I have full intentions to share. Unfortunately, AOKP is not my baby. AOKP is @romanbb's project. I've discussed a release with him and he has told me not to as of yet and I understand why. The source is there, feel free to get it and compile it.

I have absolutely no idea what aokp is, but it's nice that you guys actually provided us with source so that we can do it ourselves if we want to. God willing I don't ever want to boot in to a Linux system so I might have a look around for a windows way of doing it.

Do you know where the source is located? I checked TeamKang's github, but it hasn't been updated in a day and seems to lack a tenderloin package. I'd love to have a look at what you guys have done, but my quick 5 minute search led me to your twitter (I vote yes on nightlies, btw) and TeamKang. Thanks for everything, man!

I for one am glad to see that progress is being made. If it take's the Devs time to co-ordinate a release, that's all good. Consider that the TouchPad has ICS, and in a state that is serviceable for many apps. When the HW accel is available, it will just make it sweeter.
Not bad for a $149/$99 tablet, IMHO.

As current roms stand there are no AOSP roms out at the moment . But also bare in mind root status is still very new , if anything still in its infancy . Give it time and before you know it AOSP will be ready for flashing . I know cyanogenmod was ported to the Sensation already , so I dont think EVO3D will be to far off from that . Some Devs have had roms on standby waiting for root to hit but never had a device to test stability on (even though there were s-off devices running around in the wild) . Like I said give it more time , heck the development thread has already started up with kernal threads and rom threads . The fun is just now begining so kick back and enjoy the ride
I'm not trying to be rude but there's a fee threads on this already.
But yeah first I heard it would be ported and cyanogen wouldn't officially support it then I heard that toastch is working on it. So I can't wait either.

Point is that if it was able to be released yet, it would be.
No dev wants to release something that still has tons of bugs. the threads will be just filled with arguing and angry *****ing members complaining about it not working.
Believe me, no one wants aosp more then i do.

I know that if I were hiring someone and giving them privileged company info, I wouldn't want them dev'n for the competition.

I was wondering the same thing before - I was looking through the forums for it to no avail. Seems like it was discontinued or the thread was deleted pending a rewrite of the ROM. It was nice but VERY unstable for me. Random reboots leading into bootloops, etc.
That's too bad about it not being around, but I'm running it on my phone right now and I haven't had any bootloops or strange behavior. Oh well, guess I gotta look for something else. Hope AOSP is around the corner, but I just put Go Launcher on it anyway.

Hilarious buddy... Sooo funny. Just find it funny I had my senseless script up at least two days before you had incorporated the shell commands to yours... So naturally I assumed u got the ideas of what to leave enabled/ disabled from my script... I didn't ask you to take it down, just show some appreciation for me taking the time to find what works for our phones. Well if anything the manufactures will yank the best parts out and use that in the roms. As far as devs porting it to our phones it will be interesting to see who tackles it. Thats why i asked if there was interest in the mozilla os, might be fun to play with.

Probably not but I wanted to plant the idea of ics the the minds of the devs since we already have a kernel and source for ics but I guess that any over your little head now didn't it.

Yeah. Plus I and others have already tried CM9. It's not just, ok we have source, bam CM9.

I'm still messing around with CM9. Just filling a void. If somehow I get to the point to boot it and it boots I will be sharing with the community.
That being said, I'm a super noob when it comes to building CM. If I can't build I'm going to try to port it over from something. Not too sure if it's possible but we will see.
I might go to the devs themselves and ask them if they are interested in "fixing" whatever is wrong with CM9, than creating a thread.
