Ringer and notification volume - HTC EVO 3D

I moved to the 3D from the 4G and the ringer, even though turned up all the way is a lot quieter than the 4G was. In fact, I almost never hear it when it is on my belt. I have seen some posts about increasing the volume, but I think they are more related to music playback not the ring tones and notifications.
Also the volume on my voicemail is really low even when not on speaker.

have you tried volume control+ in the market?

I have the xda 11s and i am very happy with it except for the sound level on ring tone and sat nav
I have the bt hands free plug in lighter but that still is not as loud as i would like.
Is there a way of increasing the ring volume above what is in the volume function?
i have the ring tone at max and if it did not vibrate i would miss as many calls as i receive.

[Q] HD2 ringing tone volume and headset volume

Hello
I was wondering if anyone knew how to decrease the volume of the ringing tone when a headset is connected. By ringing tone I mean the sound when hear when you place a call before the call is connected. I have really sensitive ears and it really hurts my ears when I place a call with my headphones connected. Part 2 of my question is, Is it possible to lower the call volume with the rocker all the way to mute/silent? It shows its on the lowest but it's still to loud for my ears. What would be great is lower increments for the system volume (5%) all the way down to 0% or mute.
Also is it possible to have the phone ring through the speaker and headphones or just the speaker during incoming calls when headphones are connected? Maybe a reg tweak perhaps?

Anyone?? I can't believe the only part of the phone that is annoying is the phone part and well maybe the battery live but i can live with that.

[Q] ThunderBolt volume limit increase/ Always on SRS?

Is there any way to modify the software on the ThunderBolt to allow for an increased volume limit that would make the speaker louder for low volume apps and maybe even have a hack to enable SRS to be always on, since its currently limited to just the Music/Video/Gallery app
I listen to Sirius XM and some other streaming apps at work and my volume is unsatisfactory compared to what i had with my Droid Incredible, and seeing how we have a larger speaker with SRS capabilities, I think this would be handy for ThunderBolt owners if we could somehow get a hack for this.
+1
For music and stuff i use Power amp which has a built in eq and a volume booster.
But as far as streaming and anything that you can't use power amp for I also think our phones could/should be louder.
I have a hard time hearing people during phone calls and am constantly holding the vol up button trying to make it louder. I have heard people complain about theirs being to loud but can't remember which rom thread I read it in.
Is this even possible to make our phones speakers louder?
While searching for a fix I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1047241
I just dl it and have yet to install it but thought you might b interested. Lemme know your thoughts about it and if it helps.
I will do the same as soon as I get my crying baby to sleep
I think the thunderbolt volume and vibrate is very weak. When I set the ringer on low I can hardly here it. When I set it at full volume it doesn't seem loud enough, especially when driving. Is there any way to improve this?

In call and speakerphone volume are far too quiet for me also, adyrenlyn's kernel helped but was unstable on my phone and I can't find the right place to edit the volume myself for imoseyon's kernel

[Q] No0b question, volumes

I'm not sure if I'm acting handicapped here of if its the way Android was written, but my alerts for Text messages and Alarms are notoriously quiet.
I've ticked the box that says "Use incoming call volume for notifications" and then I set the incoming call volume to max. Then I unticked the volume and set each separate volume to max.
Either way, the notification volume is sooo silent that I literally have to look for the green flashing light on my phone to see if I even got a text.
And I almost missed the alarm this morning if I hadn't left vibrate on.

The x10 volume is really low sound. Its one of the only phones I have had that has such low volume. My sisters messaging phone lowest volume is louder than the x10 loudest. So you aren't the only one with the low volume complaint.

But, why is it specifically the notification volume? The incoming call volume is just fine.

I myself had to create my own ringtone with an app called ringdroid from the market from mp3 songs. The sound quality is better and louder.

[Q] Notifications Overall Volume Control

Just moved from an HTC to SGS 2 but one thing I can't work out. When I turn my ring volume down low, everything gets nice and quiet apart from notifications which play at full volume. On my HTC I turned the main volume down and everything turned down with it. Any ideas?
the sound controls are independent of each other.
head to [settings>sound>volume] to change the notification volume.
