Internet sharing is not on this one? Doesn't seem to be.
Thank you Ansar for this great job. There are some problems with the ROM, here are what I found no internet sharing, Touchxperience does not work, no registry editor in settings, and no 3G connection, the good thing (or bad) is I have a static MAC address now.
And also when I wanted to update through ZUne after installing U2M8107 zune says your phone is up to date (7.1 7720)

For unlocking you should follow these steps
- run U2M8107
- tap on ansar Unlock
- follow the provisioning steps
- tap on dev unlock / eXit
- power off and power on the device

Ansar it is unlocked there is not a problem for unlocking but for updating it does not update through zune. When I try to update it says your phone is update (version 7.1 7720). Any advice what to do

After trying out a lot of custom ROMs, i have finally decided to go with this one because it is updatable through OEM cabs. I have updated to 8107, my Surround phone has the following specs -
OS Version 7.10.8107.79
Firmware V 2250.21.40300.502
Hardware V 0003
Radio Software V 5.69.09.05a_22.50.50.21H
Radio Hardware V A.26.0.D4
Bootloader V 1.52.2250.4 (120323)
Chip SOC V 2.2.5.0
Is there any update available beyond this? There are no updates beyond 7720 available through Zune for the Surround.

Thanks a lot, ansar. Finally I decided to dropp my old, old HTC Magic and started to use HTC Surround, which was also out of time, just to experience windows phone.
Is there anyway to let a windows phone (or maybe you can say a mango rom) support the ad-hoc hotspot of windows 7? like android roms with patches and ios. Thanks.

I'm having issues with the BT as well. Sometimes I have to restart to connect, even after I turn the BT functionality back on in the settings. Sometimes it slides to the on position but then slides straight back to off, sometimes I can see my car pop up on the list and try to connect, but unsuccessfully. It definitely doesn't work more than it works, that's for sure. I'm just going back to an older ROM, probably 7720 or something.
Is WiFi supposed to d/c every time the phone goes to sleep? Forgive me if that's a stupid question.

This is a "new" issue with rapidshare.
It is announced the download limit speed for free users at 30Kb/sec.
"Rapidshare disabled the ability to resume downloads that were stopped for free users and also limited the average download speed to 30 kb/s.
Because of the way they are doing this, it may look like the download is frozen.
Don’t worry – it’s not. It’s just waiting for the next piece of the file to be transferred.
The pauses in between are added by Rapidshare in order to make the overall average speed slower for free-users."

Is multitouch driver fix included ? which one ?
Is camera trick for battery required or the Rom has acceptable battery drain even after reboots?
Does this encrypt sd card or dll from cotulla was used which prevents that?
Hard key backlight fixed ?
Did u include new camera driver as in Ultrafruit ROM ?
Is volume fixed?
Is MAC address Issue after reboot resolved ?
CAB update possible ? If yes which certificates are included?
Zune updatable ? (sorry if u had mentioned and i missed it )
ANYthing else i missed you want to tell....

Will be just activated!!
That's what also did and updated all hTC apps etc
After entering AC will instantly return to enter e-mail and pw again
Just re enter the pw and will be activated

You can see post #1 1st few lines of main characteristcs what of cotulla/dft is included
It is well structured and of very good performance

I am sure it will be good but my questions regarding cab sending, sd card encryption, Mac address etc are not answered anyhow .. I am at school now will flash and report when I reach home that will be approximately 4 hours 30 minutes from now .. Will post my first impressions and then edit the post as required ..

Hi Ansar, great work.
Can you include the touchdriver dlls in the xap, because today i wanted to change the touchdriver from option 2 to 1 and 1 was "empty". After softreset touch didnt work anymore.

You never had any bug?
I tested it on Pdaimatejam v7.5 and I though my poor rom was dead ^^
In particular, I tested to switch the device name to see other market place and when I changed, the device rebooted twice, and the third time, boot normaly. But data connection was broken (had to do again connection setup).
I tried to install sound enhancer and it doesn't work too (no error message in the app but the app does not appear in app list).

sound enhancer is like 2 years old...it may not work in mango do to new drivers in mango.

Yeah! it is working great! the marketplace icon - the bag doesnt have any logo. dont you think that the icons (xbox logo, the phone) are smaller? anything seems to work just fine!

Games hub is normal,
The marketplace is an bug:
sometimes logo does show up

Sure it is, after flashing go to wp-bazaar.com and download bazaar, then search for smsbackup
PS go into root maneger to trust bazaar (or all apps (root tools for example))

you can download cabs, plus cab sender. then you run it (admin) and you need to change a little value
the bold one to the location, then run, and press S

You have to download all the cabs, place them in an folder, read the last post on the first page, run cab sender, and then you have your language, without any bugs, as far as I can tell

ok i installed the other rom to play, will look at yours when its out. can you remove language files other than english? this saves about 200mb of storage. i did this on the rom i uploaded here.
