldnt refuse at that price point.. they got rid of the coupon.. so just $199 outright.. so saves on taxes if your state requires collecting it.. debated.. but i just cant say no to a deal like that.. loved the original NC.. was a solid piece of kit.. so i know i'll love the tablet..

B&N had to cut prices, Asus memo will be out very soon. And at $250 for a quad-core, with camera, GPS, and BlueTooth, it will eclipse the Nook Tablet and all bargain tablets.
Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't call this a "bargain". NT cannot recognize more than 2 points on the screen at any time, the wifi is buggy at best, the internal memory is almost not accessible. All in all, it's a good ereader. And that's it. The Kindle Fire is a far superior device. My only grip with the KF is that its memory is limited to 8 gigs and no microSD extension possible.

Well I for one am still very happy with mine. The wifi bug isn't that bad, and I have confidence the devs will get it under control. I have no problem accessing ask the space I need, and the battery life is incredible.
Having great dev support is not something to take lightly. The guys working on the NT are doing a great job. My Samsung Fascinate didn't have a usable CM7 until it had been out for almost a year. I wouldn't put it past them to get better multi-touch support for this device as well.
All in all, it's a great device, and the great dev support makes it even better.

Oh, come on. There's always something "new" in the horizon - better, faster and cheaper (ie, the Quad Core Asus). And if you wait long enough for the Asus, something *even* better will be "just around the corner".
The B&N is, for me, an*incredible* deal. I own a Galaxy SII, a Motorola Atrix (heavily modded) and I got an iPad 2 at the office. I can't believe how much I got when I bought my Nook for $250. I'd definitely do it again. It's *not* only a good eReader - it's a tremendous game machine (I haven't yet found a single game with any sort of lag), a great browser, a perfect multimedia device... the list goes on and on. IMHO, I'd rather have the Nook than my iPad, it's far, far more useful right now (rooted, with GoLaunch EX and minor tweaks). CM7 will only make things better.
Its problems are trivial. No true multitouch? Why would it be a dealbreaker? Wi-Fi bug? I've seen it every once in a while - my HP laptop is far, far worse. What else is there? Nothing. Again, to me, it delivers far more than I ever expected out of it.

Well said i think exactly as you do and not because the a new tablet with more specifications with same or better price is round the corner means the quality will be good and the development for it will be fast, so far with the nook tablet devs have done an amazing job far before than what i ever expected. There is always people that do not appreciate the work that is being done and on top of that they ask for more, unfortunately XDA has got many of those, its a shame.
I think the nook tablet is an investment and i feel very happy with it, i will for sure enjoy it for a while and once another good deal like the NT comes out with decent hardware (not Chinese junk as @fjhuerta say) and green lights for development maybe then i would think in upgrade.

1) yes
2) very easy...check put the development forum and you'll see the one click root. In a few days CM7 will be released in greater fashion than previously. In a month or so the nook tablet and its downfalls will be completely absent. The devs have been incredible with this device and it's only getting better and better. I purchased mine on release day and my love for it grows by the day. I've owned the kindle fire as well...but I did return it because it lacked the ram power of the nook tablet, and I could certainly tell(yes I was rooted on it as well).
Trust your gut. In the long run, I think if you choose the nook tablet, you'll be extremely happy.

I have a Flyer, which I bought (as many people did) around Christmas-time for $200. I use it quite often, to read pdfs, play games, bring with me to use wireless (I don't have a phone). I like it for what it is.
However, that said, I would not recommend dropping $200 for one right now. Maybe if you can grab one for $150 (there was mention of a deal like that in the general forum). Development by HTC on the Flyer has pretty much stopped, with no plans to go forward. There is some nice development going on by XDA members (like Lee's LeeDroid), but beyond that, not much more.
In my opinion, the biggest sign of the problem is with the well-known GPS problem on Honeycomb, which does not allow the device to maintain a lock. HTC is aware of the problem, but there is no fix (nevermind a statement that a fix is in progress). That's a statement of the official development going on. Other problems for me is the hurried HTC Scribe pen integration; some XDA members have created better programs (Quill and Papyrus, for instance), but again, the lack of care by HTC is apparent. The pen feature was rushed, and it shows. XDA members and development are keeping this device afloat, but that's the only reason.
It's a competitive market right now in the tablet market, and unless you have a real winner, then products will be quickly phased in and out. The HTC, as much as I hate to admit it, because as I said, I do make use of mine quite a bit...has been on its way out ever since December 2011 when the prices got slashed.
This is a hard choice for me. I like being able to hack up things, and test out roms. I was told to get this, but I will be getting a new Job soon. Paying much better, and that ASUS Prime is calling me. I just want a tablet for now, and the Kindle Fire seems the best choice. I can complile ICS, and use a 3.0 Linux kernel. :T Why's it so hard to do this. Being a ROM junkie sucks.

+1 to that. I bought the Flyer a few weeks after its release for $599 and don't regret a single penny spent. In the Flyer, you are paying $200 for a $599 high quality tablet. That's a bargain, no matter how you look at it. Buying a Fire, you are just getting a crappy cheapo $200 tablet for $200. The Fire has so many features missing, its not even funny (cameras, SD slot, GPS, microphone, Bluetooth, compass, gyro).
I'm trying to sell mine via Swappa for $230.

I will end up putting the photoshop touch app on it, not the free express one.
the 7 in form factor is perfect for me. I had a xoom and liked it for a while but it gets really heavy and hard to hold in one hand.
so the flyer feels much better in one hand, assuming you dont have toddler hands.
the CPU is adequate for anything i could throw at it, and can OC as well.
gpu is pretty good so games wont be a problem. as for n64oid, It would all depend on the game that youre emulating. most devices can handle mario64 and zelda and mariocart. hit or miss really. but its been a while since ive used n64oid (since i picked up a used n64 from my local game store
camera is mediocre. My SGS2 has a better one so i wont use it to take pics or videos but will use the front one for video chat.
im not concerned about GPS issues either, my phone does it.
all in all, I want something that i can use easily when my phones dying and needs to charge, or dont feel like looking at my phones small screen anymore for long web browsing sessions and the 7in form factor and the scribe is def a deal breaker.
